I Normally do my own nails and gel extensions, I thought I would pamper my self and save some time since I have been busy. Here is a list of issues I experienced 1. Instead of soaking or filing off my old set I did. She uses a nail extension tip and metal Cuticle cutters to Pry off my old soak off product on my nails for 1 1/2 hours breaking two of my natural nails, left Ring of fire on 2 other nails and damaging the rest. She kept apologizing and telling me sorry but kept on going at it. I was in so much pain that my fingernails were throbbing for more than 10 hours. 2. She didn't wash or sanitize my hands before she started, and I never saw her do her hands. 3. Missed half of the sidewalls on my pinky with acrylic and I had to tell her to fix it. 4. She Didn't take down old length or remove ink stains which are still under the new stuff she put on. 5. Didn't clean under nails or push back cuticles before or after 6. Majority of my nails don't have a strong apex, lumpy or Pitted. 7. Nails are not round or squarval but jagged and looked like really bad teath. 8. Some of my nails look like they had 2 weeks of growth and need a backfill/balancing 9. My Hyponychium and free edge Hurt and look horrible 10. Some of my natural nails still exposed on Lateral Folds and free edge of some nails 11. Asked for a matt Topcoat she didn't have any and gave me glossy 12. No cuticle oil read more

HORRIBLE I've been there a few times to get my eyebrows waxed and this morning some lady who was to busy on her phone was adamant they don't do eyebrows there. She just didn't wanna get off her lazy ass!!! I will NEVER GO BACK !!!!! Very RUDE!!! read more

I don't know why this place is getting bad reviews! I have gotten maybe 4 regular manicures there now... I've had them done by a few of the techs there and they are all A+! Only $10 for a manicure and they make sure it is done right! I usually tip $3 and the nails will last about a week... which is typical for a regular manicure. I highly recommend them!! If I could put a zero I would my sister and I went in for a pedicure and the water wasn't very warm and my feet after only a week feel awful they didn't scrape any dead skin off leaving my feet feeling the same way they did when I went in while getting them done we found out we weren't going to get our feet scraped and politely asked what the price would be after only having our feel soaked and they said 20$ each so we stayed and had awful feeling feet don't go here please not worth it at all. read more

I've been getting my nails done for years so I'm no novice when it comes to great customer service and what to usually expect at a nail salon....However I'm not used to "BAIT and SWITCH".....or my nails turning green.....(yikes) and falling off. Yesterday, I damaged one nail and saw that "Haverhill Nails" was open so I decided to pop in and get it fixed. On the price list it stated 3$ nail repair and 5$ for nail polish change. I had decided to fix my nail and change both my toe and nail color....However when the very RUDE nail technician told me the balance it was 10$ for polish change and 7$ for repair....to me that didn't compute... so of course I mentioned it. He very rudely told me that...the sign up was old, and the price was 17$. I paid that price, but swore I would never go there again and would spread the word of the dishonesty of this establishment..... I actually had said that before regarding this place when once before I went there and got a nail fungus and my nail turned GREEN and fell off...... Should have known not to chance it again!!!! So if you want to get swindled or have your nails turn an obnoxious shade of green and fall off....ENTER HAVERHILL NAILS!!!! PS.... since then they've changed their sign to reflect the astronomical price of 7$ to have ONE nail repaired....can you say RIP OFF? read more

This establishment is dirty. I made sure to wash my hands when I got home because I did not feel comfortable that everything was sanitized. The woman who did my nails did a good job, but she had her small child with her (probably 2). I had to ask the woman to change her daughters diaper because I could smell it. Well I was pleasantly surprised at this place! It's small, not very modern and the restroom is located down an elevator on the bottom floor. But, the service I got from Stephen was very good. For $20, I got a decent pedicure including an exfoliation! The leg massage was just OK, but next time I might try the deluxe pedi which I was told lasts 45 minutes and is only $5 more! I came in as a walk in later in the afternoon mostly because all my regular nail salons were about to close. They were very nice and the new owner was sweet as pie BUT they were training her technicians and had about 4 different women working on my nails. My full set took about an hour and a half. These new technicians did not speak ANY English making it really hard to explain what I needed changed. Two days later two of my nails broke and all of them were lifting up around the edges. Not for lack of trying and decent customer service but I wont be going back here for the quality purposes. read more

My 5 year old could of done a better job!!!!!..I went over Haverhill Nails to get a pedicure. I waited about 20 mins, soap wasn't used, my feed were not scrubbed my nail got oval and painted like a 5 year old would do over paper.. Yes, I tried hard not to be rude but Never again! read more

I went there for a shellac french manicure. The woman not only jammed my finger she took an hour and 15 minutes to do the worst job I have ever seen. Last time I got it done a few weeks ago down the street from there, they were quick and the results were gorgeous. The only reason I am giving them a star is because one of the men helped entertain my 1 year old who had become fussy in her carriage because the process was taking WAY too Long! I can't believe they charged me the full amount especially after I told them how unhappy I was, and of course I tipped out of courtesy. He did offer to redo but really I don't have another hour plus in my life in there as a working mother of 4. There are much better places to go in the area. read more

I'm not sure what the people in the reviews yelp hid in the "not recommended" reviews are talking about. That's probably why they are hidden but this place is great! I get a shellac manicure and sometimes can wait 3 weeks or more in between because they do so well. Kim is especially great. Always friendly, puts on 3 coats of color for me, and makes sure to put extra on the tips of my nail so it lasts longer. They are open later than most salons and are reasonably priced. Not to mention the hand/foot massages. Ah, so great! Highly recommended. read more

I was a regular at this nail salon when I lived close. The staff has always been very friendly when they see me come in. Many occasions I have seen them take walk-ins right at closing time with no fuss. By far the longest lasting acrylic nails, I could go a month before they show signs of lifting. Good hours, pricing and service. Tried finding another salon after moving a few cities away but after one too many disappointing experiences, would rather just drive 25 minutes for the pricing and quality at Haverhill Nails. Came in a few minutes early for an 1130 appointment and there were two techs working, the tech that was working on me seemed a bit confused when I said that I had an appointment for a remove/replace a full set, she was working on someone who must have come on right before me and I ended up beginning to soak off my old nails while being juggled with another customer, which wouldn't have been so terrible if by the time my nails were ready to be scraped the tech was still working on the above mentioned customer, the point where I decided to just skip the full set was when the techs small child started climbing on her, and this already an hour and a half after I had been there and, can't give a review on the acrylics I went in for, never got them done. I went here with my daughter before her prom. The man chopped her nails crooked and too short. More nail polish needed to be added to the nails to fill in spots on the nails. The man rubbed her feet with the pummace stone so hard my daughter had scrape marks on the bottom of her feet that hurt after we left. We are not coming back here and I don't recommend anyone step in this place (can't call it a salon). It got third place (hanging in their window) for nail businesses in Haverhill.
