"Blood's thicker than the mud It's a family affair" (Sly and the Family Stone) The thing that first struck me when the five of us walked into Hearth Pizzeria was the number of families and children having lunch there. We were no exception, inasmuch as we had two children in our party. Our lunch order included a Kid's meal cheese pizza with a side of broccoli and a chocolate milk ($12), a kid's meal mac and cheese with a side of broccoli and a regular milk ($12), a medium BBQ chicken pizza ($20), a medium sausage, onion and pepper pizza ($20), and a full sized antipasti salad ($15). The salad was excellent with mixed greens, red onion, roasted pepper, artichoke hearts, salami, turkey breast (and a lot of it), pepperoni, and a roasted shallot vinaigrette. Zero complaints here. I had a few slices of the BBQ chicken pizza and I loved it. It included a house-made BBQ sauce, roasted chicken, charred red peppers, a mozzarella blend, shaved red onions, and fresh-cut scallions. The BBQ sauce was strong and pretty zippy, but that was perfect for my taste. Our lunch for 5 ran $98.75 after tax and tip. Hearth is a pretty nice place with a deep menu that includes salads, pastas, lots of pizzas, appetizers, sandwiches, soups, wraps, calzones and desserts.

The food was excellent, I had their baked Mac n cheese, 10/10. The service was quick and kind. The ambiance is great. We went on a Thursday. Not over packed but not abandoned. Perfect

good crust and sauce but super stingy about cheese. I even ordered extra cheese and its only on 25% of the pie.

Overpriced, under staffed, slow. We were there today at lunch. They had ONE person working the entire place. Unreal.

The chicken for your salad is inedible. Service (especially for lunch) is incredibly slow. Pizza is good and salads are fresh.

Perfectly whipped with the right amount of butter. Get them!! Everything on the menu looked so good it was hard to choose: - crab cakes had a really nice crust on the outside but I wasn't a fan of the shredded crab/stuffing inside. Lump crab would be so much better - we split the mussels which had a flavorful sauce and came with 2 pieces of dense grilled bread - calamari was okay - Love that they do half/full orders for the house made pastas. Shrimp limoncello was the standout out Love the decor and murals on the wall with the cool lighting and outdoor seating - high tops in the bar/low in the restaurant area - booths around the walls Lots of shared parking in Linden Square but it's usually pretty full.

I decided to give it a try since it was only nine minutes away from where I was. When I walked in my child and I were immediately sat, and my child was provided a kids menu. Coming from a big city like Las Vegas, this little wine store is what you hope to find when you come to New England. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of flashy stores and wine bars with enomatic wine systems and tasting credit cards, but it's nice to walk into a shop that looks like someone's HOUSE from the outside. Space is a little cramped but the shelves are filled with gems priced under $20. Yes, there's certainly pricier bottles but I wasn't in the market for that this day. The interior is invitingly merchandised and you'll find a fair selection of cheeses for a small place like this. Instead of the expected one bottle I walked in to purchase, I bought four. I had a chance to meet the proprietors and they were gracious and helpful and so was their staff. They have wine tasting classes and free wine tastings on Fridays from 5:30 to 7:30. Server was nice but you could tell they were understaffed that night and sat too many tables at once. Once we sat done down and given water it took a while before our server appeared. The pacing was off and there were long periods between our order and apps, entree, and dessert. - bread service: kind of expensive ($13) for 5 pieces of bread and a dollop of each dipping sauce. Try just bread and butter for $6 - cornbread: delicious but small portion for $14. Also not a fan of the cutting board presentation - kids Mac and cheese: very cheesy ($12) - tiger shrimp risotto: ($34) good flavor but risotto was underdone - fried chicken: ($30) so crispy and cooked perfectly but had an odd spice in there like cinnamon? The star was the fried green tomatoes and the buttermilk ranch! Perfectly fried and crunchy while the tomatoes stayed firm and a very tasty ranch dressing! - dessert: warm cow sugar cookies were nice and warm sitting in butterscotch pudding, very cute! - the toffee in the butterscotch pudding ($11) was super crunchy, wish there were more cubes mixed in - warm chocolate brownie ($15) was missing the creme anglaise? Or the splatter of it was very small? I liked the open kitchen, high ceilings and farm2table concept but be prepared to spend $$$. Some street parking available and metered lot across the street.
