They serve a wide variety of different Chinese staples. The fried rice is delicious. My husband's favorite was the shrimp with Chinese vegetables. The staff were friendly and prompt. read more

Large portions, tasty food and quick service. General Tso's is excellent, the version with veggies is best. Fried rice is very good too.

Never again!! I ordered take out the boneless bbq ribs to be exact with the pork fired rice. Why is my meat have metal in it. I took a picture of what I was chewing. I looked past the reviews and seen other complaints I should have taken caution. read more

Peking House - Metal in my food - Chinese Near Me - Grove City, Ohio

We tried this place several years ago and were not impressed. Since then it must've gotten new owners because the food is outstanding! The crab Rangoon is the best I've had! Pad Thai is great, all their dishes have lots of flavor and veggies and we like it a lot. read more

Just ok. Food was ok and service was excellent. Restaurant was clean and in order. Many folks eating lunch inside with large portions. Seems to have lost some of its excellent Chinese status since Covid. read more

The food is consistently good, sizable portions and evenly priced. I've eaten there for 24 years and never disappointed

Amazing, best Chinese food in a 100 mile radius! We always get the sesame chicken, and the egg rolls!

I ordered Fried Rice and Cashews and Chicken The little girl taking my order was so rude to me Calling me another fat American Saying we're talking over your Country I think she gets picked on at school and took it out on me Any way I haven't been back since And that was 11 years ago And I like the food read more

THE TASTY FOOD ISN'T WORTH DEALING WITH THE RUDE MATRIARCH The food is great, but the service is HORRIBLE! This is the first negative review I've ever left, but I have finally reached my limit with this place. It doesn't matter how friendly and courteous you are, the owners (?) are extremely rude. I'm pretty sure this is a family-run restaurant, and I feel like I've watched their kids grow up. The older lady that usually takes the orders acts like she despises anyone that isn't Asian, but in contrast, the young lady (her daughter?) is very warm and welcoming. What's the saying? " ... and the children shall lead them"? Get rid of the mean lady, put the young adults in charge, and they'd be packed! As I said, the food is wonderful, and if they treated their customers with just a little bit of kindness and appreciation, maybe their parking lot wouldn't be so empty all the time. As far as ambience ... What ambience? I'm not sure if Yelp allows reviewers to update their comments, but if they do, I'll be happy to change my rating from 1 star to at least 3 -- IF things improve. read more

I've tried Chinese food all over Columbus and this is hands down my favorite. It's not overly greasy light most and the crab Rangoons are amazing. read more

Was going to eat in, but it was like 40*f in there. The pic you see is me eating in my car,, would have preferred to eat in, but it was freezing inside. Food is good, ample quality in the lunch special, crab Rangoon are really good, for the cream cheese version. $14 lunch, passing through town for work, i'd stop again if in the area. read more

Peking House - Schez ckn, rangoon does not come with, FYI - Chinese Near Me - Grove City, Ohio

Everything you'd want for Americanized Chinese food! The service is pretty average, but the food makes up for it. Portions are huge and the store is kind of cute! read more

When I ordered my food the cashier quickly went from register to a mini freezer with an ungloved hand and grabbed my frozen egg roll and tossed it into the fryer right in front of me then went back to the register. I know the heat of the grease would kill any germs from her hands but it was still gross. The egg roll also tasted bad. The main dish was good but I wouldn't go back. read more

Peking House - Chinese Near Me - Grove City, Ohio

I decided to try this place, I figured on the standard menu & it wouldn't take long. Kind of gross that they stack boxes in the restaurant seating area. Service was just that, no above/beyond comments to add. Yep: standard menu. HOWEVER, the time was just after 6pm.... you would think a good plan would be to sell fresh food in orders? OLD rice, stale crab rangoons & wonton. Wonton soup was what I expected. Sweet & sour chicken dinner was thrown in the trash after 5 or so bites. Lesson learned!! read more

Just off the highway and yelped this place. Not bad at all. The soup wasn't terrific but the spicy chicken and dumplings were very good. Overall it was a pretty good experience and we did much better than a lot of other random stops on the road. I am pretty much agreement with the rest of the reviews and would probably stop here when passing through. read more

Had an impromptu dinner here tonight! The wonton soup was delicious & hot. The beef & snow peas was hot off the skillet & delicious! The white rice was perfect ( I'm a rice snob!) A big recommendation ! read more

Fast food Chinese and probably some of the best you will find! Actually decided I wanted Chinese Food for Mother's day so we ordered to carry out. Cashew Chicken and Vegetable Chow Mein, Egg Rolls and Steamed Dumplings. The order was correct, the food was hot and it was delicious. So glad this place is close to home! read more

General Tso's Chicken Vegetable Chow Fun A solid Chinese place. I was disappointed there were no chop sticks. read more

It's really disappointing to me to leave this review. I'm not doing so to make this restaurant look bad but to sort of point out how far they've fallen off of what they used to deliver. We've been away for a few years and are in town visiting family and friends. We went to Peking House for our favorite dish, extra hot and spicey Szechuan, won ton soup and fried pot stickers. This was our go to place when we lived in the area...now, I won't be coming back. Cold, reheated dishes...even the soup was barely above room temperature...it's sad this place used to be really good. read more

Was in the mood for Generals Tsu's lo mien, which I purchased at Peking House. When I got home, I tried to spoon some out. I was hard so I had to heat it up in the micro-wave and that didnt help so I just threw it out . This will be the last time the I go there. read more

MILESTONE REVIEW! YEAH! Scuse me while I pat myself on the back. Pat, Pat Now I'm ready to review.... For My 100th review I ended up trying a new place I found in Grove City, Ohio. It's your typical cookie cutter, mom and pop place with the standard pictures of some of their dishes lit up on the wall (I guess in case a neanderthal comes in - grunt and point)? It's the standard menu you find at most of the other strip mall Chinese food joints that have sprung up like dandelions in my yard....well like last year anyways. Are these franchises? I'm beginning to think so, they are so much alike it's scary. Just slight variations on colors and minor variations on set up. Anyways, it's a counter service place, order and they will bring your food out to you. They did serve mine on an actual plate which was nice. (I was expecting styrofoam). I got the combo Szechuan Chicken, fried rice and egg roll. All were very good. Szechuan Chicken was flavorful with a nice variety of veggies and plenty of that spongy chicken you find in these places. Fried Rice was excellent! Lots of scallions, onions, bean sprouts and lots and lots of that mysterious magenta and purple pork. The egg roll was light and crispy, golden brown. Enough here for two people so I've got some for tonight after work. Cost? With a bottle of water....about $9.50. A little higher than most but the food was good and the place was clean. Only little irritation was the family hanging out in the dining room. Well behaved kids but one of the kids was asleep in the booth across from me.....culture difference I guess as I've seen this before in family owned Chinese restaurants. read more

I'll admit, I'm a Chinese food snob. I was raised with a great uncle & mom's cousins who cooked at Chinese restaurants all my life. I ordered the broccoli and beef combo. The broccoli & beef wasn't what I expected, but it was okay. The fried rice wasn't the best, but when mixed with the beef & broccoli it wasn't too bad. The egg rolls though? I love egg rolls! I always order extra for lunch the next day. I regretted doing so, as I didn't even finish the first one. Now I've paid for egg rolls I'll never eat. I won't be returning. Instead I'll go to China Bell, Eastern Wok or Rice Bowl instead. read more

This Asian-American restaurant is one of my favorite that I have been to of its kind. Whenever I am here the food is always hot and tastes delicious. The lunch specials are good, big serving for a very fair price and when dining in come on a nice porcelain plate. The only issue I have had with the place is that one time I was given the wrong order, but it was resolved when they called me and apologized and said next time I could have a free dish. I would recommend this to anyone that lives in the area that does not already know about it read more

See all

I looked in the door and they had all the tables blocked off, so went to China Bell for an excellent sit down dinner.

One of My favorite Asian food place in 43123. It's close to freeway 71 South. The food is delicious. Price and portions comparable to other places. I usually order for my family Chicken and Broccoli garlic sauce, Beef and Broccoli Garlic, fresh Broccoli is used..War Su Gai all very good, fresh tasting ingredients. Sometimes Cashew Chicken or Sweet n Sour Chicken very good. Spring rolls Egg Rolls I think there just good. I order a quart Hot n Sour Soup for me . It is my go to food in the winter. When I don't feel well, I sip this. I feel better! We often order via cellphone when we are within 20 minutes of home for carry out and we only wait to pay. Our food is hot. In other words, they are busy with dine in and other carry out orders. I've never had a bad experience. Dining room is plastic dinettes with benches. No frills. Bathroom is unisex and adequate. read more

Ordered take out. The food was ready when I got there. First was the wonton soup. The container was huge. It was excellent. It went down hill from there. I had sesame chicken. It was overdone. The sauce was disgusting. And I ended up throwing it out. My mom also said her dish was blah. If it weren't for the wonton, I would have given one star. read more

I had almost given up on this place, but this evening had an awesome meal from them. Everything was fresh and tasty. The hot and sour soup was delicious and everything else did not disappoint. They were fast and very nice. The to go order was packed great and for the price I really feel like we got a great meal! read more

I love the food and they have amazing prices, I love their wonton soup, I don't really like how they show you your receipt because they just circle what you orderd in their menu and give you a price, so how do you know if it's the wrong amount of tax or not? but all the food is really good. they just need to work on their customer service, whenever I walk into the store I don't feel very invited. but all in all I give them 3 stars. read more

Craptastic customer service. All I asked was to add a side of broccoli to my order and was legit SCOLDED and told that is absolutely not possible. Like, we CANNOT do that. Like I was crazy for wanting something green with my fried food. I get this at every other Chinese restaurant, no problemo. She told me I can get a side order for $7.99 or none at all. $8 for a side of broccoli?! Are you nuts?! Boy have you lost your mind, cause I'll help ya find it! Nope. Bye, Felicia. read more

This is by far my favorite Chinese place in the region. I've went here since I was a kind. The family who owns this place has always been super kind. The food is amazing and the price and portions are always more than fair. Everyone I've ever took here has came back over and over and always says wow I'm impressed. Best place around. read more

For dinner tonight I ordered beef and Fried Rice. I was very dissatisfied after I got it home. The Rice was dry and had no been sprouts. I think they added extra onion to make up for it. My beef was so dried out couldn't hardly swallow it. Not happy at all and I have always liked this place. read more

Food is always perfect when I come here. Huge portion sizes at good prices. Made fresh to order. Inside is generally clean but very outdated and cheap looking... don't judge a book by it's cover. Would recommend and definitely come back. My favorite Chinese food in Grove City! read more

First off, the price is ridiculous. It taste identical to a Chinese buffet, only they charge you about triple the amount by the time you're done. On top of that, my stomach can tolerate even the worst, yet any time I eat anything from here, I'm sick in an hour. I'm not the only one, either. Some of the strongest stomachs in Ohio can't tolerate it. Not to mention if you WATCH them prepare the food (considering you can see the entire kitchen), you can see the unsanitary conditions - which are likely what leads to the food poisoning. If you want a Chinese Takeout Restaurant that is a little cleaner, safer and overall BETTER (though the prices are about the same) go about 4 miles to High Street. Don't waste your money, time or stomach here. read more

Good food, very fresh, big portions, only lacking thing is the fried rice could use a little more flavor.

Definitely the best General Tso's chicken I have had from any Chinese place. They also make a great crab Rangoon. I miss working near this place! read more

Best fried dumplings EVER. So glad to find a place that's clean, and quick and kind. I can't wait to come back and try other things

I love this place! Great food and it's fresh every time I come. Large portions too. So far I've tried the General Tso's, Sesame Chicken, Pork Lo Mein, and Black Pepper Chicken. All were fantastic! I think my favorite thing there is the fried dumplings, though. Delicious! read more

We drive out of our way to go get this take out! It's not as greasy as most Chinese places in the area and it's packaged separately so your sauce doesn't get all over your rice. read more
