I never leave reviews but I had to leave one here since the one on Google keep getting taken down. I by far am not the kind of person to try to impact a business reputation but they left me with leaving no stars if I could and with 4 visits because the powder dip that was used would not stay on. Not only did the paint keep chipping off by simply washing my hands or opening a bag but also chipped my natural nails and left bleeding today because how thin they filed down my natural nails. I have worked so hard to manage them and now I have to start over. I have uneven nails because that two last times I went they didn't bother to shape them out. I asked for coffin shape and also asked for a French tip with this color and she did it her way. Almost felt disrespectful. If these ladies are left having to work with cheap powder dip I understand because they don't supply these products but when I went back the third time she told me they have a second powder dip so when this happened they use the stronger one? Why not use the better quality dip in the first place? But even the "better quality" didn't do much. I highly don't recommend this place for good quality service. read more

SO happy with their services ***first visit** I called in for an appointment and I was told to come in an hour. As promised they seen me when I arrived, Lisa did my nails. Lisa did an amazing job! Also they were extremely professional by not participating in a long internal conversation, in a language we all do not understand. So far...... so good! Nope. I have made the mistake of giving this place my money twice now. The first time was a mess but I figured, shit- I'm a mess pretty often, everyone deserves a second chance, maybe they were having an off day. The ladies are fine, nice, whatever but ultimately I'm paying for a whole service. My friends are nice and could probably paint my nails just as well for free. I go to a nail salon to pay a "professional" to do a professional job. For my second chance try, I came as a walk in. **I chose to walk in because the first time I tried this place, I called and asked if they had time for 2 people to come for mani pedis to which they said yes. This was in fact not the case. We sat for 30 minutes before they started on only one of us. They did my daughters mani pedi then were going to start mine. Hers took an hour. She's 5. When the girl came to do mine I said, sorry- there's no way my 5 y/o is going to sit here for another hour while I get my nails done. This experience was supposed to be a nice mom and daughter experience but just was not** Back to today as a walk in. I asked if they could take me for just a gel manicure and regular pedicure. They said yes *shocker* the lady shows me to my seat. she begins my pedicure, mind you, I did no add ons, no extra massage nothing. 45 minutes later she finished and then was going to have me move to a table to do my nails. I chose to skip my manicure as I looked down at my toes and realized I had already been there almost an hour. Pedicure was 35 bucks. I still tipped her 5 because shits rough these days but there's definitely no chance I will ever go back here. It's all bad. read more

I was looking for a place to get my nails done before graduation and since I couldn't get into my fave nail place because I was in Whittier, I stumbled upon Fancy Nails & Spa since it's around the corner from my brother's house. I walked in and was seated right away, there was only one gentleman getting a pedicure this particular day. The ladies were really nice and friendly. I told them I wanted a gel manicure and they handed me a few palettes of color to choose from. Everything was going well but I noticed that when they painted my nails that they leave a tremendous gap between the cuticle and the color, making it appear as if I needed a new manicure. I pointed it out and she fixed some of the nails but not all. Not only that but once the curing had finished I noticed that the diamond shine wasn't so shiny at all. I was in a rush and so I just paid the $20 and left. Was kinda disappointed to see a gel manicure look just like a regular polish. Yes the price is cheaper than other places but the gel manicure isn't what others offer. So why the 3 stars? Well they did an awesome prep and hand massage which I really enjoyed, just the polish was not up to par. Will I be back, definitely not. I will just wait and hit my usual spot. read more

Came here on a Tuesday afternoon as a walk in. No other customers were there when I arrived so I got seated and attended to right away. Overall, a pretty good experience. The massage chair that I was sitting in was not working and no one acknowledged it. That is one of the big reasons I love getting my nails done. It is just a chair, but it helps me relax. The ladies that worked on me were very kind and talked to me a bit. My pedicure was great. As I always have a ton of calluses on my feet, she worked extremely hard on them and I have never been so happy. She really did an awesome job and my feet feel awesome. I got a fill with gel and a new nail put one (one of them had broken). The lady working on my hands was pretty meticulous when it came to prepping but not so much after. I'm at home now and still finding little pieces of acrylic around my nails and even needing to file them a bit so that my acrylic isn't sticking to my skin. Overall, a decent experience. The ladies in there are very sweet. For everything, it cost $55. $28 pedicure (they have a menu you can choose from) $15 for gel polish and $12 for the fill. read more

Wow I guess you didn't want this customer to return! I was driving around and decided to stop and get a Mani/Pedi. Or a least that's what I thought I wanted at the time. Yeah I decided to get acrylic on top of my nails with the pink gel polish. Big Mistake! My nails looked thick, uneven and there was glue underneath my nails. Honestly it looked like I did them myself. I was so upset and embarrassed. I know it was my fault for changing my mind. Not sure if I'll be back Oh yeah while I was inside some kids were outside throwing a football in the parking lot. Really???? Where in the hell are their parents? It was a busy Saturday and i was walk-in. They accommodated me very quickly which i appreciated a lot. I just needed a fill for my acrylic nails. They turned out okay. I felt like they turned out a little sloppy. The staff was very nice to their returning customers, they greeted them by name and started a conversation with them. They seemed very indifferent towards me. I felt like i had bothered them by being a walk in. Lastly i was sitting there waiting for my nails to dry, and one of the ladies said "you can leave now." Probably the WORST place to come to!! Especially if you have your kids with you. They are very unprofessional, they talk about you and think you don't know what they're saying and they're so rude to kids!! My so. Was sitting in there chair and made him get up and they told him he couldn't have water! Insane man It's so outdated and they don't do the best job on your nails, they don't take the time on your nails. Lisa, the owner is the one who is rude. This is why so many of her customers have stopped going and are it going to return. I have been coming here fire years and I live it. They are really kind, and fast. Their prices are also a lot better then most places. However, they aren't always consistent and depending on who you get you may not like your gel or acrylics. Make sure you are specific with what you want and you should be fine. Also, just as you would with any other place be sure to inspect your nails and let them know if you aren't satisfied. They will fix them if you don't like them. read more

I'm only giving this nail salon 3 stars because they have great massage chairs and a pretty good color selection. I got a manicure and pedicure here and both were done pretty half ass (excuse my language). My finger nails were painted so poorly, the lady doing them didn't even paint my nail completely, you could see my clear nail on both sides of my fingers. My pedicure was the opposite, the lady used so much polish it was super thick and I had polish on my skin which she didn't even clean. I nicely asked her to clean it up and she only did one toe. The lady doing my manicure was very rough and picked off a lot of skin on my fingers/cuticles and she kept squeezing my arm when she wanted me to do something but would never ask me.
