Pepperoni and cheese - A large rectangular pizza with one half topped with pepperoni slices and the other half with cheese, served on a metal tray. The pizza has a golden-brown crust and melted cheese. The tray is placed on a dark wooden table, with ketchup bottles and a small slice of pizza on a napkin nearby. A person’s hand and part of their arm are visible in the background.

Really cute little spot to grab delicious pizza and salads. :). The pizza is really nice and the chicken Caesar salad was super fresh. Great wait staff, very friendly!!

Eggs, sausage and hash browns - A breakfast meal on a white plate includes two fried eggs with slightly runny yolks, two sausage links, hash browns, and two slices of toasted bread. The plate is on a brown table, with salt and pepper shakers, a mug, and other plates visible in the background. The setting appears to be a casual restaurant or diner.

I recently had breakfast at Michael D's Cafe. I ordered eggs, sausage links and hash brown. Eggs weee done well, hash browns were plentiful and warm. The sausage links were great but only two of them. The service was not good blur our waitress was tasked with serving the entire restaurant which is not optimal. The ambiance was average which is fine. I will return and hope for better staffing

The bar area. - A bar interior featuring multiple flat-screen TVs mounted on the wall, showing various sports games. Patrons are seated at the bar and tables, engaging in conversation and watching the screens. The bar area has bottles and glasses on display, with a mix of people including men and women of different ages. The decor includes framed pictures and a clock on the wall, with a window providing natural light.

Very average food. If you stick to breakfast plates its better. The burger is a joke... many better choices in the area.

Love love love this place. It's a good "go to" place. I have never been disappointed in the food or the service. Their wings are excellent.

The line from the counter stretched all the way back to the door, which gave us plenty of time to people watch and admire the beautiful space after picking our drinks. The baristas were friendly and welcoming. The line was moving slowly - a combination of people asking questions and an ordering process that seems a little inefficient (we noticed they were tracking available pastries on Post-It notes). Our drinks were available quickly, and they were delightful. I had the spiced orange chai with oatmilk and my husband had a gingerbread latte. My chai was sweeter than I would prefer, but now I know that for next time. Everything in the pastry case looked incredible. We passed this time because we had finished breakfast. I'd be interested in coming back in the evening to try some of the cocktails. I think they have some kinks to work out when they're busy; overall, it was a good experience. Union Park is a nice addition to the Belden area!

Around 6pm the coffee side shuts down and it shifts. Coffee was fantastic, the space feels comfortable, and the homemade pastries... unreal. They look phenomenal and taste the same. If you're anywhere near the area, give this place some love. It's a local business doing things right, and I'll definitely be back.

We started with the fried green tomatoes, which were a bit more on the "fried" side than the tomato flavor coming through, but still very tasty and I'd order them again. I had the scallop special with rice pilaf, and they were hands down the most tender scallops I've had in years. My wife had the pork cutlets, which were excellent. Between the atmosphere, food, and friendly staff, we left full and happy--no leftovers here!

The server who greeted us was warm and welcoming and the young lady who took care of was polite. She used a piece of paper to go over the small plate specials as there were more on her list than on the menu. Glasses of water arrived with quickness and our beverages came shortly thereafter. My pint of Blue Moon came with a pour about an inch and a quarter from the top and below temperature. I find that when you see over 8 handles from one horizontal tower you lose temperature control on the first pour. We started off with some small plates: Spanakopita Eggrolls- which included your traditional flavor and a wonton wrapper and they were okay. The Special Small Plates- Honey Walnut Shrimp arrived with Brussel Sprouts which weren't advertised but we were okay with. This sweet dish was very not sugar friendly and the shrimp lacked crispness. In fact the coating was so soggy that the batter just came off when picking it up. The pricey Vietnamese shrimp and crab cakes (Small Pates) were also average. You definitely picked up on the amount of filler at first bite and also noticed that the center was not at temperature and too creamy. Our main dishes showed and my wife opted for the Special Main: Cod, but she thought it was so so especially at the price charged. My Pork Chop was cooked to my requested temperature and needed some help with the salt and pepper shaker. The accompanying pasta was very firm and had enough Olive Oil on the plate to to help out the pasta. The green beans were fine. There was no dessert for us, but our server used her trusty paper to give us the run down on their desserts. I boxed up my remaining leftovers and paid the check. Be advised that everyone is now charging a percentage for using a credit card, so be advised as it is listed at the very bottom of their menu.

WOW. Where to start...Okay so first of all, delicious, creative, well seasoned food is really hard…read moreto come by, especially in this area, but good fortune knocks it out of the park every-time. This was our second time at good fortune and we were just a pleased as we were the first time. There are two types of restaurants, some that feel they have to go over the top on decor and atmosphere to make up for the fact that their food is mediocre and others that let there food speak for itself. Good fortune is the latter. It definitely has a fun retro vibe, but the cocktails and food are what you come for. First, let's discuss their old fashioned. It is the perfect blend of smooth and sweet. Also- their ice cubes are top notch. If you're thinking this doesn't make a difference in a drink, think again. They are clear as glass and do not melt quickly, so you can enjoy your drink without it getting watered down as you sip. This was the second time we ordered the party eggs and they were incredible. When they brought them out I felt myself become a little disappointed when I saw they were not a traditional deviled egg like they had been in the past. But as soon as I took a bite I quickly recanted that notion and was pleasantly surprised. The eggs were pickled perfection with a nice touch of spice and crunch on top. The asparagus was everything. Tender with lightly crisped florets, topped with a beautifully seasoned harissa and herb dressing. This creative approach to a traditional vegetable dish made it a stand out. The loaded potatoes, y'all! A great blend of hearty, starchy and creamy. The creme fraiche added class and sophistication to this crowd pleasing dish. Bread Pudding- Roman (head chef of good fortune) told us to think of it as the offspring of bread pudding and monkey bread. He wasn't wrong. It was the custardy goodness that you want from bread pudding topped with the salty, carmely goodness of monkey bread, served a la mode. It got better with every single bite as the icecream begin to melt into the dish. All this to say, GO HERE!!!! The staff is incredibly kind and personable. And the food is exactly what this area needs. It feels nostalgic but inventive at the same time. I can't wait to go back to try their next seasonal menu. Way to go good fortune. This is our new favorite place.

It's one of the newer additions to Hall of Fame village. Myself and 2 friends arrived at 8pm on a Friday night. They were pretty dead and already starting to clean, but the staff was nice. I ordered the Crunch Wrap as my entrée however it's not what I was expecting. It was more like a Cheesy Gordita Crunch than a Crunch Wrap. Still tasty, but a bit small and not what I was expecting. My friend ordered a cocktail which I tasted and it was refreshingly tasty. My friend and I both ordered the Ohio Buckeye dessert, it was quite delish! We agreed the ice cream included was too small though considering how rich the actual dessert was. The menu has a lot of either items so I think I would go back and try again. Cons: -Parking - if you don't get one of the roughly 10 spots out front, you will be parking in a lot uphill. -Hours - they close at 8pm on weekdays, 6pm Sundays, and 9pm on Fridays and Saturdays. This feels a bit early considering the area and type of spot it it.
