I am a huge wing fan, and I was excited to finally have an opportunity to get wings from somewhere so highly rated. We got 22 wings (10 mild, 12 hot), fries, ranch, and bleu cheese. The wings were all pretty disappointing. Tiny little things, only lightly sauced, and lots of gristle. The drums were pretty much inedible with how little meat was on them. The bleu cheese was pretty obviously out of a salad dressing bottle - it was a thin liquid, with no chunks of cheese at all. The fries, though, were absolutely spot on. Best wings I've had in the germantown area besides Paisanos. It's really hard to find good wings here. Wings are not breaded but fried to be nice and crispy. Tried the hot buffalo, honey mustard and lemon pepper. All were very good. Fries are just ok, weren't as crispy as I would like. Overall, for the price, this place is awesome. I usually go for the #2 combo which is 10 wings and fries and I rotate between half lemon pepper and old bay or half lemon pepper and hot. They taste great, and are always fresh, like way better than BWW and are super affordable ($7.99 for a 10 piece combo) is. Also, the service here is great too. All I can say is, WOW! These wings are by far some of the best if not THE BEST wings in DC. I was in town for the Holidays and craved some good wings for a football game on TV. Found this place on Yelp, and decided to give em a try. I called in an order 50 wings and picked them up from a small food truck next to the Exxon. The one man manning the station must've been the Master Chef and driver, and man can he cook up some DAMN good wings. We got medium to play it safe, and man did it pay off. They had the perfect kick of heat, but amazing taste. They were perfectly crunchy on the outside, but juicy on the inside. It was shame that as a family we couldn't finish off all 50, because for this price it was definitely a STEAL. Only $34 for 50? Most restaurants are charging $1 per wing for sub-par wings, but these are just phenomenal wings for a very LOW price. Final thoughts: These wings are amazing, some of the best I've ever had. These easily beat Wingstop, B Dubs, and probably any place that sells wings in DC. I can not believe how cheap these wings were, and every last wing was perfection. I honestly felt god awful not being able to leave a tip because the credit machine doesn't allow tips, so PLEASE BRING CASH. The reviews seemed good, plus there was a long wait so was expecting the wings would be worth the wait but unfortunately we were really disappointed. we got jerk, lemon pepper, mambo and honey sriracha. The flavor of lemon pepper was good but all other were just blah. It seemed that the wings had not been marinated and the the flavors had not penetrated inside the meat. This is a review on service since I did not get an opportunity to try their wings. As you may or may not know, this is a food truck usually in the lot of the Exxon from what I understand. I showed up at 5PM after watching an episode of bar rescue, which gave me a craving for wings. So I went to Yelp to check out the reviews, and this place was pretty favorable. However, upon arrival there is no truck! So I called the number, and it immediately went to voicemail. On the voicemail was a message stating that they are currently taking orders and to call back or text. It also stated that their hours were from 11am to 11pm Monday - Sunday. I went to their website just in case they had switched locations since the last review, but it turned out that I was at the correct place. I sent a text approximately 45 mins ago, and no answer. Suffice it to say, I am now at Paisano's, who was mentioned in one of the Heavenly Wings review. If this is "Heavenly" service, then I'd hate to experience anything less! My advice- try calling first prior to going, or go to a bricks and mortar operation with great reviews! read more

The price is right at Heavenly Wings! I was very impressed with the variety of their sauces and the price of the combos. The two times I ate there I tried four different sauces (honey sriracha, bbq, mambo, and hot). The size of the wings were good but they could have used more sauce on them. I felt like I would have enjoyed licking my fingers if more sauce was on the wings. I also would have liked more sides of dressing for larger combos of wings and not just one and more dressing in the side cup. All in all I would eat here again because the service was fast, friendly, and the price is right. They have the potential to be my number one wing spot. read more

She gave us a sample of the medium sauce to taste and it was pretty spicy, so we got the mild, but after frying it wasn't that spicy. So next time we'll get the medium.
