I love Hawaiian food and Chachas definitely satisfies that craving. The portions are hugeee. One plate meal can last a couple days. The garlic chicken was super flavorful and crispy. I enjoyed it but would want to try another meat next time. Comes with a choice of rice, Mac salad, and stir fry noodles as sides. Great spot for takeout. Would recommend.

This Hawaiian spot is a hidden gem! I've driven past it so many times on Coburg without trying it, and what a shame, this place has amazing food. Such flavorful meat and fresh sides. The staff were also all so kind and friendly. I'd call this the best Hawaiian food in town.

Finally, after 3 try and disappointed, we finally found a place that makes good Hawaiian food! The place is a little hard to find due to its simple sign. The food is by far the best Hawaiian food we had in Eugene. The combination plate is a good way to sample a good variety of you're not sure or just wanted to taste a bit of everything. I had the Loco Moco and it was good and the portions are just right. Don't forget the Spam Masubi! Friendly staff, good services, and the food is served fast. So, if you're craving some good Hawaiian food, this is the place to go!

Always looking for good comfort food & Hawaiian plate lunches always hits the spot for me. Not every place that calls themselves "Hawaiian" is good, but this place comes close. I walked in and the Hawaiian decor stood out immediately, the Hawaiian flag, the vibe, everything. The menu board offered to many plate lunch options and more. It is counter service, somewhat fast, very casual. The premises were clean and even with the dark interior, it was still appeared to be bright inside. You can have an option to sit in a booth or at picnic-like bench tables--family style. I ordered the kalua pork sliders, Hapa fries, beef teri rice plate and 2 SPAM musubi to go. *My sliders were very good, balanced well with the amount of meat, juicy, mild smokey flavor. It was a bit messy eating it. The only complaint was packing. The coleslaw was served on the side of the sliders and by the time I got to campus, the bottom buns got mushy and soaked with the coleslaw dressing. I was able to enjoy my first slider--it was the furthest from the coleslaw, but I was unable to pick up the next 2 without it falling apart. I'm sure it would have been different had I dined in. *The teri beef was okay, good flavor, but I thought the some pieces of meat were thicker sliced than what I am accustomed to seeing and there was so much onions. The mac salad was okay, a little too much mayo for my taste. *The SPAM was very good and reasonably priced...better value to buy 2 for $5 than pay $3 apiece. The only observation was the SPAM, was on the thin side--could be a little thicker. So the ratio of SPAM to rice was not balanced. *The Hapa fries were tasty, they were crisp and not greasy, but they were definitely shy on the furikake seasoning. I was just a light sprinkle...so much so that I'm not sure if that was worthy to be called Hapa fries. For dessert, they offered ube (purple yam) cheesecake with either Haupia (coconut) or Chantilly cream or ube cookies. I had to save something to look forward to on my next visit. They should add a chocolate haupia pie or a mac nut pie to the dessert offering and maybe expand the SPAM musubi menu to include a breakfast version with scrambled egg omelette or a chicken katsu version. While the reviews have been all over the place, my dining experience, albeit for take away, was very positive and I would not hesistate to return for my comfort food fix try other items on their menu. Their menu items seems to be a little more authentic (& tastes better) than the other Hawaiian (franchise) restaurant down the street. Definitely worth checking out--I will come back next time I'm in town for some ono grinds!

We came here on a recommendation and it was great. This Hawaiian restaurant is very spacious with numerous booths and bench seating. The staff was great, helpful and friendly. The menu has a lot of items, but if you stick to what you like, you can't go wrong. I got the mixed plate (choice of two meats) with Kalua pig, teriyaki beef, Mac salad and rice! The Kalua pig was well cooked and tender. It was very tasty with that distinctive smoked flavor. The Teriyaki beef was very good, but more on the sweeter side. My son had the Fiyah ribs, rice and Mac salad. The short ribs were very tasty with that Lava sauce (Sweet and Spicy) it was basted with. We also tried the Da Kanak snack and Spam fries. Da Kanak snack is meant to be shared, with lots of fries and Spicy chicken, topped with pepper Jack cheese, spicy mayo, and furikaki. So good! The spam fries were my favorite! Katsu battered spam strips, deep fried to a golden crisp, and drizzled with spicy mayo! Give me more! Other menu items that caught my eye were: Poke, island tacos, and burgers. They also have Vegan options. I want to go back and try their Eggplant Katsu. I would definitely come back when I'm craving some good Hawaiian food! Happy Nom Nom!

This place is amazing! I've been trying to find a good Hawaiian plate lunch place that actually tastes like back home and this place hit it on the spot. Let me tell you when I walked into this place it even smelt like a local grindz spot. We got their surf and turf special fiyah ribs/garlic shrimp plate, garlic chicken plate, and da kanak snack! Everything was so ono! Please never close down. Whenever I come down to visit the in laws I will forever come and eat here! Service was immaculate too! Aloha spirit is blessed in this place.

We came in to grab a couple plates- beef, pork, rice, fried noodles, & Mac salad. A couple fountain drinks as well for a quick lunch stop. Overall the food was good and comparable to other Hawaiian food joints in town. Soda wasn't great. Fried noodles had little to no flavor. Mac salad ahead potatoes in it as well. It was alright. Pork was juicy and tender. Yum. The interior was lacking cleanliness in most all departments. Floors were extremely sticky. I rinsed my shoes off in a puddle outside afterwards- ha! Table and booth had leftover rice on it. Overall not thrilled by the cleanliness in here. It wasn't too loud or anything crazy. The ice machine was broken but there was a large ice maker next to it for serving yourself. Kinda gross to have any and everyone touching that ice scoop openly & then it laying back in the ice. I can't say we will be racing back in unless we get a craving and want to try another menu item out. Wish it was just a bit cleaner in here. The lady at the register was so kind and helpful. Self serve sauces by the checkin as well- kinda in the way for others to order.

The food here is pretty solid and it definitely rivals the best Hawaiian plate in town. Spam musabi was not available when I showed, pretty disappointing. Chicken tasted good, I could probably match this at home. Pork was solid I liked it a lot. Rice was meh, needed sauce but none was available at the counter or tables. They could definitely up their rice game. Max salad was very good, good balance of salt and acidity. Would come back.

One of our good friends is Hawaiian and therefore quite opinionated on the subject. Finding authentic and delicious Hawaiian food is a legit challenge. We walked up to the truck and were immediately greeted by the cashier. He was friendly and helpful. The first thing I noticed was his accent. He sounded exactly like the Hawaiian friend I mentioned earlier. So I thought this was a good sign. Both him and the other employee who gave us our food were super friendly and kind. That vibe and energy always makes me smile. My husband ordered the garlic chicken and I ordered teriyaki beef. They only had three options on the menu, and the third being pulled pork. Both plates came with rice and macaroni salad. Everything was delicious. Portions seemed a tad small for the price, but I really didn't care. I was full, and it was delicious. I text our friend about this business, and he said it is hands down THE best Hawaiian food in town. Which I definitely agree with. It is a small family run business, and I love it. Our friend said they've scaled back to only doing events like the spring game where we found them and catering, which makes me super sad. Because I would totally go out of my way to visit them and eat there again. I'd become a regular real quick. Despite the fact they only do events and catering, if you find them at an event you're attending, give them a try! It is so worth it. You'll thank me, I promise. Review 29 of 2025.

The profile looked pretty cool so we decided to go there for a drink. Once inside, it was pretty dark which is typical for a Tiki Bar. The decor was very good and there was a lot of it around. My fave was the mermaid skeleton above our seats. The drinks options were plentiful and they even had jello shots for a bargain price (we had a few of these for good measure!). I had The Monkey's Paw classic drink and another in our party had The Invisible Man drink. Each was lovingly prepared by the bartender who was super cool with the prep and conversations we had with him. I loved walking around and looking at all the decor on the walls and ceiling. Overall, I would say that almost everything was really fantastic and we will definitely be back. We ordered three things to share. We got the shoyu ramen (added wakame), the mixed tempura, and the karaage chicken plate. The ramen came out first. The noodles were good, the egg is always a favorite, and we like the bamboo shoots. The broth was way too salty, though, which was the only thing that wasn't up to our standard for the evening and a bit disappointing since we were looking forward to the ramen. The tempura was really fun. We got the mixed plate and liked the variety of veggies that came with it. It also had two rather large shrimp so we were able to cut them and share. It came with two sauces: the traditional tentsuyu sauce and a spicy Mayo. Both were good. While waiting for the karaage, they came out to tell us that they accidentally started making a chicken katsu and gave it to us on the house while we waited for the dish we ordered. What a treat to be able to try another dish and it was delicious as well. It came with the traditional ketchup-based katsu sauce and teriyaki sauce. The chicken was very tender! We got the karaage plate last. It came with rice dusted with furikake, half a ajiamago egg, and a side of mac salad. The mac salad was pretty good overall. They added finely chopped green peppers to it, which aren't always my favorite, but it was still good. The karaage was also tender and came with teriyaki and spicy mayo. The interesting thing about this location is that they share the space with a bar. So there are two sets of staff and two tabs to pay at the end. Everyone was very attentive and helpful so it all worked out smoothly. We were able to get a beer from the bartender that came over to our table and took our order after we ordered our food. Seems like a setup that can work for them and hopefully they can help each other's businesses thrive.
