It is a little on the pricier side, but the quality makes it worth every penny. I highly recommend booking with a gentleman named John (I believe his real name is Chau, which I thought was a great name). He was absolutely AMAZING! He is incredibly precise and pays attention to every single little detail. While I didn't get a hand massage like some other salons offer, the quality of his work completely makes up for it. She was very professional, patient, and paid close attention to every detail. My wife can be pretty particular about how she likes her nails, and Jenny exceeded expectations. Came here for a much needed pedicure. The lady helping me was good not great. She recommended the second package for my pedicure but I went with the basic one. She was good didn't not hurt me at all. The place is well lit and they are welcoming. I think many customers (ladies) are not accustom to seeing a lot of guys there by themselves. I walked in on a very busy holiday and my daughter and I are able to come in within 30 minutes. I like the final results so i'll list my pros and cons. I noticed that they were gloves, re reused them- a bit concerning. i was convinced to add a spa manicure for the massaging but when it was time, the massaging was very fast and rough on my arms and neck. Very uncomfortable as she asked if I was enjoying LOL.. Lastly, my foot massage was nice but..when the callous scrubbing time came, I think I lost a layer of my skin cause scrubbed it so hard it burned. So I am conflicted, I love the result but the process was uncomfortable. I rated high cause im coming back but Im going to be very clear when something hurts! read more

I came here and I made an appointment through this app. My appointment was at 9:30. They were late. They didn't open up until 945 when I got there, I waited 10 minutes before they started on me. What's the use of having an appointment , that lady" Sandy did my toenails and she keeps on changing the price on me very rude. Poor customer service. I will never come back to this place again. She did a terrible job. She kept on telling me five dollars then $10 this she just keeps on upping the prices on everything but I do have to say the lady that did my nails my full set. She was very nice so I gave her a big tip. This is how you gonna lose your customers. You can't keep on changing the prices on somebody else comes in. It's cheaper but yeah, very bad customer service. I will never come back to this place again. Sandy needs an attitude adjustment. read more

I have been here several times and have had different experiences. They haven't been the worse, but definitely haven't always been the best. Even then, I still gave the salon a chance because the experiences haven't been terrible...until today. Today, at about 2pm, I walked in to get a fill on my acrylics which I got almost 2 weeks ago...I walked in and there were 2 ladies sitting at the furthest pedicure chairs, one was visibly asleep. I checked in and waited for about 5 minutes as the other woman was on her phone watching videos or something. Soon after, she nodded off and she also fell asleep! Instead, I walked out and headed to another nearby salon. I was in disbelief--to not be acknowledged and see two employees asleep was crazy! Cindy did my pedicure pretty good and I would give her another try. I would rate her a 3.7 on the scale of 1 to 5 and 5 being the highest. She was pleasant and helpful. However Tracy, well that's another story...she did a below average job and she was NOT pleasant. I would rate her a 2 on a scale of 1 to 5 and 5 being highest. She was rushing me and did NOT provide me with a good customer service experience. I would rate 3 stars but Tracy ruined that...... UPDATE: my gel nails did not last a week....generally my experience at other nail salons, my gel nails last an entire 2 to 3 weeks, so this is a 1st. Unacceptable because gel nails cost a premium for the benefit of lasting at least 2 weeks. Also, the polish on my tools started chipping and didn't last. Generally toe polish last longer naturally because one is not washing their feet throughout the day like the hands, but NOPE, this was not the case. I'm thinking the polish was no good. Either way I want go back to Glamorous Nail Spa as the quality was poor and I paid $120 for a gel mani and regular pedicure. It just wasn't worth it. I'm sure I can find a nail salons in Whittier that used higher quality polish and experienced top notch nail techs or maybe I need to go to Downey. read more

As a mom with a newborn, it can be so challenging to make appointments and stick to it, so sometimes you have to stop in whenever you can. I called and made an appointment on the way to the shop, and was able to come in right away. I booked it for an acrylic full set with gel polish. This next part I thought about not being honest about because I didn't want to upset anyone, but the results were not what I asked for. I had to rush out to pick up my son and I could not address any of the issues. There were a few things that were wrong and after taking a closer look, I had to call back to correct the manicure. The owner was able to book me for another appointment and review the mistakes. He was able to deliver on the results I was looking for and what impressed me the most was that he took the time to teach the initial nail tech on how to correct these in the future. Ask for an acrylic or gel x full set with gel polish. You'll need a nude base and French mani for the color. Add a top layer of a sheer white polish "Funny Bunny" over the French for a more milky, natural look. The music is always calming, they have two tv's on, one showing game shows, and the other funny fails. You can watch and enjoy without needing the sound. Walked in and check in on an iPad--there was no wait and when I was seated I noticed how comfortable the new massage chairs were. The services are competitively priced and my nail technician took so much time with me. My nails were in rough shape but she took her time and made them come back to life especially my toes! I bought the cheapest package and added the callous removal. The massage was only 3 minutes (goes up to 7 minutes in the next package) I wish the massage was a little longer but that's okay. To remove my gel Polish they had my hands soak in alcohol with a nice hand warmer (nice touch!). Overall, I'll definitely be back! read more
