The beer that Steve and I had was the Red Band which is a lager which I enjoy the majority of the time. Flavors to find with hopefully fun involved are malty, sweet (a natural sweetness probably from the flaked corn involved), hoppy, crisp and clean in the finish. Typical for this beer type it was light bodied also. Swag was indeed purchased here as I knew the likelihood of this happening was high and I got a very nifty t-shirt from the transaction.

Noble Beast is a great brewery in downtown Cleveland. This one felt more like warehouse breweries all over, but with its own urban jungle vibe of vines growing down from every skylight. Their beer is great quality, which is easy to see by all the awards they have displayed behind the bar akin to high school championship banners. The place was packed, but the bartenders were so nice, even chatting a while about the place. They have seating inside with picnic tables, small tables and chairs, and standing room around the bar and on the back small porch. Just based on our visit for one beer each, I look forward to returning sometime soon!

We sat indoors at one of the high-top tables across from the bar, and the atmosphere was very open and welcoming. They also have a really nice outdoor patio that looked like a great summer spot. My husband sampled a couple of their beers, including the Sunny & 60 hazy IPA and the Blood Brothers blood orange beer, both of which he really enjoyed. For dinner, I ordered the 12-inch Italian hoagie, which was huge and came with house-made chips and a delicious French onion dip. My husband chose the Black-n-Blue Burger with truffle fries, and my older son ordered the bacon double cheeseburger with regular fries. My youngest son went with the pan-seared salmon dinner, served with green bean casserole and risotto. Our server, Anthony, asked if he'd like a Caesar salad before his meal arrived, and we're glad he did because it was outstanding! The food was excellent across the board, the portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh and homemade. What really made the experience stand out, though, was our server Anthony. Since it was our first visit, he was incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable.
