Teriyaki Chicken with Fried Rice (Side)

Just ordered the chicken teriyaki with fried rice! Had to put half of it in the fridge for a second meal later!

Crab Rangoon
Regina K.

Service was amazing however, the food chicken fried rice was very bland. Love the sprouts in it. The crab raccoon was a little overcooked and very little fillings. The red sauce is amazing. Place was very clean

Pad thai

By far the worse pad thai I've ever had. Almost no flavor. Hot and sour soup was the same. Super bland, had to put sriracha and soy in it, which I have never had to do before! Crab Rangoon was nice and crispy/creamy, but it's hard to mess up cream cheese fried in a won ton

Sharp metal object I bit into that was in the middle of the chicken

Health safety issue - Absolutely do not eat here. I ordered the orange chicken today; took a bite and bit into something strong. It was the sharp metal foreign object in the picture. It cut the roof of my mouth resulting in bleeding. I'm completely disgusted by this experience. I called the store and spoke with the manager who said because I ordered through DoorDash they can't refund me. At this point the refund isn't the issue. The issues are a) that this could even happen to someone and b) no apology was given. I'm thankful I didn't swallow or choke on the object but I am completely disturbed by the whole incident. I want to give DoorDash big props for how kind and responsive they have been with an issue they had nothing to do with. Photo: Foreign steel object from inside chicken piece

Beef Lo Mein, Wonton Soup, 6 Pieces Steamed Dumplings

A little lunch delivered from my neighborhood HC Way on Bethel Rd. Remarkably consistent Ameri-Chinese from this strip mall location, the Wonton Soup and Steamed Dumplings are always decent. Disappointed to see their sauced chicken wings are no longer offered? The Beef Lo Mein today needed a bit more umami flavor and maybe some more veggies but was otherwise chock full of tender velveted beef slices and a mountain of slippery mein noods.

Now this is not your authentic sit down fancy Chinese place, but it is a second best for sure. The value you get is awesome. Tons of food and good quality food for your money. I've received nothing but excellent service each time I've been in. The facility is always very clean. I highly recommend their soups! Any of their fried rice options are home runs too.

A decent place to come for a quick meal that you can also make pretty healthy. HC allows you to create a Chinese meal your own way, adding and subtracting the things you really want. It's fresh, tasty and great for when I need something relatively quick. The portions are also pretty generous. I can definitely get two meals out of whatever I order. Everything tastes great. Although, it's not what I'd consider the most authentic Chinese cuisine. But their menu flexibility makes me not care. This location has a nice assortment of seating and in the mall it's located in, there is tons of free parking in the lot.

Hot And Sour Soup - $2.25 - Like A Big Bowl Of Hot Vegetable Jello

HC Way? It's the brand new Asian bistro that just opened a couple weeks ago on Bethel Rd. It's made to order, better than average food court style Asian food. The food is alright, it's plenty filling and not too expensive for what you get. The place is brand new with a nice contemporary look. The employees are polite, friendly and very helpful. They have standard Chinese American dishes but they also give you the choice of building your own entree which is what I did. You order at the counter, you get a pager and then you pick up your food when they buzz you. That's called "The HC Way" and it goes like this: 1. Pick your protein 2. Pick the vegetables you want 3. Pick your sauce ie Teriyaki,, Kung Pao, Hunan, Curry, Mongolian, etc. 4. Choose your cooking style - steamed or stir-fry 5. Choose your starch - steamed, fried or brown rice or lo mein noodles I decided to try the Stir Fry Veggies with Shirmp and Hunan Sauce. It was decent and filling. The sauce was typical / forgettable but it wasn't bad. The portions were fairly large for the price as there was a surprising amount of food for the money. They didn't skimp on the protein and they did offer brown rice which was a nice surprise. The Hot And Sour Soup though... Erm... Have you ever had really bad Chinese buffet soup where it was really gelatinous, clumpy and kinda slimey? This is that soup. The portion was much larger than what any other Asian restaurant serves but it was really bad and I wouldn't bother getting it again. All in all, it's a 3 star restaurant and I would definitely go back again sometime to try some other combinations. Additional info: They offer online ordering They have a delivery service - $2 fee when your order is greater than $10. They have the option of create your own sushi

It never got super busy though. Service was good. Staff were friendly and checked on us a lot. It's a very try modern looking restaurant. Looks more like a modern cafe inside. Not the vibe I expected but cute! We ordered spicy wontons, stir fried pork belly with green chili, sizzling beef short ribs, and Yangzhou fried rice. We had no idea the dishes all came with rice or else we wouldn't have ordered more. The food came out fast! Portions are definitely shareable. Nothing was spicy. I do think the flavors were a bit lacking. Everything could have been more seasoned but I wasn't mad at it. They do have both an authentic menu and an Americanized menu. Great to see this since not everyone has had authentic Sichuan. I'd come back if I have the chance!

It was spicy and flavorful. There was onions, cauliflower and lotus in the mix. The sauce was so delicious. The Sichuan spice was not overpowering and paired with the white rice was the perfect combo. We also had the fish dish. It was 2 large fishes in a heated pot. I didn't like the bones in the fish. The portion was so big. We were too scared to get a fish bone stuck in our throat that we just picked at it. The noodles and pork was good as well. It reminded me of a Thai noodle dish. My least favorite was the tofu. It was just ok. We also had sake to drink. The dishes were on the pricey side but large enough to share. The sake crafts were big and hot! I really enjoyed our meal and will probably come back soon!

We were the only patrons at this time. With it being our first time, we took awhile to go thru the menu. So many choices to choose from and so many appealing entrees. We ended up getting the diving chicken and braised lamb stretch noodle accompanied by some chicken wings to try. My diving chicken blew my socks off. It was beautifully presented, aromatic, and warm. It was accompanied by white rice. With Plenty of tasty marinated chicken, bok choy, green onions and bean sprouts in a semi spicy broth. Super fulfilling and a nice portion. I shared my bowl with a hungry 6 year old and still had leftovers! Fiance got the braised lamb and stretch noodles, he admitted he had no clue what he was getting or what to expect. Nevertheless he received a nice hearty bowl of lamb and hand stretch noodle in a nice and hot lamb broth. Also accompanied by white rice. He finished majority of his bowl only leaving some broth behind. We both tried each others and both agreed on the diving chicken having a better taste but I think it's because it's spicier. The chicken wings were on the dry side but they were still tasty and completely devoured. Service was standard and immediate. I didn't see a kids menu. Buy we Really enjoyed the food. Can't wait to try more!!

The place is not big and they usually have large parties coming in, thus fills the space quickly. We started with Tofu chicharron which we were expecting to be crispy - because chicharron means 'crackling pork rinds' but these Tofu were soft a lil disappointed there. We tried the pork sisig, it was okay. It has this mayo topping and there's an overpowering taste of ginger which is not typical of sisig. We enjoyed the grilled pork belly though, marinated enough and it's complimented with soy vinegar dip. The pancit on the other hand was very greasy. The oil was pooling at the bottom of the bowl. Taste was was just okay. It has way too many chinese sausage in it. We completed our meal with Ube Carioca, it is this chewy rice cake that is deep fried with glazed sweetness & that was okay as well. We wanted the mango sago, however they were out. The service was prompt and adequate parking space.

I liked how fresh their veggies were and when they ran out of one thing, they quickly replaced it. I made sure to grab some Napa cabbage, bok choy, enoki mushrooms, wood ear mushrooms, tofu skins, and beef. The beef was slightly frozen, which was a good sign because I led feel iffy about eating raw beef that was sitting out at room temp for a long time. They have an assortment of ramen so also got a pack of seafood ramen and was able to split it with my friend. In terms of choosing your ramen flavor, seasoning doesn't matter as much as noodle texture because they just use the noodles and toss the seasoning away. Once you get to the check out, they weigh your bowl and you can pay. The build your own bowls range from about $13-15 per pound and you can choose between dry or soup bowls and spicy or mild. I got the spicy mala soup bowl and it was medium spicy (4/10 for me). If you want more seasoning, there's a sauce bar that has cilantro, garlic, oil, hoisin, and other sauces. They cook the bowl for you and bring it to your table. I liked how they cut the fish balls in half to make them easier to eat. Everything was cooked well but the flat rice noodles got a bit soggy. They also have rice bowls and bingsoo (shaved ice) for dessert. By the time I finished my bowl, I was very full but I'll have to try their other dishes next time. In terms of pricing, if you're not a big eater, it would be a good option compared to all you can eat places since you can control the amount of ingredients and you don't have to feel the pressure of trying to finish all your food.
