Loved every minute of it! Clean and comfortable! Great costumer service! And my nails turned out amazing! Definitely my spot from now on!

Pedicure I've never been so happy and in aww of my feet until coming here

They give the best service I've been here 4x already I've gotten different people sometimes the same but I've NEVER walked out unsatisfied or not happy with the service I received. They give THE BEST SERVICE, QUALITY, and make sure you like what your getting there not too rough or anything . Helen and her husband are the sweetest and everyone here is so friendly

Tom never dissapoints. I bring in a design and he "nails" it. By far the best in whittier.

Summer did my pedicure yesterday evening. I must say this is my own personal experience. This was one of the top Three pedicures I have had in my life. Summer paid attention to every detail of my nails and toes. I will be back every month and my nails will only get better and better. TYVM Summer MPW

I recommend this nail salon! 10/10 on attentiveness and service. I'm a lil picky wit salons but I'm definitely coming back, great price and they are all so sweet. Love the way he did the coffin set shape and square toes. Fast service & very clean inside.

Helen is very professional and her husband Tom is too. I've always been satisfied with her work and her employees. I get mani and pedi gel deluxe treatment!

Helen and Tom never fail, they are continually on point with my nails.

Brianna C.

I recently started going to this nail salon and I absolutely love it. Other places the gel would come off right away but here they at least last me a month. When I come in for a new set, the gel removal is so easy and my nails have never looked so healthy. Thank you Helen!!

New to La Mirada, I've tried so many nail shops in the area, none of them met my standards. Well, the search is over... I've been twice now! Once Tom fixed a nail design that I HATED from another place. He "nailed it", pun intended! Today, Helen did my full gel manicure. I love them! She was gentle and the gel is NOT thick! I'm so happy! The atmosphere is clean and trendy. Newly renovated within the last year. I'm so happy to have this gem so close to home! read more

Nice place, but pricey for the area and for what you receive. They charge extra for everything. Massage on legs and arms is very limited and they don't clean under your nails or scrub your feet. Just wham-bam, thank you Ma'am. read more

I'm not picky with where I go because I just get simple French tips, so I was driving by and randomly found Helen's. I walked in on a Saturday afternoon and got quick service. I noticed right away the place is very clean, calm, and spacious. I sat down for my service and they opened a brand new, sterile tool pack! I have never seen a salon use single-use tools on their clients. I was so pleased with that. The manager is so nice and easy to talk to. My nails look the best they ever have. This is for sure my new place. read more

Found my spot for pedicures. I highly recommend this place! They all do amazing pedicures! They are not overpriced like surrounding nail places. I bring my grandma here and we've been coming for a few months now. If you have elderly, bring them here. They treat my grandma with so much care being that she has a walker and is pretty frail. They always make sure she's comfortable. They have a wide selection of colors. If you are looking for nail art, I suggest splurging at a specialty nail artist who uses GelX and not acrylic. If you're complaining about nail art coming here, that's on you. Nail places normally don't have employees who specialize in that and that's not their fault even if they try to give you the crazy art you want. Pay people for what they are worth and art on a tiny surface is and should be expensive. Don't get mad at a hole in the wall nail place for not giving you your crazy request. Other than that, they're lovely. Highly suggest. Not the cheapest by any means but they need to make a living too! Be courteous to workers. read more

Got my nails done for the first time here and Julie was great ! She really took her time to really ask the questions necessary to know what I wanted.i previously had acrylics and i wanted a break from them and needed to protect my nails from breaking really bad and I got a dipped manicure and she took her time doing the manicure making sure that my nails were prepared right. And they made my nails very hard and have lasted. I honestly don't really want to go back to my acrylics nails that I had for 8 years or so. read more

Got a gel mani, regular pedi, and callus removal for $48. Both of my nail techs did such a great job!! Took their time and really made sure my nails looked good. I appreciate the little things such as inspecting my nails after being under the light for gel and fixing my pink toe after it got stuck on my sandal Decided to come back after months of trying different salons, and I am so impressed!! I didn't get their names but I believe Tom did my acrylics and Helen did my pedicure. Both did an amazing job, still pay great attention to detail which I love. I got my nails done with Vicky a few times. The first time I came with her I explained how I wanted…read moreto grow out my natural nails so I can just do a hard gel top and not use gel-x. When I grew out my nails while using gel-x I asked for the forming gel so I it could give my nails a more curved shape so they wouldn't be so flat and she mentioned she didn't have the proper gel type for it. However, I later found out that it was doable with the gel she had and I felt like she just didn't want to put in the effort or material she had towards giving me what I wanted. She seemed frustrated and annoyed because she noticed I saw her work was very uneven and sloppy and when she gave me the filler to fix it myself, I filled a top portion that had a huge bump. She thought I was gonna file the side and she got upset I I filled off the top portion. I went to her one last time and stopped going since I wasn't getting the results I was looking for. She does great work if your specifically looking for her style of nails, as seen in her pics. What's upsetting is that when I asked and showed her what I was looking for from when I first booked, she confirmed it was something she would be able to do. I was extremely overcharged for the work she did and I would have preferred if she just told me she wasn't able to do the work I was requesting. This was my personal experience with Vicky.

I've had the pleasure of being able to consistently go to Vicky for the past few months now I like simple and classy which she's been able to accomplish each and every time since I pretty much leave the color and design up to her now that she knows what I like. Another major plus for me is that I'm very rough with my hands but the way she puts gel on stays on with no chips or breaks. She was definitely worth the wait! I just periodically hit her up to see if she had any openings or cancellations and when she did I rushed over and got to see what she was all about! And boy!!!! Was I impressed! PROS -SANITARY!!! (sooooo sanitary and clean) -listens to what you want and like -her work is perfection -so many colors and options to choose from -place is intimate and nicely kept -customer service is impeccable CONS -not really a con, it's because she's that much in demand but you need to book way ahead to make sure you claim your spot

Came in today for a gel X take off and new set and Anne was great! She was sweet & super friendly!!…read more(: She did such a great job and in under like 50 mins (that's a plus because my past nail shops took over 1.5 hours to do my nails). I just moved to the area and came across this place on Yelp and so glad I did! I'll definitely be back! (:

No point in making an appt. Made 2 for 4 pm (called at 11 am) one got taken right away. The nail…read moretech that was going to do my nails was giving an annoyed vibe and at the 4:15 mark I told them I don't want my nails done anymore. She didn't finish this girls til awhile after that. Frustration is don't make a reservation if you're going to make us wait. If we were 15 min let alone 10 min late to an appt we would be turned away. Then all the other workers decide to give attitude and talk under their breathe. I said no on principle. Mind you one had the nerve to say "she still has awhile for her (my friend) nails to be done" she was done at 4:40...haha Not worth it. Edit since you can't reply - her response is laughable. No one told me who was going to be doing my nails til 4:10. In that time I could observe that tech doing the girls nails next to me who seemed annoyed with her. Regardless, appointments aren't taken serious as 2 people walked in after us and they were started right away. Just poor time management. Had someone initially communicated the delay, it would have been fine, but to think on a busy day you're going to have your customer sit there without any communication is laughable. Hence why I cancelled services. Also, friend was done 15 min after the tech was done doing that girls nails, so she would have had to wait over 30+ min for me. No thanks. Just accept the mess up and move on. My issue is the lack of communication and making it seem like it's my bad for your mistake. Do better for those that attempt your salon again. ***also, my friend had to go back into the shop to have her nail fixed by another tech right after, forgot to mention this...but okay***

The guy that was doing the nails had just finished up with one girl and he was able to take me within less than 10 minutes. It was great! Also, he's an absolute smoke show!
