He referred an excellent catering company that we used for drop off, and Phil and his staff handled everything, changing out platters and running the bar seamlessly and unobtrusively. The drinks were excellent and the ambience superb. Several guests commented how much they liked it. The space was ideal for the number we had--about 50-providing both intimacy and space. There's an exclusive bathroom for the lounge. The audio system was excellent, we hooked up our iPad no problem and played from our Spotify list. Microphones were provided and worked well. Phil also adjusted the air conditioning as needed. There was a large party going on in the front bar section, but we heard very little noise interference from there. An amazing time!

I asked the waiter if I could get the table by the window when they leave. He said no, it's reserved. I said, "Okay, how about the one in the back?" He replied, "That's also reserved." "Okay, how about the one to the side?" "Nope, that's also reserved, and by the way, this bar is also reserved, so we have about 40 minutes until we have to leave." I've never felt more uncomfortable in my life. We are definitely not wanted here We are here, quiet, enjoying ordering ourselves having cocktails and food. He just smiled.Wont be back there ever again

We jumped over to the bar right beside and drank some girly drinks before getting the notification our table was ready. As with nearly every establishment in NYC, it is very close quarters in paradise lost. We stood at a table while waiting for seats at the bar to become available. Which, we didn't mind. I could see how this might be a little harder to get a seat for a bigger group if you aren't there before 6. It seemed that once a group got a big table, they camped out. The drinks were strong and creative. Friendly bartenders, good music, and yummy options for bar snacks. Also, the bathroom is a nice touch. Given the hell theming for the bar, the bathroom is a 180 and while using the Lou, you can listen to the bible being recited. Theres also a spooky surprise if you press the button in the bathroom. Speaking of the bathroom, it is at the bottom of some decently narrow stairs. So, try and stay sober enough for stairs or you may fall. Go to this bar. You will have fun.

I mean, I've had bad pina coladas at dive bars, but I expected more from this place. I would say it was very strong, though, so you know what? That's a good thing to be very strong for that price I'm paying. The spam musubi was also a rip-off. You see two here, but each one costs its own $10, so save your money. Eat somewhere else. Eat a pizza across the street.

We went on a Friday night with a party of 3 and did a walk in. That was a risky move and to our luck, the hostess was so sweet and squeezed us in as the last party of the night! This is a must visit when in downtown Brooklyn. We couldn't try the food since the kitchen closed and we were the last to enter but we were able to try 3 drinks and I recommend them all! 1. Donkey Conga ($22) Bourbon and aged cachaça centrifuged with Banana. Followed by Cynar & sweet vermouth. 2. Manta Ray ($22) Coconut cocktail of apricot, ginger, and mint. London dry gin & Haitian Rhum. 3. Star cycle ($18) Shakened milk washed gin, Jasmine, and grapefruit

The stars finally aligned this winter and I had the opportunity to try it out. The vibes are perfect. Fog and bubbles, sea noises and all of the art go together seemlessly. Drinks were great. We had three and left suitably sloshed for the night with no aftereffects. We didn't have too many bites but the food was very good for a bar. I'm excited to go back and I hope we have just as much luck getting in next time.

At night, the city lights stretch out in every direction and it feels like the perfect NYC moment. We ordered the Bowery Margarita and it did not disappoint fresh, smooth, and perfectly balanced with that citrus kick. The presentation was gorgeous too, topped with a dried orange slice that felt just as Instagram-worthy as it was delicious. It's the kind of spot that works equally well for a date night, catching up with friends, or just sipping a drink while soaking in the view. Definitely one of those "only in New York" experiences. Pro tip: go in the evening when the city lights are just starting to glow you'll get the best of both the sunset and the night skyline.
