I went here for a halloween costume alteration 2 years ago and was charged $80. I don't get things altered often so I thought for the complexity of the job it was a normal price. I returned recently for a hem on a dress as it was a little too long for the shoes I selected to wear with it. The customer service here isn't that great. Kind of prison guard-ish...what do you want, go in the room, come out and give me money. After I tried the dress on, I noticed the employee using something that was creating a white mark at the bottom of the dress (I assumed this is where it was being cut/sewn). I was told my total was $43. I was shocked! $43 for 2 inches?? This was a Monday, and I was advised I could pick up my dress on Friday. When I went back Friday, I was asked if I could wait a few minutes. Of course, my dress wasn't ready. I returned the following Monday and was incredibly disappointed to see remnants of the white stain at the bottom of the dress. I will not be returning here for any type of work. read more

I got great service there the two times I've gone. I don't understand the pricing at all. I had two of the same type of clothing altered in the same way. Cost me very different prices. I thought the cost was a little expensive, but how do I really know that? However, I went back because the works was perfect. I decided to just roll with the pricing because I got really great work. I needed three pairs of pants hemmed. I decided to go here because it is around the corner from my house. The first lady didn't even understand that I just wanted them hemmed. She started placing pins in random places on my pants. She then called somebody on her cell phone for me to talk to and I couldn't even understand that person. Thankfully someone eventually came in and knew what I wanted done. Well, this morning I went to pick up my pants and I was floored when she told me how much I owed. $46 to get three pairs of pants hemmed what a freaking rip off! The three pairs of pants themselves didn't even cost that much money. I definitely will not be using them for alterations moving forward. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere. I should have read the reviews before coming here. Lesson learned! read more

This tailor is right around the corner from my house so it was an obvious choice to try them out. I just needed a simple alteration; a new zipper on a pair of jeans. When I walked in, there was a line ahead of me of about 2 people. By, the time I got up to the front, the lady who had been helping everyone else just walked away and went to the back- no, "hi, give me a second", no "hello, hold on a minute", no, "I'll be right back." She just walked away in my face lol. I was the last one in line, she could've helped me quickly before she left or at least greeted me first. She sent her assistant or coworker out to help me. The problem was, when I told the lady what I needed and then asked the price, she didn't know how much it would be or how long it would take. Okkk. She took my info and said they'd call me in a WEEK. I thought that was crazy and fully expected a call within 2-3 days. But, after exactly a full week with no call, I went back in. When I got there, my jeans were ready. I have no idea how long they'd been ready or if, in fact, they would've ever called. Now for the price. I thought the lady who helped me had no idea what she was talking about when I asked how much it would be and she said, "I'm not sure, maybe $20 or $25?" I thought that was prosperous. But, can you believe it was actually $27!!?!? Twenty-seven American dollars and a week for a ONE zipper? Oh wow. The end result: the zipper they put in was fine and it works. Unfortunately, due to the time it took, the price and the service, I'll have to find a new tailor. read more

Well this was the third time I've tried this establishment. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt... But it's just every time it's been very rude. I tried different approaches to see if I could get a different response but three times I've tried them and three times I have failed - this is not someone who is trying to be out for this establishment... But I've been in customer service and retail for 25 years and I got my pants half folded on a hanger with that I don't care attitude not even a smile not even a response to a "good morning how are you this morning." The work is moderate and done in a timely fashion I just feel really bad for this establishment that they can't even up the service with a smile. read more

I have used them for alterations since they opened. They have always done great work at a reasonable price. They complete each job like it is important and make an effort to have it completed quickly. I have never walked away from this establishment unhappy with the alterations! As others have mentioned, they are not all the warmest or friendliest, but I believe it is a cultural difference and a possible language barrier. And in the end, I would rather be happy with their work then worry about how friendly they are when I walk in. I will return and I am recommending - It is worth trying them for your alterations. read more

Very RUDE!! The customer service is horrible. I brought in 4 pieces and when I went to pick them up there were only 3. Luckily I had my receipt. The lady said she did not want to look for it and had no time. I was the only person in the store! I expressed I needed the items for my trip the next day and she said she would call me!!! She didn't even try to look for it. The owner was there the entire time listening. This is not the first time they have been rude but now they are losing my clothes. They are the worst!! read more

The quality of the tailoring was certainly decent, but the rudeness and surly attitude were shocking. The resulting suit was good, but the experience of being treated with utter contempt and hostility was so unpleasant that we won't go back. read more

Wow this place has the worst customer service I have ever experienced!! I came in today to pick up my hemmed dress pants. The bell rang and no one came to the front. Another woman walked in, still no one. A third lady came in and they just yelled hello from the back. A fourth woman came in and I finally walked back there to ask if anyone would help us and they looked like they were scrambling to finish up some piece of clothing and yelled for me to go to the front. When I got my pants, the lady at the counter was very rude and just said "12.99" when she previously said it would only be 12. I was so frustrated with them I just gave it to her and left. That was the second and last time I will ever go there. To make matters worse, my pants were returned wrinkled with some mysterious stains. Poorly sewn as well. read more

BEWARE! Unethical owner!! GET DETAILED RECEIPT OF EXACTLY WHAT WORK YOUR HAVING DONE. I cleaned our closet and took many clothes there- spent $1,000 there in ONE MONTH as a new customer. I took a formal gown in- tried it on and there was some kind of oil on he floor in dressing room... Owner refused to pay for my dry cleaning of that one item- saying IT WASN'T her fault there was oil on the floor!!! UNETHICAL business to loose a new good customer over $80 cleaning bill and stick me with dealing with it all!!! Believe me - you can find a better place than this. read more

Very solid alteration work by friendly & courteous staff. Fixing shorts' waist can be tricky, their work on my Ralph Lauren's is a 10/10.
