I've been coming here for years! I've moved across town now but I still make the trip because I love them so much. Dry cleaning is always great and I've gotten several pairs of pants taken in at the waist. read more

I haven't used their service yet but I did bring some stuff by to get dry cleaned and the owner advised me she couldn't do it after reading the tags and I appreciated her honesty over just wanting to make some money. I will be taking clothes there from now on though. read more

The best cleaners and alterations. Very kind and honest. Highly recommend !! Pricing is fair and owner is super sweet and personable. read more

Be your own Boss, but you can't be the Boss of Boss Cleaners, because someone else is the boss. We only used this cleaning service once and Barbi thinks they did a good job. I'm not a good judge of cleaning services even though I paid the bill so as usual I defer to her expert judgment. Her family is in the cleaning business so she knows. read more

(This review is solely about customer service since I didn't end up being able to drop off any items.) After seeing that Boss Cleaners was one of the higher rated dry cleaning services in the area, I decided to stop by to inquire about bridal/wedding dress cleaning prior to a resale. I was greeted immediately upon walking in by a woman; unfortunately I didn't get her name. She began to take a look at my wedding dress and after asking a few questions, she quickly realized that the dress had ALOT of detail (pearls, stones, glitter on the underside, etc.). She then thoroughly explained why it would be a risky clothing item to clean and expressed her lack of comfort level in doing so. Although I wasn't able to get my dress dry cleaned here, I overly appreciated her honesty (as opposed to a disaster later!) and she informed me of some great questions to ask other cleaners as I shopped around. read more

Came here for alterations very fast and efficient! I needed a dress taken in on the sides. I Took my dress in early in the morning before the alterations lady was in for the day and the other lady there was able to take my measurements so that I didn't have to come back in later. My dress was ready by 2pm. She did amazing and apparently she created the dress in the window of the shop as well she's an amazing seamstress. Highly recommend. read more

Outstanding service! Kim was able to get Liquid Paper out of a new pair of jeans. I am thrilled!

Great customer service! I came here to get two items altered. I'm happy with the work that was done and the pricing was great, unlike another place (Saad tailor) I will definitely be back with my dry cleaning and more alterations! read more

We had been using Boss Cleaners for about 2 years, and they seemed to do an Okay job. However, we started to notice that some of the items we were getting dry cleaned started falling apart more often (e.g., buttons would fall off or we would notice a new rip). The last time I visited, I dropped off a blazer and a pair of suit pants (to have a button for the back pocket put back on). Much later that day / that night, I received a call from Boss Cleaners, with the lady saying that I brought the blazer in damaged and that any tears in the jacket were my fault and not their fault and so they just wanted me to know I was at fault. I thought I may have missed a tear, and so apologized and said that was fine. When I picked up the jacket and brought it home to inspect it - the holes in the back where nothing that I had expected, and while I do not know for sure, it seems very likely it occurred at cleaners. I wear the jacket to work, and as soon as I get there it is placed on my coatrack in the closet and isn't removed until I leave (and when I get home, I immediately hang it back up). The rips looked like the jacket had been caught on some hooks or hangers will being dragged. We were disappointed in this experience, and will not be returning (and they also did not add the button back on). read more

I needed my bridesmaid dress altered in a rush, the seamstress had it done within 30 minutes! My boyfriend also had his suit dry cleaned there and it was ready in a reasonable time. Prices were great for the services requested too! read more

Wow I had such an amazing experience here! They were so kind and helpful. I called ahead and dropped off a pair of pants to be altered. The pants were ready same day and I was very impressed with the quality of work, turn around time and price. Kudos to these service providers! I will certainly return. ‍ read more

I rarely need a tailor but the one time I did I'm so glad I found this place. I got my Halloween costume fixed and it far exceeded my expectations. She was friendly and very fast. Best of all she charged me a reasonable price and for a college student that means everything to me. read more

Love this place! Courteous, friendly, great value, good quality! Have used Boss over 10 years and have never had an issue. Not once.

They did an excellent job altering my dress. I had a beautiful sequin dress that I needed to be taken in about 4-6 inches in the bust. They took it in and shortened the straps. They did such a good job, and it fit me perfectly. If I didn't know I had gotten it altered, I would have thought the dress was made that way! The alteration was also extremely affordable. I definitely recommend. read more

Quick and fast even though it was a last minute alteration! Thank you , the pants looked great!

This place is incredible! I needed a bridesmaids dress hemmed and it was done perfectly in a short amount of time. The price is extremely reasonable and the work is great. Highly recommend. read more

My go-to dry cleaners. Fair price and nice people. I like that they take time to make conversation with you and remember you when you come back. The sign says same-day service, in by 9 and back by 5, but this is definitely not true. The clothes are always ready when they tell you they will be, though. I've been going here for a few years and they've never done me wrong. read more

Of course I waited until the last minute to get my Bridesmaids dress altered. In a last minute effort to save myself the pain of safety pinning the sides of my dress, I drove to Boss Cleaners & Alterations. I pass by there every-day and finally, I had an urgent reason to stop in. I was so lucky that when I walked in the alteration lady (Trang) was there working and was able to get me. I put it on and she pinned it and said you can pick it up by Friday...(Praise the alteration Gods, the wedding was Sunday!) I went in Friday, it was a perfect fit and the price was right too! On top of that I had somehow wrinkled it in the process of taking it to the cleaners and they were kind enough to send it out for me the day I went in to pick it up for alterations and I was able to pick it up Saturday with a perfect fit and wrinkle free just in time for the wedding! Thank you Phong, Trang & Betty! If you are looking for a fabulous cleaners at just the right price in this area, this is it. (P.S. they used to be on Woodway and moved to San Felipe, so if you used to frequent the old one on Woodway this is it, but Google tells you it is permanently closed, but they only moved locations.) read more

Professional, friendly, timely, and gracious! Everything is reasonably priced and well done. Got both dry cleaning and a zipper on my jeans fixed and very happy. Thank you! read more

Some of the cleaners in this area are way overpriced. Boss Cleaners is much more affordable, and the woman who works in there is such a pleasure to talk to. Happy to have found this place, and I definitely recommend if you live in the area. read more

The lady at the front desk was extremely polite. They did a superb dry clean job on my silk blouse. A little pricey, $4.99 for dry clean or women's blouses and $2 less for men's shirts. There is a minimum of $10 charge to use your credit card/debit, so take cash if you don't have a big order. The very sweet lady waived the fee for me this once since I had no idea about the minimum purchase card fee. I dropped my blouse off on Wednesday, it was ready by Friday. From looks of it, they also do alterations. read more

Finding good dry cleaners is like finding any smart quotes from Sarah Palin. I'm happy that Boss Cleaners is a good option close to my place. The prices are reasonable (I think $2 for laundering shirts and $4 for dry cleaning items). They do a good job and they haven't messed up my clothes once (knock on wood). The lady that runs the place always remembers you and is very friendly. I've got no complaints! read more

Being new to Houston I didn't know where to go for my cleaning needs so I searched on Yelp and found good reviews for Boss cleaners and decided to give them a try. The place was easy to find. I met Phuong and she was really nice, friendly and helpful. They offer good service, great prices and fast service. They even offer alterations. I will definitely be coming back and I feel lucky to have found this great place. Thank you Phuong and Boss Cleaners. read more

I took in a silk blouse and 2 other items to be cleaned, and the silk blouse came back damaged. I asked the woman at the front what happened and she told me that my blouse (new and never been cleaned before) came in damaged! Buttons on the front of the shirt made an impression on the back of the shirt when it was pressed on too high of a heat. I'm shocked that a dry cleaner doesn't know the appropriate way to treat different fabrics to avoid damages. On top of all of this, they charged me for the 2 other items they cleaned! When I asked to speak to someone else about this I learned the woman I was speaking with was the OWNER. I will not be going back to this, or any, Boss Cleaners. I know the other guys down the street are a little more expensive, but it's worth to make sure your clothing isn't ruined. read more

I love this place! They know my husband & me by name and they take excellent care of my husband's dry cleaning! (for a great price too!) I won't go anywhere else. read more

The owner of this place actually just reamed me out for complaining about the paper pieces stuck all over my blanket that she charged me $25 to clean. She threw a fit, said I accuse her of ruining my things all the time, which is certainly not the case. In my opinion, I am giving you business... Do your job and be thankful you're in business and refrain from talking to your paying customers like that. I've had a couple issues with my silk at this place but I've been understanding and paid her regardless. Get what you pay for I suppose. read more

I am so glad I found Boss Cleaners! The woman who owns the business is the sweetest lady and always remembers you when you walk in. Boss Cleaners on San Felipe, not a good service. I took my comforter to be washed and pressed. The day which I went to pick up, first it didn't have my name on my merchandise, Second it didn't seem clean at all, it had that dull look prior to wash and no press, and last not least, as I opened the comforter in the shop to inspect, I recognized a tear back of the comforter. Once I showed it to the cashier lady, she didn't even apologize, she was just standing like no help! My worst experience ever! read more
