Not a good place for Money Laundering, but when it comes to Clothing Laundering, this is your spot. Or really, it's not, because we probably won't be back here. We appreciated this laundry being here, but it's expensive and also ate a bunch of our money. And I mean ate. And I mean A BUNCH. LIke, they owe us ten dollars. Jerks. That was a real downside because we don't have that much money to set aside for laundry - especially not with what's going on with the virus. There's no attendant at night and they make you buy a card to access the stuff, and then all kinds of messed up stuff happened with the machine and caused us to have to spend literally about $21 instead of $11. If you take too long with your transaction then the machine will literally eat your money and keep it. And there is no way of getting it back unless there's an attendant here. I have been coming here for about 8 months now. Either it be a drop off of scrubs for work or a quick wash myself. First, I will like to speak about the atmosphere. It is super clean! Restrooms are always up to par. I've never seen lingering lint, nor trash sitting around. This surprised me as it is a laundromat that quickly accumulates lent/dust. Second, the customer service is very well respectful and rounded. I was honestly a little lost the very first time coming in as I brought a bag of quarters. The facility is conveniently ran off of a card system, meaning, you add your needed amount directly onto a Laundry card from your debit/credit card. This made me feel safe and more aware of what was being spent. My very first visit someone walked me through every step to ensure I fully understood what I was doing. This was a nice start off. I had a small issue previously, called the facility at 06:00AM (when I noticed the issue), and the owner respectfully answered. I was calling to leave a message due to the early call, but to my surprise, the owner answered and handled my minor issue immediately. Nice and friendly service. I always feel welcomed and safe. I've been meaning to update this review for sometime now, I was reminded of this a couple days ago when I had some bulk items to take care of... and wow- the cleanliness was amazing! The kind woman on site was actually mopping the sidewalk out side! Now if that's not above and beyond clean I don't know what is! Also I've noticed the employees cleaning the tops of the washers and even inside the soap dispensers which is great because in the past sometimes articles of clothing would have weird dark stains from using the washers. That hasn't been an issue in a long time! The employees are a lot more friendly nowadays and that always makes for a better experience! Also, usually the owner is on site or stopping in and checking on things which is nice. read more

I've been coming here for a few years now especially since they have big machines for comforters and such. Plenty of machines as well. It's around $3.99-$9.00 depending on the size of load. And about 60 cents for 7 minutes on the dryer, I typically can dry my loads in 14-21 so that's a steal. I felt compelled to leave a review because I've never seen the place as dirty as it was today.... There were even roaches on the wall... hopefully they get to that problem. Let me start off by saying I've been here twice and the first time I went I had no issues at all! This is my first time not having a washer or dryer and I was a little hesitant at first. Whoever washed and folded the first time did a great job. It was the second time where I ran into issues. The second time I used their wash and fold service I came home and noticed both a hoodie and a pair of leggings were ruined with HUGE BLEACH STAINS! I called and the owner made me send him pictures (to which I obliged) and he said he'd replace the sweater. I even told the owner, do not worry about the leggings (they were old), I just want to replace the hoodie. The next day, he took that back and said all he could do was offer me laundry credit the equivalent to a load of clothes...I was horrified at the fact they ruined my clothes and had little to no remorse in replacing. I responded that this was unfair, to which I got no response. What is sad, is that I was going to continue supporting this place in spite of this blip because it seemed like a really decent business with decent people. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! This location has gone so far down since last I was here about a year ago. The washing machines barely work , the dryers barely dry - you should not have to use 7 drying cycles at $.50 a cycle for 7 minutes each to dry your clothes. And the attitude of the older lady who spent a lot of time eating a sitting watching tv was offensive to say the least and why is she screaming at the poor Hispanic girl who was trying to clean a machine at the far end of the facility to come see if I actually used my card on the dryer I told her was still not drying after 4 rounds when she is literally sitting right there watching tv. And there were roaches . So over $30 for wash that usually takes $15 ... and still damp. What a shame .. go to any other laundry .. it has to better because it could not be worse. read more

I love doing my laundry at this laundry place. It's kept so clean, all dryers and washers work. They keep maintenance to an incredible degree of care. The persons working there are very polite, courteous, constantly working to maintain. It's cleanliness. Quick to assist you if there's an issue, they have all you need to make my doing my laundry a smooth and pleasant experience. I've recommended this laundry mat to family and friends and after their experience, they communicate to me how well their laundry dry needs were net with ease. Love doing my laundry here. This is by far the best laundrymat I've ever been to. Not only is the place air conditioned, cleaned hourly, and with clean restrooms, but they also have a kids play area. It's a large laundrymat, but it fills up quickly on weekends. The only downfall of this washateria is even if you select a "hot" wash, sometimes you still receive a cold one. It defeats the purpose of even having options for the water temperature! The owner and his wife frequent the laundrymat at least 2 or 3 times a day. They're all very helpful and knowledgeable. EDIT: It seems as if this washateria has had their share of high employee turnover and it's showing within their four walls, unfortunately. Better than average laundromats. Parking is ample and well lit at night. Laundromat itself is clean and very well lit. It's never too crowded. There's a laundry lounge next door to sit and watch sports or whatevers happens to be on. There are 4 different size front load washers and 2 different size dryers here. As of 9/21/2012 prices are: Washers: 675cc $7.99 640cc $3.69 630cc $2.79 620cc $1.89 Med. Dryer $0.35/ 7 minutes Lg. Absolutely convenient. Came here around midnight. I felt safe. Everyone seemed to minding their own business, families where here late with kids. Inexpensive, plenty of carts, plenty of open tables. I will say, remember to FIRST get a laundry mat gift card to load with money to use the machines. They take visa, master card, and cash. Cons: the tiles are all jacked up, so it makes the place look really run down. So a year ago i had came here and had a problem which you can find if you look for my review. today i went again which i been coming still ever since the last thing happen. today the washer just stopped out of no where saying it had a error. we closed and open the door to see if anything would work but it didn't. instead it left my clothes all stinky wet. it's frustrating because it's almost $5 just to wash on a 40 lbs washer. So my washing machine decided to break down at a bad time of year, and I had a lot built up--about 3 loads of laundry, and bed linens for two beds--when I broke down and decided to do something I haven't done since the aftermath of Hurricane Ike left us all without power and a pile of dirty clothes: I bit the bullet and hit a public laundromat. I checked Yelp for recommendations, and I decided to come here. Not a bad place! Like other reviewers have mentioned, this place is more expensive than most, but it's clean and well maintained. There are plenty of laundry carts to go around, and there's even an recreation area with video games for children. Buying the swipe card is kind of annoying, but then again, you don't have to worry about machines eating your quarters, and I imagine the owners don't have to worry about shady people wrecking the machines by using slugs instead of real coins. So there's that. The swipe card costs $.99, and you have to add at least $10 every time you replenish the swipe card with a credit card. (And I was just told by an employee that you can replenish with cash for any amount over $1). And, the swipe cards can also be used in all of the vending machines--for sodas, food, and even the machine that lets you buy laundry detergent and whatnot. Nice! The staff is pretty friendly--well, 2 out of 3 are really friendly and helpful. I have a pretty good idea as to which staff member was rude to the Yelper that gave the place one star. I'm pretty self sufficient, but I had questions when I went, because I'D NEVER BEEN BEFORE. 3rd guy wasn't overtly rude, but he was SO standoffish, and that doesn't sit well with me, especially when the other guy and the woman on duty that day were SO friendly. 3rd guy needs to just stay in the back out of sight, and they should just hire a 4th FRIENDLY person. They lose a star for Mr. Antisocial. The washing machines cost more, but they hold bigger loads. The cheapest one is $2.64 (I think) and it holds two loads, and the next one is $3.18 (holds 3 loads), and the 4 load machine costs about $4.50. That one can hold comforters with no problem. There's an even bigger washing machine, but it started at over $6, and I wasn't about that life. The dryer is done in 7 minute increments, and the cost depends on which dryer you use. I used two separate dryers that cost about $.16 per 7 minutes, so my stuff was done drying in 35 minutes. It was worth it to me. I paid a decent amount overall (just over $14) but I had a bunch of laundry to do and it was easier to just get it all done at once instead of paying way more to try and get my machine fixed or (*gulp*) replaced. I'd come back here for sure, I just hope I don't need to. read more

I needed a laundy mat to wash my over sized bed spread. This was a great find. Clean and friendly staff. It has been years..more like centuries since i needed one. You dont need cash you load a prepaid card. I put 15.00 since i knew I needed a big washer. I ended up with 2 left after using the dryer. The cleaners wanted to charge between 25 - 39 to clean it. this place does offer wash and fold. They are 24 hours so go check them out. read more

I'm new to Houston and found them with a quick Google search, because they offer drop-off service which I've done a couple of times and my clothes were returned smelling great and folded with expertise. I've never not had my own w/d so the first couple times I came I wasn't sure how everything worked but now I'm a pro. They offer free wi-fi so as a student, I usually bring my laptop and get homework done while waiting. When its cold, they provide hot chocolate, coffee, and cookies complimentary which is the sweetest gesture. I would have never expected such great service, but they continue to blow me away. I'm sure I could find another laundry-mat slightly cheaper, but I find myself WANTING to support their business. You can tell they love what they do. I'm a 22 yo female and it is very clean & safe environment. Even though it's 24/7, I've never been at super late hours. You can pay with Credit card, but just a caveat--there's a $10 min. to load your laundry card and the first time you get a laundry card there's a $1 fee. This is the first laundry facility I have been to that ALL the machines worked! No out of order signs anywhere!! It is clean, bright and has overhead fans that keep cool air circulating. I hate washing at my apartments facilities because they never work and it's not maintained well. I looked this place up on Yelp! and the reviews were definitely a reflection. I'm really satisfied that I finally found a decent laundromat that's reasonably priced. The place is clean, the machines work, there's a lounge area, and they provide laundry cards for you to use instead of coins, which you can also use to purchase any detergents and other materials as well as in the soda machines. That way, whatever money you don't use for laundry, you can still use it for a snack! The place was clean and I went on a Tuesday afternoon so it wasn't crowded. It did seem a little pricier than normal but then again I haven't been to a laundromat in a while. $3-4 for a regular load, 30lbs. Machines up to 60lbs. They have arcade games, a kids playroom, and clean bathrooms. Also incense and oils for sale. Both candy and detergent vending machines. Not too sketchy, except maybe at night. And still not bad. The employees are always really polite and helpful, and they take really good care of the clothes (using lots of good smelling detergent and separating intimates).
