My family and I have gone here since BEFORE I was born. There are other Kenny's in MD but I don't think they're connected. But by far this is the best one in MD! It's such a great price for five huge wings and fried rice. The wings are the 3 connected whole piece so it has the drum, flat, and little wing. The pieces are also usually big. I love their fried rice and mumbo sauce is a must have. Service is quick too! Placed my order of THREE orders of five wings w/ fried rice (15 wings in total) and it was done in less than 10 minutes. I highly recommend and so does my family. My brother has gotten all of his friends hooked on this place. The same workers are there since we started going but I do think they might have switched management at some point. Overall recommend and I crave this all the time! This is the only chicken that I think still tastes good a day old for leftovers!

Yesterday was probably the worse day of my life! I've ordered from Kenny's many times over the years and never had complaints. I LOVE shrimp & broccoli! Ordered from them Saturday and a few weeks ago the same thing, large shrimp & broccoli. Ordered the same exact thing yesterday and was highly disappointed. The broccoli and shrimp looked over cooked and were too soft but I was like whatever, maybe they used a different cook. So, I'm like 75% through the meal when I notice something black in the sauce over the rice. I was like maybe it's the little vein from the shrimp. So, I go to pluck it out and it's a dead freaking fly! At this point I'm sick!! Like so sick! I call the restaurant and she's like bring it back for a new one, ummm, no sis!! I'm NEVER ordering from there again!!

So when it comes to chicken wings and fries this place has it and is definitely on my top 5 list for chicken wings and fries with the Mumbo sauce!! You can't go wrong, the wings are always fresh and crispy as well as the fries nicely salted, and just a very good deal, you can get 5wings and fries for about for $8 and it's a lot of food. Great deal.

Plastic (bag) in the Beef Chow Fun
    Eddie D.

Sad to say the quality of their food been going down the gutter (literally). Last visit I got a simple Beef Chow Fun, the beef was hard, chow fun was hard and stuck together. The worst part, found a piece of plastic (bag) in the order. Totally unacceptable. The quality was so bad I can't eat it, ended up in the garbage.

Gave us a cheesesteak without cheese and charged us when we asked for extra cheese. Raw eggroll wrapper. The quality definitely depleted after Covid.

The best thing to order is an egg roll. Very friendly staff. Perfect date vibes if you order and eat in your car.

Think overall, the restaurant probably sat around 50 people. I was recently reminded of the spot from an Instagram reel, and realized that I have been here a couple years ago. The noodles themselves are made from scratch and you can actually depending on why you should sometimes see them tossing stretching and throwing the noodles, which is always fun. I ordered the Lanzhou noodles which was good and creamy/gravy like. It is not for everyone which are waitress warned us about, but it is their traditional style. I didn't think it was that bad but the veggies were definitely a lot softer, and it was interesting to try. I next time probably follow the recommendation of the waitress and go with the oil spill bowl or soup. Some of these noodles come with already pre-set type of noodle like the Lanzhou but some of these suits you can choose the noodle that goes in like the beef noodle soup. You can choose a wide noodle or a dinner noodle or a regular type or extra wide. My friend ordered the oil spill one and that one was definitely a bit more flavorful than mine. Definitely trust your waitress she knows what is typically good. Another friend tried the spicy lamb sandwich, which was quite similar to Xian famous foods. Spicy in those flavor and a little kick. As for our greens, we ordered a side of cucumbers that were smashed in flavored a little bit, I think it could've used a little more salt or maybe take out a little bit more of the moisture before seasoning so that the cucumbers can take on more of the flavor. Overall, great place to go; was a little sad though we didn't have any piano performances, but it definitely was starting to get a little bit more crowded and lively around seven on a Sunday

History of Present Indulgence:…read more Couple presents with friend for brunch outside of DC. Ukrainian food is not commonly found in DC area unlike NYC where we all lived before. That alone reeled us in. Physical Exam: Food - The Borscht was delicious and savory -- a classic, strong start. The Varenyky (pierogi's Ukrainian cousin) comes in four options and we opted for potato and short rib, and both were amazing. Also generously filled. With Eastern European food, I've always got a soft spot for a stuffed cabbage dishes, and the Meat Holubtsi did not disappoint. Next, the Deruny presented crispy and potatoey -- very similar dish to latkes. And because it was brunch, we got into the crepes: the Nalysnyky with chicken, onion, and mushroom was super good. Across the board, everything came back well within delicious limits. Ambiance - We were seated outdoors on a gorgeous day and there was nice sunshine and a light breeze. Honestly it was so beautiful. Service - Kind and attentive the whole way through. Appropriate bedside manner. Assessment: A thoroughly enjoyable Ukrainian brunch, and a great find given how rarely this cuisine turns up around here. (Since then I found out there's one in DC itself!) Every dish we ordered delivered on its promised, the service was lovely, and setting was nice. No adverse findings. Plan: - Go. Highly recommend. - Order a spread and share to get the most of the variety. - Follow up to evaluate dessert, such as Honey Cake.

The servers speak Cantonese, which was a good sign. We ordered food and a couple plates arrived within 5 minutes (!!) which was insanely fast. I think we got all of our dishes within 10 minutes of ordering. I'm not sure how they whipped it up so quickly. CHICKEN & CORN SOUP - 9.95 We got two orders of this since there were six of us, and each person was able to enjoy almost two bowls of the soup. This was more like egg drop soup at an American Chinese restaurant with some bits of corn and chicken. You really can't call this "chicken & corn" soup. There was lots of cornstarch to give a thick texture. Overall, it's not bad but I think most people can make a better chicken & corn soup at home. BARBECUE PLATTER (3 SELECTIONS) - 21.95 +bbq pork +bbq crispy pork +bbq roasted duck The bbq was fine, nothing to write home about. The bbq pork was vibrantly red, but flavor was a bit bland. The bbq crispy pork wasn't very crispy, but it had a good ratio of skin, fat, and meat. The bbq roasted duck was just fatty. SEAFOOD CHOW FUN - 14.95 Instead of the wavy egg noodles, the server recommended the flat rice noodles (hor fun) because she said it was better. There was a good amount of vegetables and seafood. Aesthetically, it looked delicious. It wasn't too oily, which is good, but it was pretty bland and lacked the "wok hay" flavor... Almost like they just lightly sauteed it on a pan. SAUTEED CHINESE BROCCOLI W GARLIC - 13.95 The texture was nice and crunchy, but again, very bland and no "wok hay" flavor. I ate it for health. EGGPLANT WITH GARLIC SAUCE - 11.95 The eggplant was incredibly saucy and flavorful, definitely the best dish we got. It was soft, tender, and creamy which went well with the garlic sauce. Our entire table agreed this was our favorite. KINGDOM PORK CHOP - 15.95 The sauce was a dark red and very thick. We knew without trying that it was going to be too overpowering and sweet. Indeed it was. Out of everything we ordered, this was definitely our least favorite because it was borderline inedible. I had high hopes since someone recommended New Village as one of the best Cantonese restaurants in the area, but it ended up being pretty mediocre. Like another review had mentioned, most dishes felt flat since the flavors lacked the "wok hay" depth we were looking for. The pricing was very good though since we paid less than $21 per person after tax and tip, and we had enough leftovers for at least two more meals.

Food came out as it was ready. The teas were ok, the Passionfruit was the best. The soup dumplings were disappointing. You can't avoid them breaking but there was hardly any meat, was lukewarm, and mostly fat. The Tiger Signature and Pork Chive dumplings were better, but not too much flavor. The amount of filling in there were ok. The Shu Mai and the Crystal Shrimp Dumplings were solid, not too bad at all. The Cucumber were refreshing and also a little spicy. The Scallion Pancakes were fine, nothing special. Food was ok overall. The staff is nice but it seems that they were a little slammed despite the restaurant not being too full.
