This is the 3rd time we have used the company for our moves. Each time they were helpful, understanding, and efficient. First move 5 years ago was 2 residences combining into one--2 trucks, 2 crews, done simultaneously. Really terrific. Second move was a year ago--in the same building from one unit to another. Charged by the hour, which worked out great. Same efficiency and care. Third move was a week ago. Due to the distance involved, they could not do the moving, but we hired their packer to do our packing. Kelley packed all three of our moves. She is incredible. We REALLY appreciated her skills and care because we did our own unpacking at the destination end; this made us very conscious of the care and cleverness Kelley used to pack everything just right. See the pictures attached. The dresser pictured is not a nice piece of furniture. It is in fact inconsequential in terms of loss, but it is damaged. I don't believe there is any question Help You Move caused the damage with their hand cart during the move. They also damaged one of our chairs. Help You Move's worker first tried to put the chair on a furniture cart, but ultimately after dropping it on the furniture cart, which caused the damaged, he finally picked it up and carried it. To avoid the seat cushions becoming soiled I had to grab them to prevent them from being dropped on the ground I contacted Help You Move and both Art and Scott Hasse who claim to be owners of the company returned my call, separately. Scott was less than apologetic and simply denied any responsibility, claiming he personally was involved in the move and wrapped all of the furniture before transport. Okay, maybe so. But it wasn't wrapped on the hand truck when rolled into the house. My purpose here is to offer you feedback on the service I received from Help You Move, which was extremely disappointing. Check around. I know you can find better pricing. And based on my experience I think you recognize the service is not that great either. K read more

This is my second review for Help U Move. I see the first one is gone, but it was posted a couple years ago. Help U Move has moved me twice--once from my house to my condo, and then from my condo to ABQ NM. Alas, they couldn't help me come back. Not only are the quick, professional, and courteous, but I have called them any number of times for information, which was quickly given. If they minded my calling, I never got wind of it. I called this morning, wondering if I could piggyback or dovetail the move of a bed from Richland to Auburn WA with a larger move to the area. No hurry. Oh, yeah, I could, can, and will. We recently used Help-U-Move to move my husbands parents from their home of 20 years to a senior living community. Scott Haase sent three of his movers, Art, Jason and Greg, and there are not enough words to describe how kind, helpful and respectful they were. Help-U-Move moved my parents from one apartment to another in a senior community. The move was easy to schedule. We were given an hourly rate for 3 movers with an estimated 4-5 hours for their 2b2b apartment. The evening before the move I received a confirmation call that they would be out the next day. At 8 am the movers arrived promptly and got to work moving all the furniture and boxes. Since it was within an apartment complex, a truck wasn't needed although they arrived in one. It was all hand carry across a parking lot, down the hall and up the elevator. The team worked diligently and got the furniture out of and into the rooms better than a Bekins team had done (we had some big, awkward pieces of furniture). Nothing was broken. Best of all, it only took 3.5 hours to complete the move. The moving team was considerate and hard working. Definitely a pleasure to do business with the them and I'd call them again for a move. read more

Rick and his team including Julio and Peter were fast, responsive, and respectful of our special furniture. We have a LOT of stuff, but they had most of it in the van within 2 hours. They kept the chinese cabinet upright to avoid any damage to the scrollwork and there wasn't any. I told them about a pane of glass in my curio cabinet that was loose. They took it out and wrapped in a rug. Unfortunately it shattered into pieces. They have been out to measure for a new piece of glass and we'll split the cost. Very fair. There must have been a couple of knocks on things, but I don't remember any. Julio was very careful to put everything where we told him to. Rick arranged it so that there were always things to move but not so much there wasn't room. Peter was starting to run near the end to finish the job. Seven hours working and he's still running! Nice guys, proud of their work, overly fair about the glass which probably couldn't have been helped, and willing to round down a few minutes to avoid charging for another hour. read more
