Asked for double Mac and no rice and it full of rice. Why can't these people listen?

Ask for NO rice still get rice every dam time. Asked for the mix plate got one kind of chicken. These kids want tips I don't think so.

25 cents each. I could pour all three into one.

C'mon Hawaiian Time, if your going to start charging 25cents for every extra sauce, at least fill them up. We have been coming for years. This feels like nickel and diming. Bummer

Love Hawaiian time but this time it was not good. Ordered 3 spicy chicken 3 veggie sides and 1 large huli chicken ... all burned . Even the veggies were very over cooked. Still recommend this place but definitely check your order before you drive home.

I've been a big fan of Hawaiian Time for over 10 years and always loved the food. My wife and I have frequently went to the Springfield, W 11th Ave and River Road locations. The Springfield location has always been outstanding, W 11th Ave we have no complaints, but this location has always been off. First off, over the 2 years of coming here, the drive thru attendants always tend to be lazy, rude, overall apathetic ( beyond the usual measure) and/or high. Also, this is the 3rd or 4th time that we have received our food in a mess, with the cardboard box messes up, and food and liquids leaking out into the bag, making an overall mess. However this time, after eating we both got sick and have had stomach troubles for 2 days now. It was the only thing we ate on Monday so we know it couldn't have been anything else. I would suggest going to the other Hawaiian Time places if you can.

My Favorite Salad Ever. Love it. Friendly staff. Went though drive thru fast every time even when busy.

One of our good friends is Hawaiian and therefore quite opinionated on the subject. Finding authentic and delicious Hawaiian food is a legit challenge. We walked up to the truck and were immediately greeted by the cashier. He was friendly and helpful. The first thing I noticed was his accent. He sounded exactly like the Hawaiian friend I mentioned earlier. So I thought this was a good sign. Both him and the other employee who gave us our food were super friendly and kind. That vibe and energy always makes me smile. My husband ordered the garlic chicken and I ordered teriyaki beef. They only had three options on the menu, and the third being pulled pork. Both plates came with rice and macaroni salad. Everything was delicious. Portions seemed a tad small for the price, but I really didn't care. I was full, and it was delicious. I text our friend about this business, and he said it is hands down THE best Hawaiian food in town. Which I definitely agree with. It is a small family run business, and I love it. Our friend said they've scaled back to only doing events like the spring game where we found them and catering, which makes me super sad. Because I would totally go out of my way to visit them and eat there again. I'd become a regular real quick. Despite the fact they only do events and catering, if you find them at an event you're attending, give them a try! It is so worth it. You'll thank me, I promise. Review 29 of 2025.

My MIL asked to have her beef cooked well-done and the cashier replied that their beef is pre-cooked? So that was a little unsettling. Visited Oakshire to get some food and found this Hawaiian truck we hadn't tried yet…read more We were excited to see a menu that was a little different from the other 2 Hawaiian trucks in town and a very reasonable price ($15 got 2 scoops of rice, slaw or Mac salad and a huge portion of the main protein). I tried the Cod Katsu plate because I have never seen a fish katsu before and was intrigued. This was a VERY good dish. The Katsu crust was super crunchy and held up well to the deliciously spicy katsu sauce and the juice from the slaw without ever getting soggy. The fish was nice and juicy and cooked perfectly. My only complaint is that there wasn't enough katsu sauce and I had to request more. My wife tried the Pork Bulgogi plate. It was very flavorful and tasty but the meat was so full of fat and gristle it was hard to eat. She tossed half the meat, that's why I took off the 5th star from this review. The profile looked pretty cool so we decided to go there for a drink. Once inside, it was pretty dark which is typical for a Tiki Bar. The decor was very good and there was a lot of it around. My fave was the mermaid skeleton above our seats. The drinks options were plentiful and they even had jello shots for a bargain price (we had a few of these for good measure!). I had The Monkey's Paw classic drink and another in our party had The Invisible Man drink. Each was lovingly prepared by the bartender who was super cool with the prep and conversations we had with him. I loved walking around and looking at all the decor on the walls and ceiling. There's a lot to see. There's even a door that leads to a courtyard with several food trucks ready to serve you. There is a stage near the entrance for bands and a small dance floor. I would love to return one evening to check out the atmosphere and do a little boogeying! Give this place a try. It's a well done Tiki Bar and one of the better ones I've been to.
