We also somehow got our wires crossed - and she thought she was only doing one massage - so I didn't get a massage at all - but the birthday boy thoroughly enjoyed his massage and I got a complimentary knee stretch. Also - she did offer to come back out later today to perform my massage but I had a scheduling conflict. No stars lost for that. I found Ginger to be professional, with good technique and she's former military (both Marines and Air Force) - so you KNOW I'm gonna be a fan / supporter. She offered a vegan, all natural lotion or a eucalyptus oil and she brought that Zen-type Massage music, along with a sturdy, well made table (supports up to 400 lbs which is vital if you're going to do PNF stretch or Thai Yoga type exercises). I pretty much exclusively get foot massages because I have severe psoriasis and I'm really self conscious. The massage therapists here are extremely understanding of my health issues and my decreased mobility over the years. They always make it comfortable and welcoming for me and are mindful of my autoimmune flareups. Some days I can't move properly, have zero mobility in my hands, and they accommodate me and help me move a bit better. Some days I scratch myself silly and it looks like terrifying, but they still help me find peace by putting the lotion on my calves and loosen up the muscles. I always add CBD (additional $10) but it helps calm my skin down a lot and it's great for my rheumatoid arthritis flareups. The quality and care Spring Massage delivers is comparable to those of high end "spas" without the hefty price tag. The prices are more than reasonable, their massage therapists are incredibly skilled and are willing to listen to your needs. I overheard another customer who came here for a pregnancy massage, and she had a few special requests. The owners listened and made sure they understood her completely before setting her up with a massage therapist. It was a $100. I told her I wanted to tip $20 and she looked at it like I was trying to give her a counterfeit bill because it was folded. But she didn't even know how to properly check. No pen, no holding it to the light. She refused to take it and made me tip via card, this forcing the 3% fee on me. It gave me a bad prejudice vibe, especially being a black woman. You know people tend to treat us in their community. I won't be back nor will i recommend.
