We did a team dinner at the Brew Kettle. For this dinner we did a buffet instead of individual orders. Our buffet that was located on the second floor included the golf simulators as well. The food I tried included pulled chicken, bruschetta chicken pasta, chicken, fingers, brussel sprouts, sliders, and salad. Everything was really good. I was especially impressed with the quality since it was served buffet style. The downstairs is a decent restaurant and bar area. Like I stated previously, the second floor included golf simulators, a smaller bar, and a bunch of high top tables. Two story restaurant with simulated golf screens is nice. Downstairs is large. An elevator takes you upstairs to a rooftop patio, and sofa lounging areas in front of three golf screens. Get a reservation for these. Put names on the computer, choose a game and begin hitting. Hightop tables surround the area. We came for lunch. Food is better bar food and includes salads. We split a Reuben and had the recommended breaded green beans, which we would not order again. They had no taste, and had too much breading. The patio was busy. Service was fine. Came here with some family members during the big hall of fame game. It was about an hour wait for a total of 6. All staff members were very friendly and attentive. It was a loud but great atmosphere especially before the game. I ordered the pitmaster plate. The pulled pork, sausage and chicken were great. Spent the weekend in Canton and wanted to try a new restaurant. The Brew Kettle is located in the HOF village, so, when the HOF is not going on, there are a lot of parking options. Most involve a short walk though. When we arrived, we were promptly sat down on the 2nd level. It seems like a lot of the bar tables are super wobbly, but that didn't deter me from my main reason for visiting: Food. We placed an order of the fried green beans and cornbread for starters. Both came out and tasted really good. The cornbread has a cinnamon butter accompanying it- this takes the flavor to a totally different level. By itself, the cornbread is just okay. I ordered the chicken pasta dish as an entree and I found it satisfying. I thought it was good, but nothing amazing. However, I was full enough to take a to-go box for about half of the pasta. All in all, a solid place as an option if you are in HOF village or close. read more

We decided to try this new restaurant after visiting the Football Hall of Fame. They are located behind the HOF in the new village area. We arrived a little before noon and were the only people in the restaurant. The menu has some unusual items along with the usual pub menu. I decided on the Pastrami Reuben. The pastrami was lean and the kraut was good, I kind of wish they would have put a little more on my sandwich. My sister had the pulled pork and my niece had the margarita chicken sandwich. They thought they were very good. We all enjoyed the crispy fries. The service was good and the food came out in a timely manner. If I had any criticism it would charging $1.50 for 2 sides of ranch for the fries. I know it's only $1.50 but I think they should inform you when you ask. read more

I had been to the Brew kettle in Medina, so I had been looking forward to trying the Canton counterpart. It was not too busy for an early supper on a Friday afternoon and the food was pretty good. My son enjoyed the corn dog bites and I enjoyed the zucchini salad with pork belly on top. My son's father also had the Philly steak sandwich and it was very plentiful and filling. Beers were good and reasonably priced. The golf simulator looked really fun and my almost-four-year-old was mesmerized. We'll come back again to give it a try. read more

I ordered the chicken caprese sandwich with brussel sprouts as a side. The chicken was overcooked and dry. There were a few sad cherry tomatoes and hardly any basil taste at all, which doesn't exactly scream "caprese" to me. Maybe because the chicken was so dry it definitely needed more balsamic. As for the brussel sprouts - oh.my.god. Do NOT get these. I have an incredibly high tolerance for salt. I LOVE both salty things and brussel sprouts. These sprouts were way too salty for me. There literally was no other flavor except salt. I chewed twice and spit them out. I dug around to try different pieces because I thought maybe I just got a bad one. They were all like that. Nasty. I suppose this place is good for a beer before enjoying an event at the stadium, but I wouldn't get dinner here. There's a pizza place right near by that I've been to before and has better food, IMO. Been wanting to try this place since it opened and finally that time was last night. Got here around 5pm. Had about a 20 minute wait and then we got our table. Just a warning, if it's busy, it's going to be LOUD in here. It's just one of those places and the way it's designed that makes it so. Anyway, server was fine and friendly, But the food. Easily one of the worst Reuben's I've ever had. Just dry and hard to chew and swallow. Plus it was $17 for it. My wife's pulled pork sandwich was ok. Definitely expected more being right by the HOF and since they're charging so much for sandwiches. I'd try it one more time to see if it was better. ‍ read more

Beer was good a lot of options. The food was alright nothing really stood out as great. I had the seafood chowder and perch tacos. The soup had plenty of clams in it. The tacos were over taken by the slaw on top. Service alright I was there in the afternoon bout 20 people there but had to flag down waitress to get boxes and check. My son and I had lunch here on Sunday. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. Our server Kristina was very personable and had some great recommendations. I was there last July to have a beer & the service was horrendous, but I was willing to give the place a second chance, especially since they were newly opened at my last visit. Well, NEVER again! We waited an hour to get our appetizer & finally our dinner. Our waiter stopped by only a couple of times to apologize & to say the kitchen was "backed up", but never came over to see if we wanted another beverage, other than those two times in an hour. There were plenty of open tables, so they were not real busy. None of the 8 people at my table liked their food, but speaking about mine, it was nasty. I got tacos & the meat was burnt, the soft shells were hard & there was hardly any cheese or cole slaw on them. My side was Mac & cheese & a box of Kraft Mac & cheese would have been much better. There wasn't much cheese, but it was like a soup with the milk that it was soaked in. All the food was cold. It was a very disappointing experience. The manager comped two kids dinners because of the wait, but I can honestly say that was the worst experience & food ever. This could be a great place & I have been to the Hudson location, which was very good, but unless they improve, this place will be closed soon. Back at Brew Kettle for Championship Game night so unorganized, same person taking reservations, walkins and seating people makes for very long waits as she tries to juggle all three jobs on a busy day . I want to know where is the manager??! It should be his job to check on customers to see how they are help out where needed especially at a fairly new place have been here 3 times now , waitresses try hard to keep up we got the same one as last time quick and efficient once you get a table , lots of uncleared empty tables though with no one to bus them they need more help the ones here you can see are doing their best needs new management read more

Went here for the first time last night and excited to try a new place to eat. We ordered the appetizer smoked buffalo dip and home made chips. It was good and not too spicy. I ordered the bruschetta chicken pasta for my entree. The meal was okay, temperature was lukewarm to cold. My husband had the locals plate and it was so-so. Service was good, seated right away. Their menu changed two days before we went. No steaks any more. This is a beer joint or you can throw a ball against a big screen for $40-$60 bucks an hour. read more

We spent the evening at the HOF and decided to walk up and give Brew Kettle a try. Unfortunately, it was the wrong decision. For not being very busy, the service was slow and the food was not good. There were four of us and we ordered two appetizers; poutine and the Mexican corn dip and they were okay but definitely nothing special. Three of us had sandwiches and one had the cod dinner. The only bright-spot of the meal was the cod everything else was pretty much a complete disappointment. It's bar food it shouldn't be hard and it should be delicious. If you want to be a destination spot at the Hall of Fame you better get it together or you won't make it very long. Oh and charging for a side of mayonnaise (barely a tablespoon) and a side of ranch is pretty ridiculous maybe I wouldn't have minded the charge had it made the food more enjoyable. read more
