Their pricing is extremely upfront vs other moving companies which seemed to keep tacking on hidden fees after I got on a call with them. The speed and quality of service is also awesome. The owner, Max, was very prompt with messaging me and giving me details before booking. The two movers that helped were great as well! Alex and Vadim had zero issues carrying any of the heavy furniture in my apartment, and they even removed and re-attached doors so that my furniture wouldn't scrape any of the doors. After researching multiple moving companies in San Diego, I decided to go with Premium Moving Service. I wasn't disappointed! From the start, Max was easy to get a hold of and gave me a quote the same day based on the pictures I sent. On the day of our move, 3 young guys showed up on time with a large truck. They came inside to survey the home and got immediately to work. They were very efficient, professional, and never stopped during the whole 7 hours we hired them! In addition, they are pros at dissembling and resembling items such as bed frames and cribs without any manuals! They did not leave any marks moving out the furniture and wrapped all our large items to protect them in the truck. The quote was accurate, no hidden fees. Their hourly rate was reasonable at $135/hour for 3 guys (plus $40 gas fee). Tape/plastic wrap/borrowing wardrobe boxes/borrowing blankets are free of charge! The price adds up but they work really hard and it's not an easy task moving houses. FYI they charge a transaction fee if you use credit card. They prefer cash. These guys are the absolute best! We have used Premium Moving Service 5 times. This includes 2 moves as well as when we had catastrophic flooding at our house so we had to move all our items from our house a few times in and out of storage. If I could, I would give them more than 5 stars because these guys deserve it! During one of our moves, we had our items in storage which included my passport in a lockbox. I had a work trip abroad when I realized I needed my passport within the next couple days. The guys rearranged their schedule so they could accommodate to meet me at my storage at 7am the next morning. I told them the drawer my passport was in and they found it within 5 mins. In addition, when we moved into our current house, we had to get our treadmill to the 2nd floor. The staircase was too narrow. They were able to get our treadmill onto the 2nd floor via the upstairs patio with a harness on one of the guys chest while another guy pushed it up from below. It was truly jaw dropping for all of us that watched. There seriously isn't a task these guys can't accomplish. Most of all, these guys are efficient and truly take care of your items. As I previously mentioned, we have used them numerous times and they have not broken anything or scuffed up any walls at our house. They are also extremely professional and trustworthy. I have always been nervous to use a moving company since most of them have negative reviews. I did a lot of research and these guys had the best ratings, and they did not disappoint! First of all, these guys are all business. No chatting, no funny business wasting your time. What do you need, where, etc. They are efficient, which is great since all moving companies charge you by the hour. They moved us from a 2nd story condo to a garage storage. We then hired them again to move from garage storage to a single level home. We packed everything into boxes and they came in and loaded everything. They were super delicate and NOTHING (not even delicate china) was broken when we unpacked. They listed to where we wanted everything, even after we changed our mind, they had no problem moving things around. They even moved my upright piano from the 1920's that is super delicate and heavy. Arrived promptly to pack up our entire 2/2 condo into our 15 foot moving truck for long distance move, so this review also reflects their excellent packing and loading skills for long journeys. They also took the time to help unhook and push the auto trailer we had on our truck so that we could maneuver it in place. They showed up early with our blessing and made short work of loading and unloading the truck. At my request, they disassembled a heavy futon frame so I could take it to the dump. When they loaded the futon frame into my SUV, they even secured it with a seat belt so it would not shift or thwack me in the head. They thought of everything. Our little boxes where loaded into a big wardrobe box to secure the smaller pieces. They deftly secured the loose parts in our furniture with blankets and a lot of tape. I will say that after reading all the stellar reviews for the company, my expectations were extremely high. That being said, this was not quite a 5 star experience. The positives: they were on time, very affordable, very fast at first, and very efficient with wrapping items with blankets to protect them. They bring wardrobe boxes and protective blankets. They knew how to take furniture apart to move it more effectively. They finished in their estimated time of 4 hours (practically on the dot), and they were polite. The negatives: not very friendly (I don't need to chit chat while they do their job, but they barely said more than 10 words to us for the entire 4 hours). They actually seemed annoyed most of the time, and when they finally arrived to the new place, my boyfriend had to help them carry boxes up the stairs in order to finish within the 4 hours (not a big deal, but isn't that what we're paying them for?). They took apart my dresser in order to move it, but didn't put it back together. There were also several dings on some of our furniture, which tells me it was not handled as delicately as advertised. Overall it was a positive experience, and we got to move without the hassle of carrying furniture and boxes down 3 flights of stairs and up 2 more. I would use this company again. read more

The guys came and knocked everything out like they did the first time. They packed everything really well, including wrapping fragile items (e.g. TVs, monitors, glass panels), packing bags into boxes, and dismantling large furniture (e.g. Bed). They even helped me throw some dressers that I needed to donate into my pickup truck AND went the extra mile to wrap it so it would be protected and keep the drawers in place. I called all of them and this moving company gave me the most reasonable rate. Even I did not need full service move, it was just a pod loading, was really concerned about fitting all my belongings in one container. POD was too small and I had too much. Alex and his coworker did an AAAA++++ job and loaded everything in a safe and professional manner. It took only two hours, but even with a 3 hour minimum charge final price was way better than other companies offered to me. This is the second time I used Premium Movers. This time because of the rules for the condo I was moving to, they required the movers to fill out paperwork in advance about proof of insurance. The company filled it out and sent it back by e-mail no problem. They also were happy to move my scheduled time from 9am to an earlier 8am which better fit my condo's specified moving time window. I prepacked most of my stuff in boxes, but did not dismantle bed frame or furniture or wrap fragile items. I also have a heavy digital piano with a cabinet the same size as a real spinet piano. They moved everything from my 1-bedroom apartment down two flights of stairs to their truck; drove the two miles to my new place, and unloaded everything into my 1-bedroom condo (this end had an elevator)--including reassembling the bed frame and putting furniture where I requested. This took a very quick 3 and a half hours total. I am not sure how their hourly charge compares to other companies, but it is definitely more than worth it when you can be sure they will hustle to get everything moved as quickly as possible while keeping your items safe. Premium Movers is by far the best moving company I have ever dealt with. I hope not to move again for a long time, but if I have to I definitely know who to call. read more
