I went here for the first time yesterday. The shop is so cute. Everyone was so nice. I was offered cold water which was so very nice. John did my nails, he was so nice, so professional and he was so very detailed with his work. I love my nails and I will definitely be back. 10/10 I definitely recommend this nail shop read more

A Hidden Gem on Whittier Blvd! Glamorous Nails is located in a small, 5-business shopping center right off Whittier Blvd it's easy to miss if you're flying by, but it is a fantastic location! It is a little on the pricier side, but the quality makes it worth every penny. I highly recommend booking with a gentleman named John (I believe his real name is Chau, which I thought was a great name). He was absolutely AMAZING! He is incredibly precise and pays attention to every single little detail. While I didn't get a hand massage like some other salons offer, the quality of his work completely makes up for it. I walked out with a truly glamorous set of nails. Thank you, John/Chau! I will definitely be back. read more

Came into Glamorous Nail Spa with my wife and had a great experience from start to finish. Jenny took care of her nails and did an incredible job. She was very professional, patient, and paid close attention to every detail. My wife can be pretty particular about how she likes her nails, and Jenny exceeded expectations. The shape, design, and overall finish came out super clean and exactly how she wanted. On top of that, Jenny made the whole experience relaxing and enjoyable with her friendly attitude. If you're coming here, definitely ask for Jenny--you won't be disappointed. We'll for sure be back! read more

Staff was friendly, this was my first time at this salon I was getting a new set of Gel X I asked for coffin, and she gave me square when I told her it was the wrong shape. She tried correcting them with a nail file, but she left them looking wonky and the one on my ring finger is crooked read more

area is clean but was disappointed with the hidden prices at checkout; example: gel is $15 more on there menu bar and the lady aswell said $15 but at checkout is $15 something adding on taxes and fees, so every add on is adding additional charges which was never brought up. FASLE ADVERTISED I ended up paying almost $80 for a gel pedicure when other places only charge $40-55 very disappointed had high hopes and was let down and over priced NOT WORTH IT read more

Technicians are lethargic, not sure if it is Sunday. One tech made one nail bleed cuz she cut too deep. Credit card has surcharge which I did not know upfront. Hmmm I usually like bright nail salons but I sure about this one. read more

Came here for a much needed pedicure. The lady helping me was good not great. She recommended the second package for my pedicure but I went with the basic one. She was good didn't not hurt me at all. The place is well lit and they are welcoming. I think many customers (ladies) are not accustom to seeing a lot of guys there by themselves. They have some sort of rewards program which I didn't sign up for. I would visit this place again if I'm in the area. read more

I've been getting my lashes done by Hana for a very long time now. I've tried finding other locations closer to home but I continue coming back because she's the best. I don't lose lashes in the process! I've also had my nails done here and I love them!! I recommend this place, it's clean, the staff is friendly and the price is good. read more

Enjoyed my medi/pedi this morning at Glamorous Nail Spa in Whittier! Excellent Professional Service! My gal helped me pick the exact color that I wanted, the perfect fall burgundy red. Quality of product is consistent every time. ...and of course the relaxing vibe in the massage chair is wonderful. Thank you Tammy read more

I walked in on a very busy holiday and my daughter and I are able to come in within 30 minutes. I like the final results so i'll list my pros and cons. I noticed that they were gloves, re reused them- a bit concerning. i was convinced to add a spa manicure for the massaging but when it was time, the massaging was very fast and rough on my arms and neck. Very uncomfortable as she asked if I was enjoying LOL.. Lastly, my foot massage was nice but..when the callous scrubbing time came, I think I lost a layer of my skin cause scrubbed it so hard it burned. So I am conflicted, I love the result but the process was uncomfortable. I rated high cause im coming back but Im going to be very clear when something hurts! read more

I came here and I made an appointment through this app. My appointment was at 9:30. They were late. They didn't open up until 945 when I got there, I waited 10 minutes before they started on me. What's the use of having an appointment , that lady" Sandy did my toenails and she keeps on changing the price on me very rude. Poor customer service. I will never come back to this place again. She did a terrible job. She kept on telling me five dollars then $10 this she just keeps on upping the prices on everything but I do have to say the lady that did my nails my full set. She was very nice so I gave her a big tip. This is how you gonna lose your customers. You can't keep on changing the prices on somebody else comes in. It's cheaper but yeah, very bad customer service. I will never come back to this place again. Sandy needs an attitude adjustment. read more

I have been here several times and have had different experiences. They haven't been the worse, but definitely haven't always been the best. Even then, I still gave the salon a chance because the experiences haven't been terrible...until today. Today, at about 2pm, I walked in to get a fill on my acrylics which I got almost 2 weeks ago...I walked in and there were 2 ladies sitting at the furthest pedicure chairs, one was visibly asleep. I checked in and waited for about 5 minutes as the other woman was on her phone watching videos or something. Soon after, she nodded off and she also fell asleep! Instead, I walked out and headed to another nearby salon. I was in disbelief--to not be acknowledged and see two employees asleep was crazy! I really liked this place because of its location, but this experience was not pleasant. read more

Cindy did my pedicure pretty good and I would give her another try. I would rate her a 3.7 on the scale of 1 to 5 and 5 being the highest. She was pleasant and helpful. However Tracy, well that's another story...she did a below average job and she was NOT pleasant. I would rate her a 2 on a scale of 1 to 5 and 5 being highest. She was rushing me and did NOT provide me with a good customer service experience. I would rate 3 stars but Tracy ruined that...... UPDATE: my gel nails did not last a week....generally my experience at other nail salons, my gel nails last an entire 2 to 3 weeks, so this is a 1st. Unacceptable because gel nails cost a premium for the benefit of lasting at least 2 weeks. Also, the polish on my tools started chipping and didn't last. Generally toe polish last longer naturally because one is not washing their feet throughout the day like the hands, but NOPE, this was not the case. I'm thinking the polish was no good. Either way I want go back to Glamorous Nail Spa as the quality was poor and I paid $120 for a gel mani and regular pedicure. It just wasn't worth it. I'm sure I can find a nail salons in Whittier that used higher quality polish and experienced top notch nail techs or maybe I need to go to Downey. read more

As a mom with a newborn, it can be so challenging to make appointments and stick to it, so sometimes you have to stop in whenever you can. I called and made an appointment on the way to the shop, and was able to come in right away. I booked it for an acrylic full set with gel polish. This next part I thought about not being honest about because I didn't want to upset anyone, but the results were not what I asked for. I had to rush out to pick up my son and I could not address any of the issues. There were a few things that were wrong and after taking a closer look, I had to call back to correct the manicure. The owner was able to book me for another appointment and review the mistakes. He was able to deliver on the results I was looking for and what impressed me the most was that he took the time to teach the initial nail tech on how to correct these in the future. Ask for an acrylic or gel x full set with gel polish. You'll need a nude base and French mani for the color. Add a top layer of a sheer white polish "Funny Bunny" over the French for a more milky, natural look. Thank you so much to the Glamorous Nails team - I'm looking forward to coming back in the future! read more

This salon cares more for quantity over quality Beware of going in on Thursdays afternoons. 1 person doing nails and taking calls. Service was pretty bad. Came here for the first time and I had an amazing experience! They just opened and everything is so new and beautiful! Walked in and check in on an iPad--there was no wait and when I was seated I noticed how comfortable the new massage chairs were. The services are competitively priced and my nail technician took so much time with me. My nails were in rough shape but she took her time and made them come back to life especially my toes! I bought the cheapest package and added the callous removal. The massage was only 3 minutes (goes up to 7 minutes in the next package) I wish the massage was a little longer but that's okay. To remove my gel Polish they had my hands soak in alcohol with a nice hand warmer (nice touch!). Overall, I'll definitely be back! read more
