Hello Bar Bk has been open for a little over a year now and it's thee perfect cozy bar to grab a drink or have some bar bites. The beef, chicken and jerk shrimp empanadas are so yummy and you have to eat it with the homemade green sauce. I literally wanna bathe in that sauce. The wings are really tasty and you can't go wrong with any of the flavors, they're even good plain fried. But the star for me are the nachos. I consider myself a nacho connoisseur of sorts and the beef nachos are so freakin good! It's one of my favorite things to get off the food menu. I'm a little obsessed. The specialty cocktails are amazing but they have a full bar so get whatever's clever. They also feature a cocktails and curations events so local bartenders and creatives can host special cocktail nights. It's an amazing way to get creative, collaborate with a local business and curate a fun and limited cocktail menu for an evening. This business is woman opened, BIPOC owned and the locals who frequent the space are so kind. They also have themed parties where people host and have DJs spinning great music. If it isn't your favorite local divish bar, it soon will be. Show up. Support and tip your bartenders!

Overall rating: 4.7 Super cute bar in the PLG area. The owner is so sweet and nice! Admittedly I wish drinks were a tad cheaper given the area, but can't knock that down for a good vibe. The music is a vibe but I do wish it was just 3-5 ticks lower. It's so loud for the space & when it's not crowded. Definitely a bar for the rotation.

Thanks to Anya whom we met at another spot up the street, we came and checked out this little gem. Cute spot. Very good music a dj was on the scene when we arrived. We walked in about 1am on Saturday. It only had a handful of people in there but it didn't matter. The bartender was super friendly and the music was such a vibe. The great thing is the kitchen was still open at that late hr. They only had wings and empanadas available. We tried the beef empanada, the sauce its served with is so damn good. The filling was a bit salty thou. I ordered a lemon drop. Id come back again.

I come here all the time. This quaint bar in Brooklyn is always welcoming. From the super sweet owner Celene to their great cocktails. This is a place you have to support . They have great happy hour deals and yummy bites. On Wednesdays they have guest bartenders displaying their signature cocktails and on Tuesday it's Taco Tuesday and Chess Night. They now offer brunch which I have to try. On the weekends they have a live DJ. They are serving mostly minority owned liquors with a little of some classics.

This was such a cute little spot. Came here for happy hour and their deal wasn't too bad. $7-$9 cocktails including well drinks (for $7) and $9 margs. They have a list of speciality cocktails which are two dollars off during happy hour. Happy Hour is from 5-7 and if you happen to stumble in when Chanera is bartending then you won't be disappointed. She was a really good bartender and made one of the best margs i've ever had (& im not even a big marg girlie). They do serve tapas but unfortunately we left before the time that the kitchen opened. I'll def be back again to try their bites.

If you're looking for a good time then this is definitely your place! The owner and bartender are super sweet and accommodating. I went for their karaoke night and all I can say is we had a timeeee! The chicken empanadas were very flavorful and the chicken tacos were bomb. They also give free shots to the karaoke participants.

This is such a cozy little unexpected spot. The decor is absolutely CHIC inside and the staff is so friendly and kind. Honestly I'm so glad we got such an upscale spot for the neighborhood. Great prices too. I had the spinach empanada and the nachos. I liked them

The food was soooo good!!! The drinks were great. I really enjoyed the coconut in The Autumn, and how refreshing Jungle Fever was.

Had an incredible dinner here! I made a reservation on Resy for indoor dining (they have outdoor…read moredining, but I thought it was too cold outside even with heat lamps). It's super cozy inside, and they also give you pillows to sit on. Our server was really friendly and gave us great recommendations. We ordered a few different things to share for our party of two: - Bacon wrapped dates (5/5) so good!!! - Short ribs (5/5) I actually don't usually eat beef but these were so good and not dry. The orzo on the side also balanced it out well. - Kale salad (5/5) This seemed like a simple salad but it was so yummy and dressed well. The pine nuts tasted good with this too! - Vegan fruit sundae (2/5) Sadly this was the only thing that missed the mark. I didn't like the raisins and the almonds didn't really work well with everything but that was just me. The sorbet was also pretty sour. The best thing about this was the white cream on top (it tasted like real cream)

Drinks were great, nice amount of alcohol in them. We tried many things, would 100% recommend the Patatas Bravas & Brussels. We both enjoyed the Beef Empanadillas but my friend through the Chicken Shawarma sliders were very cilantro forward. Dessert was nice as well, I think the only disappointing item was the Spanish Pitza which we both didn't like. Very nice space, aesthetically pleasing. Can definitely see myself coming back to continue exploring the menu

I had the chicken bacon ranch sandwich, with grilled chicken, which didn't feel heavy at all and was absolutely delicious. The pork belly sandwich that my friend had was good, and he said that it had a spice to it that made it unique. We got a few rounds of the pigtail, and it was light refreshing and very summery. The wait staff was very friendly, and attentive.. and we sat out in the back and it was great. Would recommend if in the area!

Boy, this place should have been fantastic and just couldn't get there. My top-tier chum who…read moreliterally went to the school of hospitality and I stopped by here Tuesday night prior to the Nets game for some light bites and cocktails - I refuse to buy the overpriced crap at Barclays, so this seemed like more than a good compromise. I also had multiple chums from Brooklyn endorsing this spot, so everything seemed to be lining up for an excellent night. Unfortunately, I'm starting to think you just can't go to places like this on a Tuesday, but maybe it was just a bad night. I got here way before my chum due to our work schedules, literally 45 minutes or so. It wasn't 6pm yet and while there were definitely customers in both the bar area and the backyard outdoor section, it was pretty chill. I was able to secure a small table next to the bar right by the open window in the front (probably because the sun was glaring down on it, which wasn't an issue 10 minutes later) and just chilled out for a while, enjoying the excellent warm weather. This was the highlight of the experience, which unfortunately my chum did not get to enjoy. A lot of this was just unfortunate timing, I think. As I was waiting for my chum, people were practically streaming into the bar, probably about 25 or so, which I watched with increasing trepidation. Pretty much all of them wanted a drink, and there was only one bartender. They did not fix that problem until well into my chum's visit, so there was literally just the one guy making a gazillion drinks for about 45 minutes. Just no reason for that at all, especially given that they DID have the resources to divert and had a young woman back there at a certain point. But once I saw how crazy it was getting, I tried to pre-emptively order a second round, which he forgot about and had to ultimately be reminded of. It took literally half an hour to get the second drink. When my chum arrived, she went up to the bar to order her own drink and some of the arancini. She came back 10 minutes later and said she wasn't given the opportunity - THAT is completely insane. If you're so swamped that customers have to wait that long to even order much less get their drinks, you need help. Not clear where the disconnect was, but what started out as a great experience pretty much crash landed. Really disappointing. The crowd did thin out ultimately but the damage had been done. We were able to get the drinks but didn't bother with the additional app because we didn't want to risk missing a big chunk of the Nets game. So by not being even remotely attentive for a significant period of time, they left money on the table. I will say that the bartender himself maintained his professionalism throughout, and just kept making the drinks. Pretty much the opposite of what would have happened on Bar Rescue. This was on management, not the bartender. The drinks WERE good, which also made the service problems a shame. I got the Witch Doctor, which featured bourbon, rosemary, maple and lemon. Really well made, and appropriate for the unseasonably warm evening - it's the kind of bourbon cocktail made for summer. Would absolutely get that again. And the food was very solid. The star of the night was the arancini, which were featured prominently on the apps menu right at the time and promoted as one of their big selling points - deservedly so. These were honestly some of the best rice balls I've had. The cheese in the middle emphasized the flavors and wasn't too dense or overwhelming, the balls were cooked perfectly, and the sauce (the underrated part of rice balls for me) was delicious. Huge recommend. I also got a margarita flatbread to share with my chum, and that was good as well. Everything was going to come up short to the arancini, but it hit the spot. As mentioned, this was a random Tuesday night when maybe they don't have their full crew ready to rock. Maybe it was a fluke crowd surge? I just don't know, but the bottom line was that they weren't prepared for the customers who came in and were already there, and that's a big problem. If you can't deliver the same quality that you do on the weekends and predictably busier times, then you shouldn't be open that early in the week. Hopefully they figure it out because there's a lot to like here.

"Right On" I rarely…read moretake the time to review a spot unless I feel absolutely necessary. Lunatico is a place that has been on my list for awhile. Immediately upon entering, one of the servers said it was standing room only by the door or by the stage. That was not a problem, but then she immediately proceeded to question our ability to provide patronage, asking if we had a card to validate us occupying the space. The vibe was off. After explaining to the owner/singer that we felt unwelcomed upon entering his establishment he said "right on" and it's busy on Saturdays. Long story short: music was a vibe, but customer service was severely lacking, and presumptuous.
