You have to pay when you drop off and then they are not open when their sign says. the WORST EXPERIENCE from a tailor place! they basically handed me my HUGO BOSS suit back with another blazer that wasn't mine. when I went back they told me to pick it up the next day. I went the next day and she handed me my blazer but after inspecting the blazer I really quick noticed that the lining was ripped apart as if a dog had chewed it. She refused to pay for my blazer. I got a pair of dress pants altered here, and I am going to have to take them somewhere else. I read the reviews before coming here, I was prepared for the language barrier, the lady working there was very hasty in assisting me. When I entered the building she was not wearing a mask, and she was in no rush to put one on. There was no mirror in the changing room, which was actually a supply closet with a partially covered window. She only pinned one pin in my pants before telling me she would take them in the same amount she pinned on one side. That should have been my cue to leave and take them to a different tailor. I came back today (a week later) and I was disappointed but not surprised that the fabric puckered on the side that she didn't pin. I paid $16 which is a slightly competitive rate, however now I will need to go take them to a different tailor and get them fixed. I am thankful she did not take too much fabric, and I can still have a shot at getting them fixed, thus the three stars. Would not recommend. read more

I should have known the professionalism I was dealing with from the looks of the ratings but because she was cheaper than the others I went with her anyway. Bad decision on my part. I was there to pick up my items at the time she gave me however they weren't ready and she wanted me to come back tomorrow but that wasn't possible. When it was all said and done she was ready to call the police because I refuse to pay for shabby and incomplete work. She was supposed to hem and press a pair of pants and take-in the waist on the other. I recently discovered this gem because I just moved to the Spring Valley neighborhood. Although, it's considered Spring Branch, it's literally down the street from me. Very convenient off of Westview. I'm giving it a 5 star review because the very first time I walked in, I was greeted by a very friendly Vietnamese lady. (Maybe she was extra friendly because I'm also Vietnamese? Hmmmm) She greeted me professionally, and in English. I hate it when they automatically assume to speak to you in your native language. What if I was a different nationality? Second, I dry cleaned 7 collared shirts. And the price was less than 10 bucks!!!? How do they keep operating on those prices? I mean, I'm not complaining, but wow, I'm use to dry cleaning off of Westheimer, and I never walk away without paying anything less than 25 bucks! Needless to say, I've been here several times after (I dry clean once a week) and my clothes never disappoints! I do try my best to support whatever neighborhood I currently reside in, so it's only right to give credit where credit it due. They do a phenomenal job and they also do alterations! I've used this place almost a year. A few good experiences, however, lately, this place is no good! This woman is evil, she harassed me, overcharged me, the shirt was still dirty. I dont have time to have a shirt cleaned over and over, when I told her to take her time and do it right. She even showed me on her computer, the price to clean a shirt is $2.15, but charged me $3.00. She acts insane towards me. She has her regulars that keep her busy, but they probably have simple stuff. Just avoid this one, support a worthy place! I forgot, she laughed at me and said for me to not come back. The dry cleaning is ok I guess but every time I go there the woman finds something to argue with me about Yesterday, I went to pick up some dry-cleaning for Luis. I didn't have the receipt and I asked if I would still be able to pick it up. She said she could find it by the phone number. I paid and then she brought out the clothes and I looked at the ticket and it said it for "Lucia Erpinal" instead of "Luis E...." and it had the wrong phone number. I pointed this out to her and she refunded my money and I said I would come back with the ticket. When Luis came back home, we found the ticket and sure enough it had the same wrong name and phone number on it. Luis should have checked the name and phone number but since I didn't take the clothes in it was her mistake and Luis' mistake for not checking her ticket. We decided we were not going to go back there another time after I pick up the clothes because this woman ALWAYS has some kind of reason to argue with me or Luis. When I came back with the ticket, she tried to argue with me and say that it was my mistake. I told her that it wasn't my mistake and that she is stupid and we are taking our business elsewhere and I just want to pay and get my clothes and the receipt. I never post reviews but I really felt I needed to do so in this case to warn would-be patrons of this business. I have been taking my shirts and pants there for over a year as I live nearby. Recently they washed wool dress pants which completely shrunk/ruined them. At first they maintained that the pants weren't ruined even though the dress slacks were 4-5 inches shorter than when I took them to be cleaned. When I insisted they provide some compensation for this (accidents do happen) they categorically refused. Take your clothes anywhere but here. There are several other cleaners nearby. I can't imagine your experience could be any worse at other nearby cleaners. read more
