I have loved the OTR location for years so was beyond excited to see a more convenient parking location pop up. Still has all of the same delicious and exotic flavors, but a cute little venue in EWH. The blueberry pie was excellent, but the interesting taste combo that was unexpectedly good was the Gorgonzola pecan. Don't let the idea scare you, it's delicious. It always seems they close fairly early in comparison to times i'd be downtown, but on the first night of Blink we came early enough for the parade to stop in. The inside of the shop isn't much to look at, its very simple, however the flavors certainly make up for this. It was very busy and there was only one gentleman working, and boy was he working his butt off! I have never seen such hustle in an employee and the owners should be proud of this. He apologized that he was the only one there but the crowd was luckily being very understanding. The ice cream here is small batch and made with all natural ingredients (nothing artificial). The chalk board states the eggs are cage free and the dairy is hormone free! Their flavors rotate and are seasonal. If youd like to plan ahead they keep the current flavor list on their website. They are happy to provide you with samplings of the ice cream flavors before making your final decision. Their desserts beyond ice cream are all made on site. The store itself is filled with the aroma of freshly made waffle cones! I sampled the honey lavender and the banana honeycomb. Both were fabulous so I opted for a scoop of each, with a waffle cone, and homemade marshmallow toasted atop. The second scoop didnt quite fit so it made its way into a side dish. I think in the future id opt for the waffle bowl instead. The waffle cone was the best ive ever had. Excited for the many flavors they had, it was quickly narrowed down with five of the sixteen flavors sold out! I went with chocolate fudge and it was ok. Very fudgy for those that love that richness! I couldn't pass up the toasted marshmallow on top though. I saw other review pictures and it looked gooey and yummy! It sure was too! It tasted like a s'mores warmed marshmallow and I loved it. The interior could be more inviting, maybe replace the metal chairs and add some plants or pillows but I liked the playful yellow décor and wall graphics. There are so many options to choose from, made-to-order waffle cones, small batch ice cream, cakes, cheesecake, their famous torched marshmallows, and sundaes (including one with a croissant bread budding). We got the cheesecake and two scoops of ice cream. The peanut butter midnight snack was memorable with a rich pb flavor and huge chunks of chocolate cookie bits. They make their own fresh ice cream and everything else they make that goes with the ice cream to compliment it, they make to order. I'm talking about fresh made waffle cones. A giant brownie that you have to wait 30ish minutes for that they bring straight out to you in the skillet it was cooked in. Mouth watering, melt in your mouth unreal goodness. Everything here is amazing and you literally couldn't go wrong if you tried. If you're going to stick with only ice cream, my favorites are "Brownie & Cream" and "Cookies & Pie". If you get the brownie make sure you get a scoop of ice cream to go on top of it. If you get a root beer float here, it is the most boujee but most amazing float you will ever have. Every piece of Cheesecake I've had here has been amazing. Also, If they have it when you're there, the Banana Fosters Is out of this world. Lastly as far as things go food wise here, if anything is on the menu with a toasted marshmallow, Just do it. Don't question it.
