But I convince him. 1.This restaurant needs to hire a Janitor. Very dirty and smell. 2. Food: spend $40 for AYCE but the food is not fresh. I am a fan of sushi and I had try so many spot. This is my first and will be my last try. I rarely do bad review since I want all business to keep up, but this experience is the most terrible experience I ever had. The first time we came here it was so good ! The sushi was fresh and everything came out fairly fast. We came back a week later to an absolute disaster . They told us 20 minute wait ...we waited 55 minutes outside. Our server sat us , and we never saw her the rest of the evening. The sushi was very below average this time . Rice was hard and stale , fish was unpleasant , I even got nasty salmon skin on one of my nigiri. They are extremely understaffed and I literally saw our food sitting in the pass for 20 minutes before it came to us . Tempura was soggy , plates were u professionally presented, I can go on . Our orders were mixed up at least 2 times and we couldn't even get a hold of a server to get out of their fast enough . Went to try hello sushi for their all you can eat sushi and it was absolutely amazing. Everything tasted authentic after going to japan last year. Their takoyaki was hot and fresh, the yakitori was delicious with the sauce, the sushi was fresh, and the rice was amazing. Appetizers are a must. The atmosphere was nice and open with a nice bar design with a lot of Japanese elements. The service was GREAT, our server Sarah was friendly and checked on us frequently. Stopped by this sushi joint on the drive home from the outlets. Super friendly staff... we did the AYCE for approx $25 per person. My oldest is 9 yrs old and super tall. The prices go based on height and not age.. technically he would have been $25 too but they charged only $14 since he barely eats. My 3 year old was free. Totally a great value! We ordered a ton of rolls and some sushi. Everything was very fresh and delicious. My son got the Pokémon roll which was the only disappointment of the bunch. My cousins and I came here hoping to try a new sushi spot on Lunar New Years. The three of us saw Hello Sushi had a ton of positive reviews that mostly praised the kind and consistent service. We chose the AYCE sushi dinner for $38 and immediately regretted our decision in picking this place. We had only finished one of the three rounds because of how distasteful the food was. Considering the hefty price per person, we ordered all the premium appetizers and premium nigiri sushi possible. Our first few bites were not very good; the fish did not taste fresh and the texture felt too firm and old. The flavor was lacking severely. The specialties were bland and turned our stomachs upside down. The food honestly ruined our appetites and so we ended up paying a $122 bill since we were scared of ordering more, not liking it, and having to pay for the leftovers we wouldn't be able to finish. The only thing we liked about our dine in experience was the service. The workers were kind enough to stop and help us out when it came to asking for napkins, straws, and chopsticks. 2/10 worst sushi spot, better options out there! recommendation: ABURIPAYCE in Buena Park :,) Aburi has the same concept with AYCE around the same price. Save your money and go to Aburi! Their specialties are so delicious and fresh. Their fish to rice ratio is way better than Hello Sushi and had great service. Personally, I like the Tuna and Albacore- They are delicious- The eel is good but it is too heavily marinated- In terms of other good options, I like the tempuras. They are very fresh and the sauce is delicious- The rolls are good but they put too much salt and it is very sweet. Plus, it fills you up instantly- So if you want to eat a lot of sushi, order less rolls. Service is good but they do get hostile if you order too much. Hey! We finished everything- Parking is very easy- Bathroom is clean- Will be coming here more often- Lot more often- Hopefully, the lady will not be upset when we order a lot again- We are highly against wasting food.
