My Sister recommended this place. Wife and I came in for a light meal. Place was nice and had a line waiting for takeout. That's a great sign that food here is good. We were seated quickly and brought our water and hot tea. Wife ordered Lrg bowl of Egg drop soup and a couple of the egg rolls. I ordered the Rice Bowl with schezwan Chicken. Took about ten minutes or less for us to get our meals. See the pics I posted. Soup bowl was HUGE! easily 5 regular orders. It was hot, savory and very good. Egg rolls were homemade and again very tasty. My Rice bowl was just right size. Chicken was hot and Spicy! Really liked it. In all we liked the meal and this place. It's been soo disappointing! Something has changed, and NOT in a good way. For the third time in a row the WALNUT Shrimp had NO WALNUTS! And each visit there is progressively less broccoli. I know that's not a big deal to some people, but it's an important part of the meal for me. The three tiny broccoli bits were really sad. The Mongolian Beef was more onions than beef, and very undercooked. Service is still okay, but there's been a full changeover in staff. Otherwise, nice casual ambiance is still there. Decently handicapped accessible and sensory-friendly. Not sure if I'm willing to keep going back, three visits straight having sad food instead of comfort food might be my limit. read more

I've usually had great experiences here. The food is usually really good. Tonight, however, the service was terrible. I called and made my order for pick up. They said 25-30 minutes. I showed up 30 minutes later and one kid working said "it will be ready in 5 minutes". Well 20 minutes go by and in that time, the same kid said "it will be ready in 5 minutes" to 4 other people. Service was SUPER fast and friendly. Food was all very reasonably priced with good portions and flavors. We definitely had leftovers and both my wife and I ate ours the next day and said "wow! These are really good leftovers!" Which is definitely not always the case after eating out. We were also both impressed as we watched a young man getting trained to be on the staff. I assume it was the owner who was coaching the young man on how to greet customers. You could tell the owner cared and wanted it to be a good experience and to give his staff confidence in their abilities. Are you going to have some crazy over the top atmosphere here? Yes I now, I should not have chanced tasting something that smellled so funky, but I was very very hungry and I put my senses of smell in the back seat while my grumbling belly made my mouth open. after chewing the first and only piece of shrimp I quickly leaned into towards my kitchen sink and threw it up, more less spat it out, there was not a second bite and I had to brush my teeth and use two two mouth wash rinses to get that AWEFUL, AESFUK, taste gone, but thmemory remains unfortunately. So please folks please consider that if a restaurant can sell human urine into there meals without much kind of conscious than we are all in a strange sitution not exactly knowing what might be passed as Shrimp and Lobster Sauce. I'm part Chinese, and growing up around my Chinese family I was always around and eating Chinese food. My uncle even owned a Chinese restaurant. Utah isn't known for great Chinese food... especially up north around Davis County. I've tried my fair share of mom and pop Chinese restaurants around Utah and was never impressed. New Hello China has broken that mold. Very clean and comfortable atmosphere. Very friendly staff. And the food so far... been there twice in one week...is really delicious. For Utah...I'm quite impressed . I love how they have their school aged kids help out with the family business. Answering phones and taking orders. Very polite and smart kids. Our first Christmas here in West Point... I googled Chinese and this place popped up. We waited 40 min for take out but here's the thing- it was Christmas. They were working on Christmas! I would probably give this place 4.5 stars. The reason I knocked it down a little was our service. Our server was brand new and knew nothing. She didn't know what was in the dishes we had questions about. We ordered pea pod chicken dinner special and happy family dinner dinner special. I asked to swap out the wontons for an egg roll. She said sure. When she brought it out, it had wontons. I mentioned I asked for egg rolls. She said she would go get it. She came back with 3 more wontons! ‍ We were kind to her and I let it go. Schezwan Chicken should be Chicken (lots of it) with de arbol chiles, what you get is a lot of noodles and vegetables. if you take the noodles and vege's out you have 4-5 pcs (bite size) of chicken, unbelieable. read more

For American style Chinese, Hello China delivers. Portions are good sized, and I usually have leftovers to take home. The wonton soup is good, clear broth with bbq pork, shrimp and veggies. The real star of this place is the employees. I have been in a few times with my brother in law (he is a regular there) and even when I go in alone,I am recognized and greeted like family. Every time we have our neice with us, she creates a disaster area (she's 2) and they never complain, instead bringing crayons and coloring books to keep her occupied.
