Wow, I've been back to this location so many times. In those years, this restaurant has changed its owner, name, and chefs at least a couple times. But it's always been a dim sum place. It's.....never been the best dim sum place. Sometimes better, sometimes worse. This time was not bad. Chicken feet: Pretty good. I definitely prefer this sort of flavor and soft texture over the harder ones. It could use maybe a tad more spice though. Fen guo: Delicious, I always like these. Only complaint would be some of these fell apart a tad too easily for some reason though. Pork ribs: Good texture and flavor. Not too oily. Tofu skin roll: Quite good. Although, similar to the feet, I would've preferred just a tad more umami. Sticky rice: Ooohh, these were surprisingly nice. Not only the mushroom and meat, but even the little bit of egg. I do wish there was some fat on the meat though. Tripe: It's good. Tripe is tripe. We also had a winter melon soup that I didn't take a picture of. That was pretty good also. Aside from dim sum, a lot of their menu items are generically Chinese items. It looks more catered to Americans than I remember.

This is a new restaurant that serves dim sum all day. They sell bbq chicken, roasted duck and roasted pig in the front area. Many customers came to wait and pick what they want to take home for dinner. A very big restaurant that can seat a few 100. Lots of tables for a banquet or parties. All tables comes with an ordering pad where you can order at your leisure. We ordered three dim sums and a special noodle dish. HK Style Pineapple Bun with Butter, Black Pepper Beef Ox Tripe and Shrimp Rice Roll. The special noodle dish we ordered is Pan Fried Vermicelli with Pickled Vegetables and Beef. We got the dim sum quickly. The HK Pineapple Bun was crispy and delicious. It was my first time eating it. The tripe was tender and delicious. The shrimp rice roll was flavorful. The Vermicelli noodles that I was told after checking on it was it takes 25 to 30 minutes for the dish. I had hoped that they will of told us. We will of ordered something else. The dish came and it was filled with vegetables and vermicelli inside a fried vermicelli cover. The fried vermicelli cover was cut into 6 pieces and you open it and the vegetables came out. It was fun. The pickled vegetables was an acquired taste. Never tried it before .

This used to be Imperial Garden Restaurant and my family always go here for dim sum. How can you not love dim sum? The restaurant is spacious and they put a bbq area where people can order takeout. Quick service and good dim sum!

This place is a vibe. New restaurant by Ranch 99. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by a staff member who graciously seats you at a fancily decorated table. There is a giant screen playing video images and shows w/o audio and a separate small screen with a music video on which also is the music coming over the speakers. Lovely interior. Great service. Good food. Dim sum and full sized entrees. Cannot emphasize how fast and courteous the staff was. Perfect place to celebrate Lunar New Year or any special occasion. Support this new business and check it out!!!

We used to dine at this place a lot of times when it was called Imperial Garden. We'll, the big sign on top of the bldg still is called imperial garden, but the sign on the door and menu has changed to Heji Restaurant. They also sell bbq pork, roast pork, duck over rice or noddle, or the whole roast pork. It is located in Great Wall shopping center, Kent. Reservation: we called few days ahead for reservation, because we know it's chinese new year. Our reservation was at 5pm, barely anybody there which is perfect. Full service, it is easy to get their attention. Once it hits around 6:30 to 7pm, all the table are pretty full, kinda hard to get the servers' attention for Service. Parking: plenty of free share retail parking Restrooms: female and male restrooms Inside: Fish tank for live seafood Plenty of big round tables for big parties Big screen TV and stage Dine here for chinese lunar new year. They serve the typical Chinese food. No Peking duck FYI. We ordered: Honey walnut shrimp - big shrimp Seafood fish maw soup Salt pepper tofu - soft inside, great seasoning. Preserved vegetables with Pork belly stone pot Steam fish - very fresh, perfect, $46.99 per lb Lobster over noddle $29.99 per lb + cost of noddle $20 Sautéed string bean with xo sauce Chives shrimp dumpling - comes in 3 pcs Pan fried lamb chop w cumin - come in 6pcs It comes with their "interesting" desserts, it's kinda a rice soup but taste like chinese dried plum. None of us like it. Sorry not our expectations when it comes to desserts. We have to check our bill twice because they accidentally add alcohol on ours. No credit card fee. Awesome!

Weekday Lunch Take-out Dim sum was good to delicious. Significantly better than the restaurant it replaced (Imperial Garden). Standouts were the soup dumplings and pan fried chive and shrimp dumplings. Would 100% recommend the dim sum menu. BBQ/Roasted Meats: only tried the roasted pork and it was hard as if it was reheated too long. Seasoning seemed okay so it would be worth trying again on weekend to see if it would be fresh then. Even so probably not go-out-of-your-way-for level. Ranch 99 deli next door is better. Service: Counter takeout order/checkout was fast and attentive. Food took acceptable amount of time to prepare/package - not super fast though. Inside: Looks pretty much like any Chinese Banquet Hall. They changed the former Imperial Garden entry point so now there is a host/cashier counter/station at entry.

    Fried buns are delicious

The environment here is great, the restaurant is very clean and hygienic, the food is surprisingly delicious, the parking lot is free and very large, and the waiters are very nice here!

Sans Woks did some things very well and other not as good, but as long as you stuck with the items you like, it was an overall solid spot. New owners took over about 18 months ago and I was excited, they claimed to keep the old recipes, while adding more items to the menu. On my first visit the portion was generous and the flavor was OK. The Hot and Sour was not the same, but I liked the Orange Chicken more. However, as I returned, portions got smaller, flavor got weaker and the chef ignored my requests for more heat and more seasoning. The last couple visits the food was flat out terrible and I now refuse to return. Unless they make significant changes, I don't see them remaining open. It's a slap in the face to the name, if you are not going to honor the original restaurant, CHANGE YOUR NAME.

Off of central in Kent closer to s 277th street. There was only one young person in the place with us. Two guys working the place. The owner who catered to us, and the cook. Not sure why I never heard of this place. Owner said they have been open for 3 years now. The food came out fast. We actually ordered too much we had it for three more meals at home. I think overall the food was good. Like I was telling the owner I normally drive to Canada to get Chinese food, or San Fran for dim sum. I'm pretty hard to please. But since I like to support local, I'll bring my friends here another time for lunch. The decor was minimal but nice. From the outside it looked like it was closed, and like it was a home or doctors office. It's right next to a bikini barista. So we missed it the first time. It's a brick building. The tea was really good. The perfect amount of Chinese leaves, and it was nice and hot for a cold blistery day even if it's almost spring.

But for those in the know, Triumph Valley is really known for their dim sum menu! Off the beaten path, you have to take State Highway 167, as its just south of the large IKEA store. But definitely a culinary landmark if you are a constant diner of Chinese cuisine, and dim sum afficianado. There are only three dim sum, or dumpling lunch providers in or around the City of Renton (technically two). This is one of them, and if you are not early, it can get really crowded, especially on weekends. But the staff bravely soldiers-on with their dilligent service. The restaurant's ambiance takes advantage of its interior with strategic lighting in their dining hall. Very utilitarian, while trying to ensure a little bit of style. They also modernize the experience with electronic waiting and ordering system on portable touch screens. It actually helps the service. No paper. As for me, my focus is on the dim sum. All of my favorites are there. And, as diner of one, it was hard not to want to order everything. So, I ordered the "basics" of a dim sum lunch. One order of Shiu Mai, one order of Har Gow, and one order steamed BBQ Pork. It was pretty much all you need along with an order of tea, as well as a Diet Coke to wash it all down. There were other traditional dim sum selections, but I knew my tummy (and wallet) wouldn't absorb it all - as much as I would have liked. Steamed beancurd sheets, beef meatballs, steamed sticky rice in banana leaves... chicken feet, it was all there. The best way is to make a plan, and invite lots of freinds to make sure you can try EVERYTHING! Yes, there are other menu items, like I said, but for Dim Sum dining in Renton, this is the place!!!! I've had this spot pinned on my Google Maps for the longest time but just never had the opportunity to make the drive there. We ordered the spicy braised beef noodles and steamed dumplings to share since we weren't that hungry. The braised beef noodles BLEW ME AWAY. The broth was so rich and savory, my mom commented that it tasted better than the one at din tai fung (we are frequent visitors & I agree) and the noodles were chewy (I love thick noodles!!). The dumplings were very juicy and flavorful but nothing too special. Service was prompt and servers were really friendly. For this visit, I came in a group of 5 to celebrate Mother's Day a day early. Even with that, we had to put our name down on a waitlist, and even wait longer than usual since we did not make a reservation ahead of time through the phone. We did eventually get seated about an hour later and got a big table with the rotating glass in the middle for our family-style eating. For it being really busy and people coming in and out everywhere inside, food came out even faster! I swear it took like 15 or so minutes for all the dishes we got to arrive, and they are huge portions. - Lemon chicken: I always ask for the sauce on the side for this one. This is the only place I know of that uses chicken breast for the meat and not chicken thighs like most other Chinese restaurants do. Chicken tempura is crispy and chicken itself is juicy and really hot. Lemon sauce came on a bigger-than-expected bowl. - Mustard green and sliced pork soup: we asked for this one without the salty egg. Essentially a very clean soup with tofu, veggies, egg whites and small pieces of sliced pork. - Lotus root with fresh squid and peanut: lotus roots were a little crunchy, pretty nice dish overall with the peanuts putting their nutty mark throughout the ingredients. - Salt and pepper sole fillet: very salty but to the point where you don't need any sort of sauce. Came in very piping hot. - Ong cai/water spinach: pretty standard for most Chinese restaurants. Clean and a needed veggie among all the fried and salty dishes we got. - Singaporean style noodles: one of my favorites to get. Curry taste is prevalent, and was maybe a little too spicy for my parents to eat. - Razor clams: not a fan of these but I didn't taste any sand grains when I had a bite, so this was cleaned very well. - Lamb pot: lamb was a little touch to chew, and the fried tofu skins carried a lot more flavor for some reason. This was a humongous meal and we were all very satisfied! From other visits we were considering getting their slow cooked herb soup for this visit but it would be $16 per person so we did pass on it. That being said, dishes here are priced reasonably, and portions are really huge. Highly recommend here for a great meal for large parties!
