The line was wrapped around the building and I was there 20 min after opening

Absolutely terrible. I cannot believe they travel from state to state just to serve 4 stale rock hard cookies and some little bit of merchandise. The LEAST they could've did was have drinks and really could've kept the cookies ! I waited 2 n a half hours in line and drove 35 min away to get a stale cookie. I'm highly disappointed. Even my friend who's addicted to cookies hated it !

This was my first time visiting the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck in Walnut Creek and I had a fun time. : ) There were a lot of friendly Hello Kitty and Sanrio fans there. I actually got there around 5:30am and was second in line, lol. The truck didn't even arrive until 9:00am. Then they started unloading the boxes full of merch and didn't open until 10:00am. I think it's safe to get there around 7:00am or so if you don't want to wait in a huge line. I was just worried about them selling out of things I wanted. After I left at 10:10am or so, there was a HUGE line going through the parking garage and winding around to Nordstrom. So, if you want to get first dibs on things, definitely arrive early. The cafe truck is mainly for merch, not so much food, which I know is weird to some people. The food they do have isn't that great (the sugar cookies I got were a bit stale and definitely not like homemade sugar cookies). But they were cute, lol. Everything is also REALLY expensive and they only take credit cards. The cookies I got were $15 for 3 and $15 for a huge Hello Kitty one. There were also macarons, cakes, and madeleines, which I didn't get. Those may have been okay. I was mainly there for the cute t-shirt, mugs, tote bag, and pins. I would probably go again if they get some new things in. It was fun, but just really expensive and having to get up early to go and beat the line sucks. But the vibe there was really fun and it cheered me up while going through a really hard time in my personal life. : )

I was super excited to come to this but when I got there they were complete sold out of everything. Really good location in the middle of a bunch of shops and a lot of places to sit. Maybe next year. I think they still have to go to San Francisco.

So Im a super fan of Hello kitty since forever! I have been eye balling this truck forever. They came to our neck of the woods and we went. The lines insane over 2 hrs wait. Service very slow and no shade or water offered for anyone. The things are super cute and taste like any cookies or macaroons. The $3 dollar water bottle adorbs! But seriously 2 hrs for a cookie that is expensive no thanks. Been there done that over it. Tips-they should offer cold water to the people waiting in the beating hot sun. They actually had mall security making sure no one was cutting so that was cool. Service was ok, the workers just looked stressed out and wanted to finish but they were nice. So if you must go but be warned this is going to take a while .

I'm not a "huge" fan of hello kitty, but I like to do random stuff for fun, I had my co worker come with because she's a big fan! Thus rating is only because of items not being available. Not that they "sold out" that day. The truck came with a few items that weren't available already. I was planning on purchasing pins, cushions, & water bottle as well. Those items were already not available prior to them opening. Also tote bags for sale weren't available as well. My thing is, people come & wait in line for hours & hours for something. They show up & it's not even on the truck for sale. I wish they would post it on their website when they come, the little sign they put outside to show us what they have for sale & price. They post online a whole other list which half of that list is not in the truck for sale. Overall the experience was fun, & exciting. The workers were super nice, and I was about the 30th person in line and when they opened it took about 30 min to purchase something. I came early though, about 2 hours ahead of their opening time. My co worker and I had a good time. Time flew by for us.

Got to experience this in Orlando, Florida! I've never had a chance to get to the cafe in Irvine since it opened, so this was a great taste of the experience! Definitely recommend the mini cake set, each one is a different type of cake and filling, so good!

The staff was friendly. It does get packeted really quick so you need to go a couple of hours before opening. Everything was great.

I'm so happy to see an Asian bakery in downtown Pleasant Hill, especially a Korean bakery. And…read moreyesss, we got Paris Baguette! First off, don't let the name fool you because despite its name it's actually a Korean bakery, not a French bakery. They do have a lot of French inspired pastries though, like croissants. I keep seeing people on TikTok eating those cylinder shaped Croissants filled with creamy custard or chocolate cream, so naturally I had to try one when I saw them at the store. I also knew I had to try the Salted Bread since Japanese style salted bread has been super viral all over Asia lately. We ended up getting both, and honestly they were pretty good. Let me start with the Salted Bread, the inside had that signature hollow interior with a slightly crusty exterior, so it felt pretty legit. The salty crust paired really nicely with the buttery flavor of the bread. It was good, but I don't get the hype around it. I know some people are completely obsessed with salted bread, but to me it's basically just really good bread tasting like salted butter. I like it, but it's just not enough to make me obsessed with it. Then we tried the cylinder shaped croissant that was half dipped in chocolate, and that was pretty good too. Obviously room temperature croissants just don't hit the same as warm freshly baked ones, but for room temperature ones, these were pretty solid. I also really liked the interior of the shop. Everything looked super clean, modern, and chic. All the baked goods were displayed really beautifully too. I'd definitely come back again the next time I'm in the vicinity, and next time I'll try some of their other stuff too.

If you know, you know. The pastries here are absolutely worth the detour--and honestly, wherever I see a Paris Baguette, I do pull over. That includes locations I've visited in Northern California, North Brunswick, New Jersey, Atlanta, Georgia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and even the one here in Charlotte down in Pineville. It's a bit of a drive for me, but when I'm in that area, I always make a point to stop in and pick up a couple of their delicious croissant-donut pastries and marzipan or almond croissants. That's the beauty of this bakery--it's a chain, yes, but the consistency is what keeps me coming back. I have yet to be disappointed. Of course, I had to stop at this Hilton Head location--and I didn't come empty-handed. Food connects people, and bringing pastries to your host is always a winning move. I picked up three different varieties of their famous croissant-donut style pastries (similar to the well-known cronut): * Chocolate * Tiramisu * Mango And I added two large almond croissants that were beautifully filled, flaky, and indulgent. Everything looked fresh, full, and irresistible. The setup inside is easy and efficient. It's self-serve: you grab a tray, line it with parchment, use the tongs, and select whatever catches your eye--from baguettes to cakes to coffee drinks. Checkout was quick, Apple Pay was accepted, and the whole experience felt smooth and well organized. The space was clean, friendly, and inviting, with plenty of outdoor seating. Bottom line: Whenever you see a Paris Baguette on your radar, pull over. It's dependable, delicious, and perfect for picking up pastries to share--or to treat yourself. For me, it's one of those rare places that delivers the same quality every single time, no matter the city--and that kind of consistency is something I truly appreciate as a traveler and lifelong foodie.

I came across this pop-up at Epidemic Ales, though you can easily place an order with them on-line for any occasion. My pecan tart was fresh with a flaky shell. For me, the shell of a small tart makes up half of the tart, so it was a plus that it was super duper fresh. The filling was made up equally of fresh nuts but did have a rather prominent taste of alcohol. Some pecan pies contain a bit of alcohol like rum or bourbon. I went on their homepage, and it looks like they also make a Maple Bourbon Pecan Pie. I'm assuming that the tart I got may have been a mini version of that. If you're averse to alcohol in your food, keep this in mind, at least when it comes to their pecan tartlets. Guilty Pleasures makes cupcakes, cakes, pies, cookies and other nicely presented baked goods as well. I spied pre-packaged mixes of mini treats that can be purchased as a nice hostess gift that contained macarons, meringues, and what looked like small pumpkin tarts. I definitely enjoy my sweet treats, but with Guilty Pleasures, it's nice to know that with the smaller bites of desserts I can have them all, minus the guilt...sort of.

We noticed tables of candies and a whole wall of candy that you can choose from each candy was labeled with different countries where the candies came from which I thought was pretty cool. The people asked us if we need any help to let them know. We did notice that the prices were pretty high. So for 1 pound of candy in the bag it was $25. However, the girls did pick out a couple pieces of candy for each and we spent about $4.50. This place is definitely cute and provides a lot of different types of candies, but it is kind of pricey.
