A fucking bug
Alayna P.

There was a fucking bug in my ketchup. Their chicken tasted like fish because their grease hasnt been changed in who knows how long. Gave us less wings than we ordered and paid for, charges an extra 4$ for a small amount of fries and a canned soda when the menu clearly states "16 oz fountain drink". They had cups, lids, and straws and the fountain was still accessible and working. Food wasnt even good.

Hot wings combo

*****3.5 stars***** Service was excellent, with workers being extremely friendly and knowledgeable, so rounding up to four stars. Ordered two 10 piece wing combos and 4 piece chicken tenders. Wings were meaty and crispy. For the flavors (they have over 20!), decided on hot (wet sauce) and lemon pepper (dry rub). Between the two flavors, I enjoyed the lemon pepper more. The hot (3 peppers on their menu) wasn't spicy at all, but more on the mild side. Next time I'll give nuclear (4 peppers on their menu) a try. I would have also liked the wings to be saucier, so would spend the extra $0.50 next time around. The lemon pepper wings had good flavor to them. Citrusy and not too salty. I just wish the wings were more evenly coated as some parts of the chicken tasted just like plain chicken. Again, I would spend extra for more sauce next time. The fries that came with the wings were okay. Could have used a sprinkle of salt on them. The chicken tenders were huge! They were fried nicely and their home made batter was well seasoned. Besides chicken, America's Best Wings also offers subs, burgers, wraps, seafood (fish and shrimp), and salads. To go menu stated one price, but I was charged another (slightly less than advertised). Menu also stated they only accept Visa and Mastercard, but I was able to pay with my AMEX. This location is more of an order and go as no seating was available. Parking is plentiful in their large lot.

Okra

Okra was trash. I don't know why they would charge someone for burnt crumbs. Very disappointing.

Bland needs major seasonings

Not good if you like flavor. I got fried chicken and fries big mistake. Neither item has salt or pepper so thy both taste like nothing. I do like that my food is not greasy but this has to be the most bland flavor I've ever had. The cook needs to really be introduced to salt, per, and seasonings They have over 30 wing flavors and they did not have the flavor I wanted unfortunately so I went with fried chicken. My only issue as far as the 30 flavors that some of the names are made up and when I asked what it exactly was - the cashier looked at me crazy and gave me one word descriptions as if I should know what "moon dust" would be. I recommend that they make descriptions that someone can look at if it's such a bother to describe. Also both cashiers need some enthusiasm- myself and another lady were brand new customers and the service was lack luster. I felt like it was like watching teeth getting pulled for them to answer questions. I don't know if it was a bad day for both or this is how they interact with customers in general. I'm willing to try a flavored wing but I'll never order just fried food from them again- I had to add my own salt for flavor

Lemon pepper and 24 Karat

Sometimes Wingstop and Buffalo Wild Wings just don't cut it. Give this new wing spot a GO! I tried the 24K and lemon pepper, both of which were delicious. They have 15+ flavors and it takes about 10 minutes to prepare your order. Bonus: I was really impressed with their customer service. Really nice folks!

If you want some good heat, get their Nuclear and Ghost pepper Mix. The chicken is great and fries are bomb that comes with the combo.

Pretty good food and price. Only thing I don't like is there's nowhere to eat in the restaurant. + they have a cool sign.

Every bite was fantastic from the rolls, to the entrees (the table ordered crab cakes, beef back…read moreribs & salmon). The dessert was good enough (flourless chocolate waffle), but next time that bread pudding will be the choice. Brian, our server was decent, but the rest of the young staff's inclination to check up behind each other was the real gem. Great job by a great crew in general. Love the location! A great space to leisurely walk off dinner if you have the time. Definitely would return.

Quick note- not a full review. For those seeking a…read moretraditional Maine lobster roll, please note the lobster roll served here is DIFFERENT. Yes, it's still a tasty bite, yet it's well worth studying the menu to understand ingredients and roll presentation to avoid disappointment. My previous review of this place remains unchanged- Coastal Flats is a reliable source of quality seafood dining. A bit expensive imo, but ok for business expense accounts and special events- like having a lobster roll craving. FYI- it's reasonably possible to make your own lobster roll at home with little effort and a better traditional result and price. Buy frozen lobster meat ( tail and claw) from a good source like Cameron's Seafood. No cooking or picking needed. Season and butter to taste while gently warming, and serve in a toasted (or not) split hot dog roll. Yeah, you can add Old Bay, but that is not for everyone. Keep it pure and simple.

My wife and I were in the area with and just happened to find this place through Yelp. We liked…read morethe photos and we haven't had really great southern food recently. When we arrived we were warmly greeted. The menu was expansive so we ordered a lot. The food was delicious. My wife said this was the best place she has eaten at since we've moved to the area. I enjoyed and it reminded me of being home. The Catfish was super crispy and well seasoned. The wife enjoyed the ribs and fried corn. The sides met the high standards of the kids especially the Mac and cheese. I would like to also highlight the variety of deserts that the cheesecakes and apple cobbler were to die for. Some of the beta southern food and I can't wait to go back.

Wow! The bbq here is spectacular! Today I ordered the half slab of ribs with a side of Mac and…read morecheese and I didn't want to put it down. The ribs are tender and each bite is packed with the flavor. They're slathered with sauce which may be off putting to some. For me, it was that perfectly fine balance between enough and flooded. Oh and the portion size? Amazing! Definitely enough to get full for dinner. Pass out for a minute then finish the rest the next day. The Mac and cheese was great. No, these aren't hand made noodles but the amount of cheese, the seasoning, evening l everything else was done expertly. If you want to save yourself an hour or two of cooking mac and cheese at home, get it here. The atmosphere here is very home cooking. It doesn't feel like it's some massive cookie cutter operation. It's nostalgic. This is what comfort food is supposed to taste like. Eating it made me think about fun times with the family back in Florida. While I made the order online, I was greeted as soon as I walked up to the counter. My order was done exactly when it said it would be done and was made with my additional request. I couldn't it be happier and look forward to many more orders and glad to have this place in the neighborhood.

Hot Pot Hero in Germantown is definitely a great place for hot pot lovers! From the convenient…read morelocation to the fresh ingredients, excellent variety, and friendly service, there's so much to appreciate about this restaurant! First of all, the location is very convenient, and parking is incredibly easy to find! That's always a big plus, especially when you're going out for dinner with family or friends. Nobody wants to spend 15 minutes driving around looking for parking before enjoying a meal! The food quality is excellent! Everything tastes incredibly fresh, and there are so many different ingredients to choose from. Whether you enjoy meat, seafood, vegetables, or other traditional hot pot ingredients, there are plenty of options to satisfy everyone's preferences. I especially appreciate the wide selection of soup bases! There are so many different flavors to choose from, and they taste fresh and well-prepared. Having a good variety of soup bases makes the hot pot experience even more enjoyable because everyone can find something they like. The staff members are also incredibly friendly, attentive, and efficient! One thing I particularly appreciate is how quickly they clear away empty plates. Anyone who regularly eats hot pot knows how quickly plates can pile up on the table! The staff here do a wonderful job keeping everything clean and organized throughout the meal, so you can comfortably continue enjoying your food without feeling crowded by empty dishes. Another highlight is the impressive sauce station! There are so many different sauces and condiments available, allowing you to create your own combinations according to your personal taste. I love restaurants that offer plenty of choices rather than limiting customers to just a few basic sauces. And now, let's talk about something I REALLY appreciate here -- THE DESSERTS! Of course, they have ice cream, which is always a nice way to finish a hot pot meal. But what makes Hot Pot Hero special is that they also offer clear jelly and herbal jelly! I absolutely love this! Most hot pot restaurants in the area seem to offer only ice cream for dessert, so having these traditional Asian-style jelly desserts is such a refreshing and thoughtful addition. The clear jelly is light and refreshing, while the herbal jelly offers a completely different flavor and texture. Both are wonderful choices after enjoying a hot, flavorful meal. It's such a small detail, but it really makes Hot Pot Hero stand out from other hot pot restaurants in the area! I genuinely appreciate that they offer something different instead of just the usual ice cream selection. I really hope they continue keeping these desserts available! The overall dining experience is very enjoyable. Between the fresh ingredients, wide selection of soup bases, customizable sauces, efficient service, and unique desserts, this restaurant has a lot to offer. What makes a good hot pot restaurant isn't just the amount of food available. It's the freshness of the ingredients, the variety of choices, the attentiveness of the staff, and those little extra touches that make the experience memorable. Hot Pot Hero Germantown does a wonderful job bringing all of these things together! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and enjoyable hot pot experience in the Germantown area. Keep up the wonderful work! And please, PLEASE keep the clear jelly and herbal jelly! They're such a special touch and one of my favorite things about this place!

We went for dinner and not sure if it's cause we went later in the evening but it wasn't very crowded and didn't have to wait for a table. You order everything on a tablet and they bring it out to you. I got the pork bone broth and would recommend that one. There are plenty of meat, seafood and veggie options. Highly recommend ordering the ribeye if you eat beef! I was disappointed that they were sold out of few items - one being enoki mushrooms cause I feel like that's a popular choice when it comes to hot pot. And the lady who gave me the check pulled up the wrong order on the machine for me when I paid. I'm glad I looked at the final receipt because the order I paid for was more than ours. She ended up refunding the difference but only of the base price. Overall, a solid place to get some comfort hot pot :)
