I needed to change the battery for my Audi A3 and called Luxury Autoworks. I asked if I could buy the battery myself and if they could install it. They said okay so I bought it from a retailer and called them back to let them know I would be coming in. They told me they could not install the battery I bought and apologized for not calling me back. I also asked them to check my right headlight because the blinker wasn't working. I got there around 2pm and didn't leave until 5pm. It took a bit long but I think it's because of the headlight issue, which I didn't end up fixing. The price to replace the battery was reasonable based on estimates I received from other shops. read more

I would highly recommend this place to anyone! It's costly to do service on luxury vehicles, but I felt that I could leave my car in a safe place, and that the technicians would care for my car as they would care for theirs at the first time of contact with this business. They were highly communicative and they went above and beyond. I had originally asked about vehicle inspection, but decided to hold off... They kindly added that onto my services and I was happily surprised. My car came back, squeaky, clean too, and the engine issues are good as of now. Really too long a story to go into but bottom line is that when you are dealing with the public, you should have some sense of good customer service. The young man that we dealt with was literally so rude that I had to push my husband out of the shop to avoid a confrontation. I don't enjoy writing negative reviews but they're lucky that's all I'm doing and not reporting them to the BBB. I came in because I replaced my tires so I wanted to get an alignment. (Note: My car is my baby and has only gone to the dealership once for maintenance. All other maintenance and upgrades have been through my mechanic brother or myself) I keep a binder full of all my invoices from parts purchased/installed, maintenance done, and any other documentation involving my car. After moving out of state and away from my mechanic, I've had a hard time trying to find a place I can trust, especially being a woman. I found a place that looked promising (not luxury) but unfortunately, they didn't have the proper equipment to accommodate my car. That shop only recommended luxury auto works because it was down the street from where they were. I spoke with Patrick and we scheduled an appointment. Fast forward, I came in for my appt, everything seemed to go smoothly. At the end when I was checking out I asked for a print out of the alignment so I can add it to my binder. Patrick told me no one ever asks for that but he'll go to the back and get it. He returned empty handed saying the equipment and printer were having some communication issues and it was not able to print. He told me he would email it to me when it go fixed. After a couple days of not hearing from him, I emailed him saying that it doesn't have to be a print out, I'd be fine with a screen shot or even a phone picture of the screen. Silence... A week goes by and I haven't heard anything. I email again asking for him to please email me on the status of my paperwork. After 2 weeks of silence I finally recieved an email stating that they were able to get the computer and printer working together but my vehicle history was lost. If I wanted a print out of the alignment I would have to come in again. I wrote back saying,"I don't have the time to go back for another alignment. It's also pointless because you would just print what it's at right now. It wouldn't have the before and after to make sure an alignment was even necessary. This all seems a little odd and at this point it's questionable as to if an alignment was even done. How do I know if I was provided a service when you can't provide the proof? I would like to request either a refund or the proof of service." He forwarded it to the area service manager, Justin, who then wrote back saying he guarantees the service was done and he would not give a refund. So, I requested to go to the Cedar Park location. When I arrived, all I told them was that the Pflugerville location couldn't print out my report and I was told that I could get it from them. I didn't say anything else. First question they ask me after putting my car on the rack, "Did they even do the alignment? " They showed me the alignment numbers and all the numbers were off. Cedar park ended up actually doing the alignment and I have nothing but great things to say. Everything they did was what a good shop should do. So now I'm curious, when Justin guaranteed the service was done, what was that guarantee based on? How am I supposed to trust this shop and feel confident that they are doing what they're supposed to? read more

I've had great results with Luxury Auto Works at their Lamar location and am thrilled that their newest location is so convenient to my home. Their Pflugerville location lives up to their stellar standards with timely, competitively priced services coupled with a friendly, knowledgable staff... this is a shop that wants to earn your business. I took my 08 Mercedes s550 to this place to get my AC repaired and I spoke with a guy in the office, and I told him that it may just need a reset with a Mercedes star diagnostic. He told me they will charge me $220 for a diagnostic fee, and once they perform the diagnostic if they find anything wrong they will notify me before any repairs and if I was to agree for them to fix it they will waive the $220 diagnostic fee. A day goes by and they sent me a video with the work already completed without my knowledge stating that the ac is working great and all it needed was recharge and a reset. So I go to pick up my car and they charged me $450 to basically recharge and reset the ac. They did not waive the diagnostic fee. Very high cost for such minor work. read more

The prices here are not reasonable at all. I don't know if it is because of them judging their clientele, or simply overcharging everyone, the prices are not even excusable. An oil change should NOT cost $160 dollars. Not even close, even with synthetic oil. I was foolish to pay it, but luckily walked away from a tire replacement and installation that would have been a complete ripoff. Thank goodness I realized I could better. read more

Here's something you will rarely see - it's a review from someone who did NOT have their car serviced here. Why? They literally refused to accept my money and were just glad to be able to help me. I won't name dealers or brands, but all I wanted was to adjust my low beam headlights, having just upgraded to HIDs on my vehicle. The manufacturer's website does not contain that information, nor does my owner's manual, and I believe that's intentional. A Google search brought up very different, and sometimes conflicting answers. And a call to my dealer resulted in "let's set up an appointment and get your car in here". No offer to tell me how to do it, so I naturally assumed it must be take special tools or be somewhat involved. As luck would have it, I was out for a drive yesterday afternoon on Rowe Lane, and just pulled in to this location, unannounced and no appointment. Literally within 5 minutes I had two guys opening the hood, removing a small plastic panel, and showing me precisely how to do what was needed. And far from being complicated or confusing, it requires a total of one (1) Phillips head screwdriver. They then went on to explain what to watch for and listen for on the adjusting screw. Done. Personally, I think it would have been totally acceptable to charge me something for this service (and education) but they wouldn't do that. So then I tried to buy lunch, and they wouldn't hear of that either. "It's worth it to us if you'll just bring your car here for future service." And you can bet I'll do exactly that! These guys are great. From my initial call to the service I received when dropping off my car. I had a pretty easy maintenance done on my car which was a tire pressure sensor. They installed a new one but the new one didn't work with my cars computer so they at no extra cost, ordered a different part and re-did the install a day later when they received the new part in. The service is wonderful and a great new local business to support. read more

I very seriously could not recommend this place less. For a "diagnostic", apparently there is a two hour limit and after that they will charge you again for the diagnosis. My $430 "three hour" diagnosis took 4 days to complete, and when I was emailed the diagnosis I called two other repair shops who said that should have been less than an hour diagnostic exam. Then, the quote for the part repair was $200 upcharge over the part if I were to call the dealership and ask for it myself as well as coming out to about $200 per hour of labor. Go literally anywhere else. Do not waste your time or your money coming here. read more

I was referred to Luxury Auto Works to service my Mercedes-Benz. I called to state that I would like the B-service and shared my make a model and asked for the price of the service. They gave me a price of $640. I made an appointment and took my car in first thing in the morning of the scheduled appointment. I told them they did not need to do the oil change portion of the B-service as that had been done recently. They had my vehicle all day and I knew they closed at 6 so I started to head over there around 5 and they called around 5:15 as I was driving over and said they were waiting for the filters to come in. I would have thought those would have been ordered ahead of time. Then when I arrived the guy told me it was $670... so it was more than quoted and they didn't even have to do the oil change. I ended up having to take it to a new service center who has my forever business after feeling like all they did was take my money and take advantage of me. read more
