So non shedding is gonna be key. Was looking for a place to checkout while my little sister did a tour at Biola down the road. Walked in at 10:10 and told them I wanted a gel mani and they got me seated right away. I showed the first Lady a picture of the half moon design I wanted and she waved for the other girl to come and handle to request. I'm glad to say that she did an AMAZING job. I had some bling added on and she was pretty meticulous after I told her I needed this to last because I work with weights all day long at a gym. After an hour of her hard work. I truly believe these ladies are artists. I watched in awe as she expertly created each nail. She kept making sure I liked the design and I'm so pleased with how it turned out. I was ready to pay $50 or so because I thought they might charge extra for the time they spent. But when she told me $30 I was stoked and left her a $10 tip for her hard work. If I lived in the area is definitely be back! read more

First time here for a regular mani and pedi, and they took me in right away even though I didn't have an appointment! I had a gel manicure previously and asked for them to remove it with acetone instead of sanding, since another salon had damaged my nails that way. Anabelle listened to my concerns and was so gentle and attentive, she made sure my nails looked pretty and healthy. I really appreciated the care and detail she put into her work. I'll definitely be coming back! read more

DO NOT come here. Disappointed is an understatement. My nails didn't even last a week!!! Literally lasted 5 days until one nail completely popped off... Usually my nails last AT LEAST 4 weeks when I've gone to any other nail salon. The man who did my nails was rude and seemed like he had no idea what he was doing. He cut me numerous times and applied way too much acrylic. Most of my nails were left crooked, different lengths, and super thick and bumpy. I'm never coming back here again. I absolutely love coming here because the owner Annabelle is so friendly and talkative. Typically I go into a nail salon and want to sit in silence, but here I truly enjoy her conversation and she clearly cares about her clients and remembers you too. Her sister Lisa does a GREAT job for eyebrows and will only go to her, and she recently hired a new guy by the name of Andy, and his manicures are AMAZING. read more

Love this place! The ladies working in here are just awesome and the hospitality is great. Annabelle is my absolute favorite person. As a man with ugly man feet she is very good at taking care of my toes. I will be coming here as long as they will let me. Came in here last week and got a gel manicure and a pedicure. The owner is super sweet! My review is going to be about the older man they have working there. He was super harsh and heavy handed with my nails and completely damaged them from filing plus cut my cuticles way too much and even gave me a deeper cut that bled. He laughed about it all too, not sure if it was out of embarrassment or malice but I payed over $70 to literally be in pain and have my fingernails damaged. The gel has already peeled off too. If you come here don't let him work on you unless you want the same experience. Some people should not be doing such delicate work if they don't have the ability to be delicate and gentle. I wasn't the only customer having issues with his service while I was there, and in his defense I probably should've just told him to stop as soon as he started bending my fingers to file them. Worst manicure I've ever gotten. The pedicure was great however, but the owner was the one who did it. read more

Amazing! Went here for the first time. The service was prompt. Anabell and Mia took amazing care of me. I got a gel manicure and a pedicure, so I did the special. The last place I went to did waaay less for a higher charge. Friendly Nails and Spa includes very thorough care of the skin and make it a truly relaxing experience. The space is modest and clean. Went here for the first time yesterday after my normal place said it'd be at least an hour wait. I called here and they said they could seat us in about 20 minutes. The drive would take ten, so we told them we were on our way. Before we got there, they called back and said they were ready for us. I got a mani/pedi and I loved it. No complaints. Great work, no cutting and they listened when I asked they not make my toe nails too short. It was also significantly cheaper than most places. $16 for a standard pedicure. I upgraded and did the $45 package with the extra scrub and hot wax. I almost fell asleep in my chair. My only complaint is my friend and I didn't get to sit next to each other. After we both got our feet in water, four chairs apart, a chair opened up next to her. I know they were trying to be fast but I would have waited the literal three minute difference. It's hard to complain tho when we they let us stay passed closing to keep our hands under the drivers longer - they wanted to make sure it didn't get messed up. I will be back, for sure. read more

I thought I had found my nail place but the last couple of times I came the quality has not been good at all. I just went back Thursday and literally 4 days later all my nails chipped having to do them myself. I also noticed how all my nails are somehow not the same size even though they "filed them". They did a really thick tacky french that looked nothing like the inspo picture and somehow the prices keep increasing even though the work has been less than before. Incredibly disappointed. Won't be coming here again. read more

A friend recommend this salon since I was wanting to get a pedicure. The pro was we walked in and were greeted and seated within a few minutes on a busy Saturday afternoon. Well the good experiences stopped here unfortunately. My manicurist was friendly but I think she was ready for retirement. The entire pedicure she kept trying to bend my foot forward in an awkward fashion and feet don't bend that way! I didn't notice until I got home that she globbed on my gel polish on both big toenails. Not a great look especially since I was going out on a boat the next day and my feet were going to be seen. I survived my boat day and no one notice my ugly polish job and then this morning, I noticed the glob on one of the toenails already chipped off! Obviously the gel was old and should have been replaced. So much for wasting $33. read more

Unfortunately I won't be going back. The customer service has changed since Lee left. I have made two appointments and both times they were did not take me. The first time my husband and I made an appointment, we showed up and they didn't have any record of our appointment. The second time my daughter made the appointment... we showed up and they said the person we talked to was "off". She told us to come back 11am, we came back and again they didn't take us. I called the number on yelp and they said they were too tried to come in. I was confused on why they made the appointment if they were too tired. The workers that were at the location were rude and not accommodating at all. Their nail salon has been one our family has come to for the last 8 years... to see the customer service go down is disheartening. read more

I feel like the facility keeps up their standards, and it is very clean. To be honest, you need at least a minimum of four hours here unless you want to rush. This is a perfect spot for a relaxing solo date or hanging out with friends or just a nice pick me up. When you walk in you pay for the service you like or just the day at the spa. They'll provide you a key for the locker and some clothes for the common area. You'll have to takeoff your shoes when you walk in and wear their slippers in the locker area. When you enter, put your stuff in the locker and take off your clothes. Note that the tub area and the showers are nudity only. There are no swimsuits allowed, however, once you're in the common area like going into the salt or ice rooms, you'll be able to put on the clothes that the front desk gives you. Please note that there is no phones allowed in the tub or locker room area. The showers and locker room areas provide a lot of toiletries for you to use such as hair, dryer lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. There's also a lot of towels but be mindful of your use. I appreciated all the different rooms that they had in the common area such as the salt room, the forest room, ice room, and then just the big common area space where you can lay down. I'm probably messing some of the rooms, but I'm planning on coming back this month for some R&R time for my birthday. I'm also very grateful that they also have a small Korean restaurant within the vicinity and you can wear the clothes that they provide into the restaurant. If you don't want to go to the restaurant and aren't that hungry, there are drinks and desserts that you can buy in the common area and enjoy. I'm so happy that this place exists and I don't have to go all the way to ktown to enjoy a spa like this!

Jessica, my eyelash extension person, moved to this location in March 2015. I thought this was a typical salon, where she gets a station located inside a big salon. This place is not the case. Upon walking in, you are greeted by a small reception area and a marquee with a listing of the different tenants, and a layout of the place. I located Jessica in Suite 106 and I thought she was in a station, not an actual enclosed suite. If its your first time, get there early as its a little hard to find her suite among the maze of other suites. Her suite is self contained, and comes with a head basin, gaur stylist chair, an updright hair dryer, and a cabinet to store towels, as if she was a hair dresser. She had to provide her own flat chair so she could do eyelashes, which took up a good part of the room. The room is quiet, so you don't hear neighbors. It has its own central air, and Jessica provided shades over the window for privacy. Plenty of parking out front and I like her new location.

I told her to do deeper pressure when massaging me, and she responded with "that will cost you $5 more because deeper pressure its a "deep massage". In which I responded that I had payed for a deep pressure massage to begin with, however, she responded that what I had payed for was a swedish massage and started telling me the difference between a swedish massage and a deep massage. They try to sell you other things like hot rocks and deeper pressure for more money while you are trying to just relax. The fellow yelpers who gave this company a 5 star rating were not exaggerating, Serve the Goddess lived up to every expectation I had. Dealing with the owner, Helen, in setting up the service was very easy as she allowed me to do the majority via email (I'm hardly ever available for phone), was prompt in responding and was very laid back, which is very important for spa people! Half of the balance was required as a down which seems reasonable since they can't book other parties, and the remainder due a week or so before the event. Everything was easily invoiced, emailed over and payment was done via credit card. Now to the fun details of the party, had 15 people total for a pampering spa day, so had 4 techs: 1 for mini facials, 1 for pedi/foot massage (some girls had already done pedicures and didn't want to mess them up so Helen agreed to give an option), 1 for a neck, back & shoulder chair massage & 1 palm reader. Each of the procedures were 20 mins and the girls got to do each of the procedures so they didn't have to pick. Many of the girls commented that they were surprised that the techs didn't rush them and it allowed them to really have fun and not feel like they were just pushing people thru the procedures. I found the prices to be very reasonable and everyone had an amazing time so I recommend Serve the Goddess for any event that requires some pampering.

She was very careful with me and kept asking if the pressure was okay throughout the entire massage. I have never had such a thorough massage with such care taken with the areas I am injured. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy my experience here. I typically get my nails done near my mom's house, but I needed a manicure for my engagement shoot and I was out in the OC. I looked up places in the area and this place sounded great! I called ahead to check that walk in's were ok, and then drove the five minutes from my apartment. When I got there, it was clear that they were busy, but I was told to grab a polish for my manicure and take a seat in one of the chairs. I then waited 25 minutes before someone told me that the guy who was going to do my manicure was just finishing up. Fifteen minutes later, a guy came over and started doing my nails. He didn't attempt to make conversation, but I assume that is because he couldn't speak very good english. His rubbing was very rough and uncomfortable. Through out the manicure, the staff talked to each other in a different language, which always makes me feel unimportant. When he was putting lotion on my arm, he said something to another manicurist sitting behind him doing nothing. She came over and looked at my nails/hand/arm or whatever and they both laughed. Because I clearly did not speak the language, I have no clue what they were saying, but it becomes unprofessional when it can be perceived as these people laughing at you. Before he started to polish my nails, a woman came in that I assume he has worked with before, because he then asked someone else to take over my nails so he could go do hers. It just seemed a little unprofessional. When the woman took over to paint my nails, she took the full bottle of polish I had picked out and thinned it out with nail polish remover. I do not know the policy of how that works, but I have never seen that done to a full bottle only a bottle that is getting low. My manicure looked ok when I left, but the polish was chipped by the next morning, which usually doesn't happen with me. The other people in the place seemed to be having a wonderful time, and the other manicurists seemed to be more personable. I gave it two stars because I think my experience would have been different with a different manicurist, plus it was a great price! I wish that I could have experienced the greatness that is reviewed on here, but I didn't. I don't think I will be coming back for a second try. read more

I absolutely love this place. I have been getting acrylic nails and gel for years at different salons and have always had the same issues. Poorly done and my nails would not last more than a week or week and a half with out one chipping or falling off. I started coming to Friendly Nails a few months ago and now I will never go anywhere else. The difference I see between their service and most salons is extremely noticeable. The owner, LEE is amazing at delivering exactly what you ask for and I have had my acyrlic nails stay on literally for over a month one time when I did not have time to go in for a fill. I had a great experience here! The customer service is excellent and they really listen to what you want instead of just doing your nails their own way. They take their time and are very detailed, which makes a huge difference. My mom is very picky about her nails, and this is the only place she'll go now. She already said she plans to keep coming here for years! I love how my nails turned out, and the prices are great too. My gel manicure was only $35, and I even had a broken nail that they fixed by adding a tip and it was still only $35. If you want a place that listens to you, pays attention to detail, and has great prices, I definitely recommend this spot! read more

I love this place because of the workers. I follow Lee where ever he goes and I am excited that he was able to open his own location. I always feel welcome when I come. I can call anytime and make an appointment. Appointments are ideal because everyone that comes, comes for a reason so they make appointments. I am a nail biter and no matter how much I try, the nails never lift.... definitely a PLUS POSITIVE for me. I love that Lee will also try to fix my nails instead of automatically telling me a need a new set to get more money or to not go through the trouble of fixing them. If there is something you are not happy with, just let them know and they will correct it right away. Want a certain look or color, just show them a picture and they will knock it out of the park.
