    Risotto balls (appetizer)
    Catrina D.

Went here on a Saturday night at the recommendation from the stark county take out page on Facebook and it did not disappoint. Had the risotto balls and calamari, both delicious and highly recommend, we were torn between the Bugsy's pasta and the pescatore pasta so my fiancé and I each got one, they were both fantastic! The service here was the quickest we have had since Covid, we never waited on refills and our entrees came out quick. They have a patio, and drink specials, don't let the "strip mall" location deter you, this place is the real deal!

Place has an awesome atmosphere, great layout, inviting staff. The service was great, the people were nice. The Food: I ordered veal parmesean. It comes with garlic butter style linguine, and the veal comes "on a bed of marinara sauce" By bed of marinara they mean an ounce maybe two ounces of sauce. I asked for more sauce as it is a Parmesan dish, 99c for a small plastic cup of sauce. Or 2.99 for a cup! I got charged for both the cup and the ramaken of sauce. The veal was very dry and tough. The noodles were "ok" I typically don't go out of my way to leave bad reviews but in speaking with the staff they all seemed to feel the same way I do about the dishes. It's a shame because the place has potential...

    Summer seasonal menu

Such a hidden gem! Always a great meal! The menu is a nice blend of traditional Italian with plenty of non Italian options if your not feeling like pasta. The seasonal menu is excellent. Obviously items that the chef likes to put together. The service has always been very friendly and attentive.

    Misto Salad

I was really skeptical about coming here because A- it's next to a tattoo shop lol and B- it looks like a complete hole in the wall. Y'all... IT. WAS. OUTSTANDING! We arrived at 6pm on a Saturday and I thought for sure we'd have a wait, but we were seated immediately. Our server promptly took our drink order and told us a little about the menu. We ordered the risotto balls... do yourself a favor and order these! You get 6 and they're in a creamy sauce with tomatoes and cheese and are just delicious. We ate them so quickly, I didn't even get a picture. We ordered dinner and I got the chicken parm and my husband got the chicken Marsala, we both got the upgraded Misto salads (you'll want to do this) and we got a side of crispy potatoes to share. There wasn't room in our bellies for dessert, but we WILL be back and I'll get the tiramisu for sure. This was such a pleasant surprise for us and I am so glad we found a non-chain, not-at-the-Strip place to go back to!

Meatball sub for $10.99. 3 small meatballs and almost all bread. Charged $0.50 for marina on the side. .Terrible

Terrible. Got 3 small meatballs for $10.99 and charged $0.50 for extra marinara that they put on side, not sandwich. Place started good but keeps getting worse and worse.

    Round 1 looks good huh!

7 years later. What a disappointment. I returned to the shrimp Diablo. Who wouldn't??? Not spicy. Noodles were undercooked. Sad. Very sad.

The was decent but I felt like my husband's Alfredo with spinach and shrimp needed some seasoning. I had the lobster roll and that was good.

The food was bland. My lingerie was way over cooked. The service was good. But they weren't busy. It's cute.

I had never really heard much about the food, but I found it to be pretty delicious. It's not a cheap dinner by any stretch and this is more of a special-occasion type of venue. It was my birthday and though I don't really like to celebrate (or admit to) my birthday anymore, it was a nice place to try. My family, party of six, was seated in a room upstairs by ourselves. Cool little private dining alcove, painted with dark walls and sexy, almost what I would consider Halloweenesque, decor. Yessss, now they are singing my SONG. Service was good. Don't expect to get bread or any added extras with your meal. Pretty straightforward. We did try a couple of their specialty cocktails. The "Black Moon Rising" cocktail was a fun novelty, served in a skull-shaped mug, but it was a little sweet for my taste. The "Fashionably Late" was solid (similar to an old fashioned). Many things on the menu did seem to have a degree of spiciness, and it is not really a place that children would find something that they love. My son had the portobello mushrooms, which were okayyyyy, but very garlicky and peppery for a five year old's taste. I had the lemon shrimp and rice, which was just delicious. I loved it. My son liked that too and I think he probably would have enjoyed another order of that more than what he ordered. The French onion soup was hearty and good. Someone else in our party had the steak, which I tasted (yum) and the mahi mahi, which I did not get to taste, so it MUST have been good. Slice of HUGE birthday cake for dessert. Pro tip: don't order coffee with dessert. The coffee is weak and not good for $4.50 a cup. Anyhow, overall, I think it was a good dining experience, although I might make some different choices next time. Oh, and it IS allegedly haunted, but the hostess, nor the server know the details of the stories. Something about a dentist and a murder and another story about a little girl. My curiousity is piqued. Maybe a year or two ago I had reached out via email about hosting an event here for my tour company and I think my clientele would enjoy the stories and the history behind it all! Itching for more.....

There is a top area that has some tables along the walls but I would describe it mostly as the "bar area" then there is a downstairs area with table seating. We preferred to sit in the downstairs area both times we were there. There are keno TVs for us to play our keno and it's not too noisy when it's busy. Our server the first time (I believe his name was Coby) was just a delight. I was debating on trying the chili cheese dog and he brought back a small sample of the chili for me to try before ordering and he was very sweet and enjoyable for the whole experience. Our server the second time, an older gentlemen, was less enjoyable but maybe he was having a bad day because he was a little busy. We loved playing our keno here and have had really good luck here. We agreed it was our new keno spot. Food: The first time dining, I tried the coney dog with cheese. The dog and the chili themselves were delicious. There was jus FAR too much bread. My partner got the philly cheesesteak and said that was the same case for her. We both had to pull off most of the bread. But the flavor was there on both dishes. A slightly smaller hoagie bun (or even steaming the buns to order) would really help these two dishes. The second time dining, I decided I was going to get the coney dog again but ask for a regular bun. I very much had a "3 bears" moment. The small bun got too soggy with the chili. SO, next time, I am going to get the half pound falconey with a regular bun AND light chili. That should be just right. LOL. My partner had the side salad this time and fired, She loved the fries just like last time and said the salad was basic but good. No sad lettuce or gross vegetables. I also had their chilled bottles of rootbeer both times with a shot of whiskey. Refreshing and delicious. We want to come in on a Sunday to try out the steak special.

We came in close to closing and had a table full of kids, which probably didn't help the overall experience. The service felt rushed and a bit short, though I get that it was late and everyone was likely ready to wrap up the night. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, just not one that made us want to linger. If we come back, it'll likely be earlier in the evening and just with adults. We arrived around 8:00 PM on a Friday night and was immediately taken to a booth. The service was on point despite the Coke that arrived looking like Ice Tea; which we sent back. The beer battered onion rings were just okay as the onion was saturated inside and had no crunch. The Cajun Wings had some kick, however I wasn't impressed with the flavor profile. The Pizza was an epic fail and I would never order this over sauced Pizza again. The middle of the Pizza dough was raw. When I asked what they were known for, we were told Pizza and Wings. I guess they missed their target on both. At least we can say that we finally tried it, but won't be recommending. As far as their consistency with a full parking lot: It can't be on the food quality and probably based on affordability from booze to food.
