He came over this afternoon and was able to fix it even though nobody makes or sells that part anymore. He was great about communicating by text. He kept me in the loop the perfect amount, not spamming me with courtesy stuff, but also making sure I understood everything. It was nice to chat with him, but he also didn't need much attention. I didn't have to take any time off work and it was fixed for probably less money than it would have cost me to get it towed to a repair place.

Had to find a diesel mechanic that was good, could fit us in, and wouldn't break the bank. Dependable Diesel was recommended to us by a fellow camper. Took our truck there. They diagnosed the issue as a bad DPF sensor along with finding a couple other items that would eventually cause us some issues if not addressed. Unfortunately, we only had the truck and the thought of being stranded at the shop all day waiting for my truck to be fixed was not good. Luckily, they had a loaner car that they offered to us. That was a life saver as we were about 20 miles from the shop. Needless to say, they were able to get my truck fixed in a couple of hours and were able to send us on our way. I would highly recommend them if you need your truck worked on.

My husband originally thought it was spark plugs and changed those and did not work. My brother-in-law mentioned it could be a transmission. Dropped it off and within a day, they had diagnosed the transmission having problems. They put an additive in the transmission fluid, which stopped the vibration instead of trying to sell me a whole new transmission. They can't guarantee how long it's going to last because the transmission is actually Having issues but he said it could last 100 miles or 100,000 miles.
