Absolutely do not come here for CoolSculpting…read more I paid approximately $3,000 for CoolSculpting here and have been deeply unhappy with both the results and my experience with the business. I felt strongly pressured into moving forward with the procedure, including being repeatedly contacted and pushed to put down a deposit and schedule treatment. Looking back, I feel the sales process was predatory, especially given the amount of money involved. The treatment itself did not produce the results I was expecting. In fact, over the years I began noticing that the areas treated, particularly my stomach, seemed increasingly resistant to weight loss and appeared more swollen even when I was losing weight elsewhere. I now suspect I may have developed paradoxical adipose hyperplasia (PAH), a known potential complication of CoolSculpting, and I am going to see a doctor to have this evaluated. I want to be clear that I have not yet received a medical diagnosis, so I am not claiming that CoolSculpting definitively caused what I am experiencing. However, this is a serious enough concern that I now have to seek medical evaluation and potentially treatment years after the procedure. Because CoolSculpting is an elective cosmetic procedure, I also expect that the medical evaluation and any treatment related to a potential complication may have to come out of my own pocket rather than being covered by insurance. That means I could end up paying significantly more money to address a problem I believe may have resulted from a procedure I already paid thousands of dollars for. When I contacted the business about a refund, I was told that too much time had passed and that I had not returned for my three-month "follow-up." My understanding at the time was that this appointment was related to potential additional treatment, rather than being presented to me as a formal evaluation of whether I was satisfied with my original results. I was already unhappy with the results and did not want to feel pressured into spending even more money. I was also told that complications such as PAH were extremely rare. I now know that it is a recognized complication of CoolSculpting, which has made me question how the risks were communicated to me before I agreed to the procedure. I regret spending approximately $3,000 on this treatment, especially given the possibility that I may now have additional medical expenses to determine what is happening and how to address it. I am sharing my experience because I would want to know this before spending thousands of dollars on an elective procedure. Do your research, understand the potential risks, and make sure you fully understand what follow-up appointments actually involve before committing to treatment.

I've been getting laser treatments on my armpits and a Brazilian, and I was so nervous to start the Brazilian process because I wasn't sure it would be effective. Sureeta, however, made me feel completely at ease throughout the experience, which isn't exactly pleasant. Trust me, it gets less painful with each session, so hang in there! One thing that stands out is how clean and well-maintained the clinic is--it immediately puts you at ease and reassures you about the process. The results have been amazing: my armpit hair is completely gone, and the Brazilian area is nearly hair-free--I think one more session will do the trick. It's worth noting that this is a long process; treatments are done monthly, so patience is key. But honestly, I wish I'd done this years ago because not having to shave is a game-changer! Not only do they excel at laser hair removal, but they also offer eyebrow threading--and they do an excellent job! It's a great option for keeping your brows looking sharp. A tip for newcomers: they have great Groupon deals, but if you call or visit them directly, they'll honor the same pricing. That's a nice little perk.

During both of my sessions, I was never given laser safety eyewear. When I asked about eye protection, staff told me it wasn't necessary because the machine is "3D." After my second session, I researched the device. The "3D" in Soprano Titanium refers to its three wavelengths (755nm / 810nm / 1064nm) -- it has nothing to do with eye safety. In fact, the 1064nm wavelength can reach the retina, and the manufacturer specifies laser-rated eye protection for patients as standard. Every reputable clinic provides it. This one didn't, and worse, gave me a made-up explanation when I asked. If a facility cuts corners on something as basic as eye protection -- and confidently gives customers false safety information -- I can't trust anything else about their safety practices: machine settings, maintenance, staff training, any of it. I cancelled my remaining 4 sessions. I couldn't get a refund through Groupon and had to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Do your research. Your eyes don't grow back.

I was supposed to have an appointment today but realized this morning that I hadn't gotten any confirmation from them, so I called to make sure I was still on the schedule before heading over. They told me "my" doctor, a person I had not met before, had left the practice and they would not have the capacity to reschedule me. They offered to give me the number of another clinic that they're offloading patients to. They claimed I should have received a letter and a text that my appointment was cancelled. I never got a letter, and when I went back and looked, the text I received did not actually indicate to me that the person leaving the practice was my doctor. It just said that a doctor was leaving the practice and IF you happened to have an upcoming appointment with that doctor, you should call to reschedule. Needless to say, the writing has been on the wall for awhile that this is not a clinic with a future for the kind of derms patient I am (maybe, as another review surmises, they are going 100% cosmetic which means less annoyance with insurance and more money per visit), and I guess I'm glad to have had them force me out as a patient so I can find a doctor who I will actually recognize from year to year. I have had truly nothing but great experiences with her and her office and would highly recommend her as a provider! I have been dealing with idiopathic urticaria (spontaneous hives) since 2009 and have seen many doctors and specialists who have never been able to find a solution. Then, a few years ago, I started having cold-induced hives as well, making it impossible for me to go out in the winter without breaking out in hives or even handle cold glasses and objects for too long. After no luck with increased antihistamine use, Dr. Kim prescribed me Xolair, which has been used experimentally for hives. It took a few weeks of her petitioning my insurance for use, but she got approval. Her and her team handled all of the back and forth and kept me updated throughout the process, and since I got on the medication, I have had no to minimal hive breakouts since. Then again this past year, when my employer-provided insurance changed, Dr. Kim and her team have continued to battle approvals for me and help me obtain samples while we sorting things out with insurance denials. Yvonne, a medical assistant on her team, has been extremely helpful and responsive, battling this for months now and keeping me informed and medicated in the meantime. Dr. Kim is the only person who has ever been able to help me with this condition, and her and her whole team have been nothing but professional, helpful and caring throughout my time as her patient.
