It has all my favorite things in one bite - salmon, truffle, and REAL crab, not that imitation stuff. The presentation is also beautiful. The roll is placed on a nice green leaf, set on a bed of tiny branches, in a bowl filled with ice, garnished with tiny sprouts. It was also very filling. This is probably my new favorite thing! Heemo is one of my favorite sushi spots in Orange, and they have multiple locations! I love dining in or taking my food to-go, and their food is always fresh, delicious and consistently good. I always get their salmon sushi, seared with Cajun pepper, and their udon combo. The rice-to-salmon ratio is perfect, and the Cajun pepper on the seared salmon adds the perfect amount of flavor. When I'm craving both noodles and sushi, I'll get the udon combo with a spicy tuna roll. The spicy tuna is always fresh and has just the right amount of heat. Heemo is consistently delicious, fresh and quick, with plenty of indoor seating and a super clean dining area. The staff is always friendly and attentive whenever I dine in, which makes the experience even better. Food is delicious & price is reasonable. Service was quick & attentive. My daughter wants to come here for her birthday (her favorite place). We ordered Double Baked Salmon ($16), Caliente ($18). Caliente is my daughter's absolute favorite. She will order this plate every single time we go. Sunkist ($16) Double Albacore ($16) Popcorn crawfish ($8). All were excellent except Popcorn Crawfish (mostly just the fried batters) After we finished our food, the birthday celebration begins. Light was dimmed, up beats birthday song on the speaker. The waitresses came to our table to give the bday girl a build in lighted paper flower crown to wear on her head while clapping & singing a birthday song. They also brought a plate of Green Tea flavor fried mochi ice cream with candle. The Mochi ice cream was so so good & it's free. It was so special. What a nice surprise! There is something about Heemo Sushi that I really like. I think it has to do with the fact that I enjoy every dish they have to offer. Some places have great sashimi, while other places have great rolls. Heemo has both. But that is not all. Their small plates are so delicious as well! We came for dinner last night as a party of 3. Been a while since I have been here. Nice and friendly faces as soon as you walk in. Our server Adriane was super sweet. She suggested I try a roll called '4 Corner Roll' and it was really good! This is the most unassuming hidden gem! Needed some late night food (around 9) so a friend took me to Heemo for the first time - they were open until 11 which I love as a late eater. Wait time was only 15 minutes and everyone was so friendly. Quick service with drinks and food - and a huge variety to order from. We got the DHK, Tustin, Ninja, and So Hot and each of them were seriously melt in your mouth good. The Tustin was surprisingly fresh and light. The salmon was spectacular! Presentation presentation presentation, this place knows how to make rolls look SO GOOD... and not only that, the size of the rolls were ginormous! I was really impressed with the combination of flavors in a lot of these rolls, specifically the Texas roll which had the salsa on top. I'm not one for Cajun styled sushi and even though this is a little different than that I really enjoyed the mix of the fresh fish and roll with the sweet Asian fusion salsa. The spicy garlic edamame is actually spicy so be cautious for those sensitive! The employees were attentive and gave great service to my party, we were all very impressed for most of us being our first time here.
