I recently moved to the Bay from the Central Valley, and was in quite a pickle when these guys came to the rescue! I was heading back to Hayward, coming over the Altamont, when suddenly as I'm on the hill, my car cuts out. The clutch went out. I pull over to the side of the road, and call these guys because they're near where I live in Hayward. The tow driver, Patrick, arrived quicker than expected, and immediately started to help. My car just out of the blue decided to not turn on. After I called Hayward towing, they came in a very reasonable amount of time I think 20-25 mins and were able to diagnose the problem and tow it to my car maintenance guy. The maintenance guy was able to confirm it was a problem with the "starter" just like the tow guy said. Driver was also very friendly and professional. It's my second time having to get my car towed and the first time it wasn't me who called a towing company but my friend, so It's my first time to have an actual conversation with a tow guy. Jake is a very good listener & he just knows what he does. Also he's very empathetic over the phone that if you're still shaken from an incident, he can calm u down. When they arrived at the scene, it was a fast process, because they know that everyone that goes through the hassle of getting a car towed is in distress and would not want anything more on top of that. HAYWARD TOWING (3/25/19): I broke down during the height of commute traffic on a Friday evening. Because I didnt have a tow package with my insurance, I started calling nearby tow companies. The first one I called never answered... it went straight to voice mail that was full and the second one that was only 1.75 miles away told me that I was gping to have to wait for about 2 hours before they could get there. I called Hayward tow and they went out of their way to squeeze me into their schedule and had me hitched up and off the freeway in about 35 minutes. I love this tow company! They saved me from a terrible situation. I ended up blowing a tire on my truck on my way home from work. I called them because they were close to where I was stuck. They answered so quickly, he gave a good and fast time frame on the pick up my vehicle. Once my driver Kerry came I was really satisfied with his service. He was able to get my truck loaded quickly and safely while being on the freeway with fast speeding cars. He was very polite and friendly. Due to the rain my car has been giving me issues and today it gave up on me. I was stuck and just searched for towing services near where I was and this one came up. I decided to go with them based on the reviews. The person who answered the phone was super nice and understanding and was able to send someone out right away. So I had a problem with my car bad part I was stuck in the middle of the freeway. I was recommended by a friend. When I called for service the person over the phone understood my frustration and was really concerned. She told me she will send someone out to me as soon as possible. Boy let me tell you when she said that she wasn't playing. About ten min prior to speaking with this lady they sent over a guy named Jake. I contacted Giants Towing to transport a forklift I bought from Fremont and need to bring to my yard in Benicia. After providing them with the pickup address and the drop off address and giving them a picture of the forklift got a quote for $300.00 dollars and I agree to the price they were to pick up the following day at 8AM after waiting for one hour I called to check the ETA on the tow truck and I was told that my quote was not good they would charge me $450.00 because the made a mistake on the miles to what I responded it was not my fault they screw up and the guys told me you can cancel if you like but it will cost you $45.00 been press for time I agree to the new rate but will never use them or recommended any one to use the are a RIPOFF!!! read more

OK, I have to say, this towing company, completely blew my mind! I was absolutely amazed at how quickly my tow truck driver arrived, spoke with me, loaded my car onto the truck bed, and drove us to my house. JakeIs the driver I rode with today. He attached my car as if he's been doing this forever. Jake had a very positive attitude towards his work, he had a great sense of humor, and was very polite. If I ever need a tow, I will definitely be calling Hayward Towing, and I really hope he's my driver. The situation with my car completely ruined my day, but luckily Hayward Towing knows how to hire the right people. Jake also takes very good care of the cab of the truck, so it was nice sitting in a clean and nice smelling cab when I was being driven to my house. When we pulled up to my house, Jake hopped out and got my car down, and in the driveway so quick it would definitely be worth calling this company to help with a tow even from multiple cities over. I definitely have to say that, despite the horrible events that happened to my car, I am glad to have met Jake, because he definitely turned the day around. I'm so serious when I say I was dead set on brooding and letting this ruin my day, but luckily I met the coolest tow truck driver, at least in the state of California.
