I wanted to finally give this establishment a review after coming a few times. I'll start off with the only down side, and that it's the place is under staffed. Service can be a little slow because of this. Other than that, the place is always clean, and maintained. The food consistency has remained the same,(which is important)! The staff is mostly friendly, and never rude. They have a secret off menu special, and it's a 9.99 deal of either fried or grilled chicken sandwich, or burger/bacon burger with cheese for either. For 12.99, they have upgraded burgers. The price includes bottomless fries and a drink! This is best deal out there! read more

The restaurant seemed clean and efficiently ran. The ultimate appetizer platter, you can choose 3 appetizers and 3 dips was awesome (not shown in pics). The chicken tortilla soup had a bite to it for sure even though really flavorful. The staff worked like your average Applebees. read more

The management said they couldn't display one of the nfl games because you guys don't have it. I explained to her it's an out of market game so they have to find it, it don't just pop up and considering Applebees is a paid sponsor of the nfl then they will have every game. I was just at the New Philadelphia location last week and they was able to do it for me no problem at all so I'm no understanding the issue with this location. read more

We ordered food for curbside pick up. We opened the bag we we got home and the ranch was spilled everywhere. My wife got mac and cheese...never put cheese on it, only dry ass noodles. Her chicken sandwich was so dry she threw it away. I got the riblets platter, the riblets were disgusting and couldn't eat them. The coleslaw had absolutely no flavor and i got the brownie bite. It was so hard i couldn't get my fork in it to try and eat it. They put the whipped cream in a container and was soup when i opened it. The one positive was the fries were good. It would of been easier to throw $50 in the trash than attempt eating that! I understand something may not be ok but 2 meals completely garbage! Never again. Service was a little slow but waitress apologized and said she had only been working the job for two weeks and was a bit overwhelmed due to the busy evening. We were chatting and in no hurry so didn't mind the pace except for when asking for more sauce for my hubby's and grandson's pasta. THAT could have been a little quicker. I ordered French onion soup and a Caesar salad. The soup was really tasty but had a little too much bread in it. The salad was a little too soaked in dressing for my taste but my hubby said there's no such thing as too much sauce. Guess it's all a matter of opinion. absolutely love applebees and go to this specific location atleast once a week.. last 2 times we have been there we have had chris as our waiter. HE IS THE WORST. didn't greet us for 15 mins, absolutely rude the whole time, interrupted me while speaking, rolled his eyes at us etc. i've been a server for 5 years, i know what good service is... if it wasn't for this pandemic i would have not tipped and said something to the manager! read more

this Apple's restaurant was good, but a bit slow considering the moderate crowd at the time! the serice was great and their attention throughout was excellent! the kitchen seemed to be the bottleneck! not horrible just a bit too slow! my grandson and i selected the 2 for $22 which includes an appetizer or dinner salads! the appetizer was good, but the three cheese pasta was so dry we both requested more sauce! they did eventually bring more! resturant, restoutside-and outside were clean! My wife and I shared some wings that were pretty tasty. Service was pretty good, not necessarily great. I can't really get too excited about a national chain though. I've become someone who enjoys the local, independent restaurants so much more. The only reason I go is to get half price appetizers after 10 pm. My fiance has several food alergies so we are limited on where we can go or what she can eat. We usually eat at Applebees pretty regularly and they are very accomodating. The food is usually really good but there have been a few occassions where I thought it was a little over cooked. The restaurant has always been clean and I can not remember a time where I have recieved poor service. They offer a wide selection of menu items including a kids menu. For people on a diet they offer five meals under 550 calories as well as five weight watchers options with point values listed on the menu ranging from 8 to 13 pointsplus. Finally they offer curb-side to go service allowing you to call in an order and pick it up without having to get out of your car. They usually run daily drink specials with our favorite one being the one for Long Island Ice Tea. I believe that the days this is on special is Tuesday's and Friday's but we also found out today that this is made with premixed alcohol. For less than a dollar you can request to get the top shelf alcohol which is mixed at the bar and worth the extra money. read more

We're in a rut when it comes to restaurants, so last nite we decided to try Applebee's again; hadn't been in years. We had a 25min. wait, which for a Sat. isn't bad, I guess. I ordered Kiwi ice tea, as I've never had it before. Little flavor and cloyingly sweet. Ordered their signature quesadilla burger. It sounded so flavorful on the menu. Bland! except for an excessive amount of salt! And the fries tasted frozen. Bob ordered a steak, medium. Came out cooked to death. He was almost half way thru before the waitress asked how everything was. She did offer another steak, but B. declined. They did take it off the bill, so that was nice. I can't thank the staff enough! We went here last weekend. I did the call ahead seating and explained that we were bringing in a special needs child and that we may or may not need a little extra assistance. When we got there it was very crowded with a line out the door. We only had to wait about 5 mins for our table. Our waitress (Jennifer S) was fabulous! And when we needed to modify an order in a way most restaurants have always refused, she jumped right on making it happen. A side order of chicken tenders isn't that much to ask for. She was able to charge us by the piece which totally worked for our needs. All the food was really good and hot. Came in a timely manner. We didn't feel rushed or neglected in anyway. Here's the reason for the 1 star. They have a little electronic item at the table called a Presto. It looks like something to keep kids busy when you're dining. But it's really a profit generator for the restaurant. My kid did something on it and my bill was charged $1 for using the Presto. I go out to dinner to relax and have a nice meal. Not to get ripped off by a freaking piece of crap game on my table. It looks like a courtesy and there's no indication you'll be charged. I hope Applebee's spends my extra $1 well because it cost them my business. I don't care how good the food is, if you take advantage of me, I won't be back. read more

First off the food was good. Not great but good. I would have given 4 stars but for the attitude of the server when we went in. We were 15 minutes early to order a baked potato and she acted like we had committed the unpardonable sin. Then my wife wanted coffee instead of a tea refill. Noooooo. Whenever I order carside to go, they always take at least 10 minutes to realize I'm sitting in my car waiting for my order that was supposed to be ready 15 minutes ago. The hot food is warm at best once I finally get it. My experience with inside service has been the same way. They seat you fairly quickly, but take forever to come around and get your drink and food order. They check up on you about once towards the end of your meal, if that. Most times we have to ask another server for our bill because our server has gone AWOL. If you want your meat cooked at a certain temperature, forget it. It will come out overdone or way underdone and tasting like it was reheated. The only reason I go there is to get their 4 cheese honey pepper mac n cheese which is delightful when brought out on time. read more

So first off I love Applebee's FOOD and some drinks. Service was absolutely horrendous. So my boyfriend and I walk in, immediately the hostess asks for our name and says that they're on a wait. We stand off to the side as a server comes up and (loud enough for everyone within a decent range to hear) rudely asks the hostess why they're on a wait. The hostess begins to explain and I tune out. I tune back in when she goes to seat a table of 5 at a booth (which they asked for) and that same server throws a fit. Then the server asks me and my boyfriend if we want to sit at the bar, we've been waiting for about 5-10 minutes, it's still covered with glasses and plates. We say no thank you and sit on the bench since it is now clear. The hostess calls for the older couple that had come in before us but can't find them then asks us where they went. 5 minutes later we are seated at a semi clean high top table in front of the kitchen and bar (that's still not clean by the way). We sit there with our menus for a good 10-15 minutes and are not even greeted. We hit the "call server" button on our kiosk to even be greeted. Once our server finally arrives we order our drinks, server asks to see my ID, not a problem until she starts pulling my wallet out of my hand and blaming a glare that she can't see my birthdate... I just turned 21 last week. *FUN FACT all licenses are vertical until you turn 21, then they are magically horizontal.* So she eventually lets go of my wallet and writes down our drink orders on a napkin, tries to talk me into a different drink. Had I wanted that drink I would have ordered it. 5 minutes later another server comes up and asks to see my ID, seriously? So we finally get our drinks, whilst listening to very inappropriate conversations between the servers (again we are right in front of the kitchen) and the bar is just now getting cleaned up. Then our server comes back for our meal order. Again when we order tries to talk my boyfriend into a different meal. If he wanted that he would have ordered it!! If you're running a special mention that BEFORE we order. And she again writes it down on a NAPKIN. I am allergic to mushrooms so I tell her no mushrooms on my food. No problem. Food is great, all is well. Then comes the bill, as a former server I was always trained to put the bill on the man's side of the table. I don't carry a purse, just my wallet when I need it, and even though I was paying and my wallet had been sitting on the table the duration of our dinner the bill should not have been set directly in front of me. My only other issue was how trashy some of the employees looked. Again as a former server I always had my hair tied back in a neat ponytail with little to no makeup and little to no nail polish/fake nails. The hostess was the worst of all. Her hair literally looked like she just rolled out of bed and her make up looked like she let a small child finger paint on her face. And her nails looked like she could claw someone eyes out EASILY. The only reason I'm giving a star is due to the fact that the food was edible and the Indians were playing on the tv I was watching. Absolutely the WORST service I have ever received or experienced. Especially when I have worked in a restaurant as both a hostess and a server.
