Green chili burger
Amanda T.

Why oh why oh WHY has it taken me so long to go here?? (Probably because it is not within walking distance of my apartment downtown) but it is totally worth the very short drive!! When you pull up you see a renovated house that is now a restaurant/bar. It is very cute inside but we finally had some sunshine, so we decided to take advantage of their outdoor seating. Beers GALORE! Many options (which we love) and many different food options as well. They have burgers, sandwiches and pizza and we chose burgers today. I ordered the green chili burger. YUM!! I am one of those who does not like any pink in my hamburger, so I am destined to eat dry burgers. Not here though!! My burger was still very juicy and flavorful and not dried out at all, for this alone they get 5 stars from me as they know what they are doing! Great atmosphere, great service, great food! Will definitely be back!!

Came here by accident because my husband originally wanted to go somewhere else but put the GPS for this place. But since they were dog friendly, we decided we might as well try this place! My brother and friend joined us for this extravaganza! My husband and I both got the green chili burger which was cooked to our liking which is kind of a rare occasion at some places. My brother ordered the pork belly nachos as our appetizer and it was so delicious that our table was so quiet until they were gone. The green chili burger presentation was absolutely gorgeous but unfortunately lacked in flavor. My husband and I truly get that it was very under seasoned which was kind of disappointing since we had to result to the hot sauce to give it some flavor. The service here was truly amazing! As soon as we sat down they ran and grabbed some water bowls for our fur babies which was very thoughtful. Since it was chilly outside, we went to sit by the fire pit with our beverages prior to receiving our gorgeous plates of food. Definitely come and try this place with your furry friends!

Dying for this place to open back up. All of the bartenders and staff are great and knowledgeable. Consistently has a great beer selection and great bar food.

We came here for brunch on a Sunday morning and had no trouble getting a table. My son and daughter-in-law live in Cleveland and come here frequently. I had the braised short rib hash. It was very filling and delicious! The poblano peppers gave it a nice little kick. My wife enjoyed her butcher belly Benedict and could not finish all the potatoes. They have a very large selection of beers both on draft and in bottles. The service was very good and this is definitely a place we will return to.

Wow.....I have never had their food or brunch but I am beyond thrilled I did! It opens at 10am Sunday and we got there right at 10 and was the first in the door. Good thing we did as by 10:30 they started to fill up! The service was great and the food was so delicious. Even stole a bite of my friends meal and their pork belly was like butter in your mouth. Next time I go back I'm getting that!

Sometimes you know you are going to over order and over eat. And this was one of those times. I will not choose between short rib poutine and the mac n' cheese pizza of the month. So I got both and I ate both. Yes, I felt stuffed and weird when done, but I regret nothing.

Came here the other night for a quick bite, and overall had a pretty average dinner - I had the Joshua burger and I think it probably would've made for really good drunk food, but it was just too greasy, with a tough patty and too much sauce. But the service was friendly, even if they did miss part of our order.

Sometimes the food is so delicious that you forget to take a picture. That is exactly what happened tonight. I had a wild mushroom pizza and devour the entire thing. Beer was cold and delicious, really appreciate being able to come somewhere to get a good variety of levels. Awesome outside seating area and when it started to rain they let you come inside with my dog which I really appreciate it. Wait staff was super friendly In would definitely make this a local watering hole.

I wasn't sure what to expect here, but the Tremont Taphouse is a dimly lit nicer hip dive bar, with a can mural on the wall. The staff that works there is really cool, though, and it was a neat little place to hang out. We didn't get food there, just drinks. It wasn't too crowded on a Saturday night, and they even had an orchestra for Oktoberfest. There were tons of people there for it and they were selling small and big das boots! Unfortunately we didn't know much about it before hand. Regardless, we still had a good time. I got a strawberry cocktail drink that was a little strong for me but still drinkable. It was a $10 drink but I think it was worth the money. The waiter was wonderful and really knowledgeable about the menu - he helped my boyfriend pick out a great fall beer for the season. He even went out of his way to ask me how my drink was, and when I said it was a little strong, he fixed it by adding a little more simply syrup. They had a great outdoor patio with cute lights as well, and a decent amount of parking next to the establishment. They also have a big TV at the back of the bar for sports and whatnot. I would definitely come back to hang here and recommend this to someone looking for a divey bar to hang out in with a good, comprehensive beer list and kinda pricey but good cocktails. (Which even have biodegradable straws!)

Still enjoy this place. Great spot to chill at on a lazy weekend afternoon. Have not made it here in quiet a while, but stopped in recently for some brunch food to get stuffed with. Biscuits and Gravy $14 - not as fantastic as I remembered, but still good. The Breakfast Burrito $15 was better, that goat cheese really makes it. Cinnamon Rolls $9 were good, just the icing was runny and never hardens. Service was friendly.

The Grilled Cheese on special - filled with cheddar, German sausage and red onions. Side of fries, make sure to ask for the jalapeño aioli!!

Oh em gee!!! Tremont Taphouse rocked my world. Last night I stopped by in hopes of a solid, savory dinner. Let me tell you, I got that and more. I ordered the grilled cheese they had on their Oktoberfest themed specials menu. I was planning on ordering the Taphouse fries too, but our waiter let me know the only difference between those and the side order was the jalapeño aioli they came with, so he brought some with my meal. The grilled cheese was perfectly grilled on hearty bread. It was filled with flavorful cheddar, decadent and dense German sausage and the perfect amount of red onion. They should seriously consider adding this sandwich to their regular menu. It was TO DIE FOR. The fries were hand cut style with a perfect crunch- but the real star of the show was that jalapeño aioli. With a perfect silkiness and kick of spice, this dipping sauce was the perfect compliment to not only my fries, but the grilled cheese as well. For my first experience at Tremont Taphouse, I was absolutely blown away. Mark this place down as one of my faves in CLE.

Covid is interesting. Check in from outside, patio. If you sit out on patio you have to order from window for drinks and food. Also bus your own table. If you dine inside it appears to be different. Beautiful patio with tent and lights. No heaters. I planned poorly and was freezing. I could've probably gone indoors, but maybe next time. The wife and I had a beer. Apparently their beer is from Butcher and Brewer sister restaurant. Never been to it. But would definitely come back here.

Great food, the burgers were a big hit with all of us and the fries were hot and crispy. Nice place to hang.

So, I quickly messaged a good friend on December 30th (afternoon) and we planned to arrive for dinner. DINNER - The style is TAPAS so the food is small plates. Dinner was delicious. My friend and I ordered several dishes to share including sides (mushrooms, broccolini, and eggplant), rice, and 2 meats (sirloin steak and chicken skewers). The flavour was rich enough but not too strong. Pricing is slightly high but the quality is great. It's sad that the investor decided to close down this Japanese restaurant so early. They only opened in July 2025 so after 6 months they are closing. It takes time for a restaurant to see growth in customer base and money. Perhaps they didn't advertise well enough but whatever the case, I'm glad I got to try their food. Customer service was amazing. My friend and I were greeted when we arrived and were checked on throughout the night. **** GOAL of 365 reviews in 2025 - 60/365 total reviews in 2025 - 841 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 31 December 2025

We tried 6 dishes and 2 sashimi dishes and it was a perfect amount of food for 3 people. The food came out extraordinary fast too I was shocked. They were busy but efficient, I was quite impressed. The must haves are the chicken rice bowl, the yellowtail, and the beef cheek. I love the wide variety of food options for vegetarians and meat lovers. I will say, the food still needs some fine tuning. The flash fried octopus had a weird texture and the sauce was way too overpowering. The squash was good but didn't have anything that made it stand out than anything I could've made at home. Excited to come back to keep trying out more flavors!

CLE's best kept secret!…read more A few of my friends raved about Smoke & Mirrors, so I finally checked it out. I stopped in during Stargazers Ball hosted by YoreCraeft Productions. It was a fun cosmic costume party at Smoke & Mirrors. Smoke & Mirrors delivers on their promise, there are mirror accents and intermittent smoke. They also have a lot of silver accents that have a cool juxtaposition with the cave look. You can find this nightclub underground at Clandestina on West 25th. Enter the club by going through mezcalería (Clandestina) and going downstairs. The club calls themselves "subterranean catacomb club." I'd describe it as a nightclub giving off speakeasy vibes with some exposed brick, cave vibes, and sultry red illumination. It's a very mysterious dungeon looking club. It's raw and unusual for the local nightclub scene in the very best of ways. The coolest space in this club is the once upon a time coal room that serves as a little private nook to sip your cocktails. The rest of the club has one dance floor, some comfy seats against the wall, and a small bar. It's very intimate. The club is mostly known for its EDM DJs. Don't expect big names but expect good music. You can find their lineup on their IG @smokeandmirrorscle. They're open on Thursdays for karaoke, and Saturdays for DJ and dancing. The party that I attended had a lot of dancing and good vibes. The club seems to have a cover charge, but the amount is not shared on their socials. The menu consists of cocktails, craft beer, and wine, which is a generous selection for a night club. There were some themed cocktails during my visit ranging from $8-$14. I certainly plan to stop by during a regular weekend night to check out the full experience and DJ's. You should too. If you drop in, stop Clandestina bathroom for a selfie with flattering light. Can't wait for my next visit!

I didn't notice until doing this review and looking up the menu that they didn't put the apples on my pizza =( It tasted OK, nothing amazing, unfortunately. I did really loved the gluten free crust though! I subbed pepperoni instead of the ham and that part was really good. My partner didn't love his chicken wrap. The huge one inch solid chunk of lettuce stalk he found within was off-putting and the flavor just didn't hit. The service was helpful and attentive. We had to get our own waters from the stations near the bar, and had to get lemons from the bartender, but that's just how the place does things There is a lot of seating in this building, mainly large benched tables. There's a hidden cove under the stairs that has board games and a couple arcade games. There is a parking garage SLIDE on the same block that was fun to check out. If you follow the building left or right, there's an opening to walk through and you'll see the slide. You go up 2 floors, there are signs, and you can take the twisted slide down 2 stories.
