Oh my gosh, there's a brewery in Massillon! Lured by the smell of French fries, my husband and I stumbled upon this little gem on a walk to downtown. There is a food truck parked out front...a seemingly permanent fixture...that acts as the kitchen for Paradigm Shift. There is seating outside, TV screens inside, and plenty of comfy leather couches. The beer is surprisingly amazing! The hubs and I did a flight. Our favorites were Spitfire, a red ale; a nitro milk stout; and some kind of smoky ale that was light and well...smoky (I thought it would be weird but it wasn't). We were totally taken aback by this place and will surely be back to try more! I hope they make a CIDER. Please, Paradigm Shift! I love ciders! If you're in the mood for some seriously good beer, mozzarella sticks, and a hamburger, come to Paradigm Shift!

A total gem. Due to COVID, we just did pick up and it's pretty awesome because you can get these "husky" tall boy cans. We tried Rodeo Clown and I'm sure we will be back to get more during our stay here in town. Great beer and a great way to support local.

Great neighborhood spot in a small town. The staff were friendly staff and provided excellent service. There's a nice patio with tables outside and a small indoor space. It's a casual atmosphere and very laid back. We shared a few flights before leaving for dinner. At the time of my visit there were no food options available, but they told us they were going to start getting food trucks outside more regularly. That may have happened by now. I liked all their beers and they had a lot of solid IPAs, but the selection was good overall if you're looking for variety. Paradigm Shift is a great low-key place to get some good beers and worth your time.

A hidden little gem in the middle of Massillon! Highly recommend a custom beer flight to try out a variety of their delicious brews. And don't miss the coconut cream ale. Their food is on point too - soft pretzels and beer cheese for the win. 10/10 recommend!

a glass of beer and a plate of food

Dank food and good drinks. I don't usually like chips, but theirs are amazing. Nice staff as well.

With the Brewmaster himself, Mike!

Great craft beers, friendly service, great place to chill before dinner. The Coconut beer and IPA (forgot the name) are fabulous. We enjoyed hanging out at the bar and meeting some wonderful local folks. We just stopped in for a drink but had so much fun chatting with Dan the novelist, Jason the blacksmith, Dennis the chef, Bill the engineer, Melissa the lovely bartender, and Mike the gracious owner. We're just here a few days on business... but with craft beer like this and local peeps like these guys... Paradigm Shift will definitely be a must to visit every time we're in the area. Go Tigers and Cheers!!

Great beer. Loved sitting outside and enjoyed a nice lunch at a very good price. Fun to visit a previously unknown place.

Do not go here unless you personally know the owner. All others get treated very poorly. Not recommended. This place is a waste of time.

Love the IPA, and I recommend the stout mixed with their coconut cream ale if you visit in the fall.

Tasted a flight of the five you see in the picture. Lots of potential in this new brewing…read moreoperation. I think they are only available in restaurants and bars right now. I tasted them at Iron Mann in Girard. Shout out to those guys for having this extensive selection, along with great, friendly service I'd say check out 1547 wherever you find them and see how your tastes compare to mine... My impression of the beers (always a subjective matter, of course) went down something like this: 1400 Miles From Home - a Key Lime Sour. Very light sour, to my liking, with all of the flavors in the description working together quite nicely Kolsch - another light version of this style. It is a good summer beer for someone who wants a little more flavor than a Bud/Coors/Miller Ohio Heat Wave - subtle habanero on the back end slowly builds, but that's about the only thing I'm picking up. This is a very light beer Hang 11 - a sweet IPA? The bitterness is as advertised. Would love to know the hops involved. Very drinkable, but don't expect a mouthful of IPA. More like a sweet, session IPA in my opinion Shooktown NE IPA - first taste hit very nice. Like most of them, it tastes very close to the description. No bitterness, but like others on the flight, it's a light version of this style. I'm used to a more potent hit of juice from a NE IPA, it's drinkable for sure

Nice variety of beer and seltzer. Only tried the IPA. Impressive flavor! Chill vibe. We will…read moredefinitely be back.
