The name alone is worth giving this old time, family owned business a try. The menu was simple, the prices fantastic, & our breakfast was good. Service was fast & friendly. If you're looking for a simple, affordable meal make sure to give Heffer's Kountry Cafe a try.

Britches Buster Breakfast $10 FEAST: 2 eggs, sausage patties, hash browns, sausage and gravy and an extra biscuit! OMG

Hadn't been here in a while and was IMPRESSED with how much better it's become. It's now a popular spot that I had to wait 10 minutes for a table, but it was worth it. There's ample wait seating and a pet store worth exploring. Highly recommend the Britches Buster Breakfast FEAST for $10! I had 2 eggs, crispy hash browns, sausage patties, biscuits and gravy and another biscuit. Wow! It was really tasty and hit my cravings for a BIG country breakfast. Service is chaotic but professional and efficient teamwork. It should also be noted that the kitchen staff here is not only talented, but also read the tickets even when slammed, so you actually GET what you ordered! Portions and prices are generous where you can afford to treat a friend. This is an honest and simple place with hearty plates, so don't expect any nonsense fancy decaf, lattes or any regular fresh fruit or squeezed juices/smoothies. You can go down the street and pay double for them. My new casual breakfast place find!

This place was recommended to us by the locals. We were not disappointed. This little restaurant is a GEM! Family owned & operated, the staff was friendly & very attentive. Such a chill vibe. So relaxing. Maybe some of the best dang coffee I've ever had. The cups are big & the wait staff is constantly buzzing around with fresh pots. We ordered the turkey club w/fries & the biscuit & gravy. The Turkey club was fantastic! The biscuit & gravy was truly just mid. We will definitely be back while in the Daytona area.

Great food, good sized portions and the staff kept the hot coffee coming. I am writing this a few weeks past our visit, but the two eggs, bacon (my choice of meat) hash browns, toast and pancakes were delicious. We did not leave wanting. Ambiance was that of a diner/kitchen. Great place if you're looking for breakfast/brunch.

Corned beef hash, hash brown casserole, eggs and toast

Found this place through a random review. We had to wait a few minutes cause it was Saturday morning during biketoberfest, and it was absolutely worth it. We started with coffee that comes in giant cups, steaming hot, and was delicious. We shared the corned beef hash with hasbrown casserole (you HAVE to try it!). Absolutely stellar food, great portions, in a really comfortable environment. All told we were in for $17 and change. It was so good we took her parents and sister back the next morning! Definitely recommend and will visit again.

This was our third time here. We live locally and are always on the look-out for our regular breakfast spots. The first time we came was just after the opening of restaurants after COVID, so a lot of restrictions still in place. Food was good, service nice, great value for the price. The decor is all about cows, and the ambience was that of a local crowd meeting spot. The second time we came we thought we probably wouldn't be back. The Husby ordered pork chops and eggs, and I ordered the ribeye steak and eggs special. The pork chops had freezer burn and were so hard you couldn't cut them even with the steak knife. My steak was also pretty tough as well. They did apologize about the pork chops, but still. Recently, I had an appointment one morning close by, and we just wanted something to eat so we thought, "why not?" Again, service was great, very friendly. I went with the donut French toast, the Husby had the banana French toast with a side of eggs and bacon. Good food. Filling. Again, great value for the price. Will we be back, probably...

Loved everything about this sweet little place! From the happy decor to the super service! It was on a wait the entire time we were there, but you would never have known it given the friendly servers and speed of the kitchen! We tried several different dishes and some sides, and everything was delicious! It's a little hidden, but don't miss it! Clean, friendly, parking is easy....just a great visit overall!

Awesome family restaurant with great food and always a smile. Want to feel like family? I suggest Heffer's. We go there EVERY weekend for breakfast. Never regretted it and now treated like family from all. Can't say enough.

I forgot to take a photo of the food but this is such a cute quaint little brunch place! The staff is very friendly and the vibe is cute, it's cow themed. The food was good, I ordered the britches breaker and shared with my mother, it was only $9. The food was a GREAT price and the quality was on par for a breakfast spot.

Breakfast was great. Lots of food for the price. Definitely a place stop and eat, better than a chain and less money.

Solid diner with great service, great food, and at a very good value. I've eaten breakfast at both locations and I would recommend both.

Ambience - Rather good on Friday at 5-6pm. Some happy tables toasting and enjoying. A few singles…read moreand couples at the bar, seemed to be regulars. Service - possibly too much! :-) We happened to be seated at the end of the bar and every time a server passed us, they checked on us, tried to collect servingware (some of which was awaiting use) and asked if we needed anything. They were friendly and welcoming, not pushy. Tip: We heard a server describing flights to a nearby table. We had not been told of these. There was a $12 mystery flight with either 3 reds or 3 whites. There was a premium 3 taste red flight at $18. I am using the word taste loosely here as we were advised each taste in the flight is 1/2 glass. Everyone was happy to let us taste any wines that were open. The premium flight included a higher end version of the wine we got by the bottle (Mendoza Malbec) which the proprietress proactively offered us. Judging by that alone, the premium flight would have been worth the price. All wines by the glass were $7 or $15. On to the food and menu: The menu is a nice size and has offerings that would appeal to many palates and appetites. We tried the Crab Remick and the Grazing Board MKT ($20). We were there a year ago when the transition from "Better Days" to the "vine" was still in process. I liked the old menu a little better, but that's a matter of taste. The crab cakes and pasta choices are not on the menu now. (There is mac and cheese) For a scratch kitchen it is strange to me that they don't have any bread. In fact, I question whether they make the crostini. These crostini are small, cracker-sized, and have garlic flavoring. The actual crackers are clearly not made in house (see my photo). I looked at the photo of the French onion soup to see what bread is in there and I could not tell. But here is the thing, coming from Northern CA, having bread, preferably sourdough, to go with your cheese and wine is a key part of the experience for me. I think the Bistro is missing a couple big opportunities here. The first is to offer fresh bread with both the wine tasting menu and the brunch. And the other one is to get SF sourdough starter and use that for a unique and special attraction. Last time we were here, we got the meatball sliders and we really liked those. BTW, they offer tablets that have the menu, including photos, and wines, if you like to access the information that way.
