Asked for no rice it's on the receipt and still get a load of rice.

Asked for no rice and again it's full of rice went in to just ask for a refund and the little manager guy said no. So I just left I will never return. Horrible service. Zero stars if I could

I went with the mixed plate where can choose a couple of protein. I chose the huli huli chicken and kalua pork. It comes with rice and macaroni salad. The chicken was marinated with a soy sauce base and very tasty with a little sweetness. The kalua pig was good as well but a little too much fat for me but the fat was not chewy so it was okay. The macaroni salad had a little too much pepper for my taste.

I love Hawaiian Time! Coming from the east coast we have almost no Hawaiian food spots. Here in Oregon it is a chain! Although this is fast food it still tastes super high quality and you get a really good portion for what you pay. I got the smallest size and it was still super filling. Only around 8$. They have a drive through too which is super nice. The menu had mixed plates and sandwiches. It is limited but good for someone who is indecisive like me and likes choosing from a smaller menu. I got the mixed plate which comes with a meat, rice and Mac salad. The rice is cooked perfectly. Definitely recommend for a quick meal.

This place was recommended to me last year and I never ended up stopping in while I was in town. I am so glad I remembered it this time around! This food is absolutely amazing and the service is fast even when the drive thru line was wrapped around the back. I got the #2 Honolulu Beef plate with rice and mac. I did not need the large because the portion was HUGE, but for the price it was a HUGE deal! Not mad about that at all. The mac is one of the best side items I've had anywhere. I know this is a traditional dish and I wish I had the recipe. I could eat this stuff by the pound! The beef was tender and the sauce was delicious. I wished this plate never ended after I dug into it. I will be back to try more off of the menu. I have no idea how authentic the food is, but whatever they have going on works and I love it!

This is how it looked when I opened it up.

I came to this truck on Saturday at Autzen Stadium with my husband…read more I'm always a bit leery of trying Hawaiian food here. One of our good friends is Hawaiian and therefore quite opinionated on the subject. Finding authentic and delicious Hawaiian food is a legit challenge. We walked up to the truck and were immediately greeted by the cashier. He was friendly and helpful. The first thing I noticed was his accent. He sounded exactly like the Hawaiian friend I mentioned earlier. So I thought this was a good sign. Both him and the other employee who gave us our food were super friendly and kind. That vibe and energy always makes me smile. My husband ordered the garlic chicken and I ordered teriyaki beef. They only had three options on the menu, and the third being pulled pork. Both plates came with rice and macaroni salad. Everything was delicious. Portions seemed a tad small for the price, but I really didn't care. I was full, and it was delicious. I text our friend about this business, and he said it is hands down THE best Hawaiian food in town. Which I definitely agree with. It is a small family run business, and I love it. Our friend said they've scaled back to only doing events like the spring game where we found them and catering, which makes me super sad. Because I would totally go out of my way to visit them and eat there again. I'd become a regular real quick. Despite the fact they only do events and catering, if you find them at an event you're attending, give them a try! It is so worth it. You'll thank me, I promise. Review 29 of 2025.

Visited Oakshire to get some food and found this Hawaiian truck we hadn't tried yet…read more We were excited to see a menu that was a little different from the other 2 Hawaiian trucks in town and a very reasonable price ($15 got 2 scoops of rice, slaw or Mac salad and a huge portion of the main protein). I tried the Cod Katsu plate because I have never seen a fish katsu before and was intrigued. This was a VERY good dish. The Katsu crust was super crunchy and held up well to the deliciously spicy katsu sauce and the juice from the slaw without ever getting soggy. The fish was nice and juicy and cooked perfectly. My only complaint is that there wasn't enough katsu sauce and I had to request more. My wife tried the Pork Bulgogi plate. It was very flavorful and tasty but the meat was so full of fat and gristle it was hard to eat. She tossed half the meat, that's why I took off the 5th star from this review. We'll definitely try them again, we'll be sharing the garlic tofu dish next time!

Everyone in line was hungry and excited to get inside and order. When it was my turn, I got the clam chowder and the Captain's Platter with cod as my fish choice. Food came out fairly quick. They call your number and you pick it up at the counter. My clam chowder was to die for. Lots of fresh clams and potatoes. Yum! The fried clams, shrimp and cod looked like it was a little over fried. But I saw other people's plates looking the same so I started to eat mine and absolutely loved it! I'm excited to come back, enjoy a great meal and pick up some smoked fish and some of the take and bake items.

Hey, Guy Fieri was here, and so of course I had to stop in when I was passing through town…read more It's a nice space. Nice and simple. You order at the counter, and then they bring you your food. They have a very large menu, including quite a few few different type of fish that you can have for fish and chips. They also have a good amount of items that you can buy to take with you in their case. Ordering was a little bit confusing. There are two order windows. I stood at one for a couple of minutes, nobody acknowledged me, nobody said anything. That's when I looked over and noticed that they were doing the ordering from the other window. It would've been nice for somebody to do at least say, "hey, they are taking orders from the other window." I went over to the window and I ordered. I ordered a cup of the fisherman's seafood stew, and I also ordered the crawfish. (I call it crawdad.) pot pie that Guy had on the show. I also ordered a half a pound of the sweet and spicy halibut jerky The jerky was amazing. A little bit sweet, a little bit spicy, and it's not hard and extremely chewy like a lot of jerky can be. It's kind of like about halfway between hard and tender. The flavor itself was very good. I will have to be careful so it lasts a while I' also loved the fisherman's stew. It's a tomato based broth, and they were very generous with the seafood. It was a little bit rich, a little bit spicy, and the seafood was very, very tender. Unfortunately, the pot pie was a little bit of a letdown. The gravy was savory, a little bit rich, and very flavorful with also just a little bit of spice. The crawfish were savory and just a little bit sweet. It was nice being able to have crawfish already shelled. It also came with a sour cream which added to the flavor. The problem was, the top crust was a bit over browned on the top. The bottom of the top crust, as well as the bottom crust, it's like it wasn't done all the way. It was a little bit gummy. That took away from the pot pie, just a little bit. Overall, a very successful meal. The jerky is absolutely on the high-end price wise, but the soup and the pot pie were very reasonably priced. I would love to come back and try some of the different variations of the fish and chips. Overall, it was a good meal. Thank you.
