This place is just the cutest. Add yummy food and friendly service and my fam and I were very happy on our lunch out during vacay. Did I mention that they have local craft beers available too? Absolutely stop in if you're ever in the area.

Off to a good start. Compostable straws!! Lots of Jerry Garcia memorabilia. We stumbled upon this establishment while coming to Vermillion for the Ice Festival. Glad we found it. I had the Roasted Love Beet Salad. Didn't even need to use the dressing. The salad had a healthy potion of tasty hummus on top and I just used that. I am a big beet fan so the more the merrier.

You don't have to be a hippy to love this place, but being a hippy makes the experience better. The inside is small, so social distancing is a little difficult. The coffee bar is always a good choice if wanting to keep the distance. The decor is the best part of the place. I'm a huge hippy Woodstock fan and really believe that in my past life I was there. From Janis Joplin to Jimmy Hendricks, music covers are spread over the walls which brings the vibe of being in the audience to life. Oh, wait.... we need to talk about food - right? Not Woodstock music and performers. The Woodstock Cafe offers soups and sandwiches. The menu is different each time we go, which is about once a year because we live in Cincinnati. They also offer a wide range of coffees, teas, and hot chocolate drinks. Whether you are looking for a place to take a break or for a delicious lunch, this is the place to go. You will love it!

Woodstock has always been a place I enjoyed but it's recently become my favorite spot in Vermilion. My family has ordered takeout from them several times recently and we always love it. The decor is so cute. From the Woodstock memorabilia to vintage concert posters and general hippie vibes, I love it in here the minute I walk in. It's the type of place you could stay and truly hangout a while. They also have a small outdoor seating area if you're seeking some fresh air. The salads at Woodstock are big and hearty. We usually end up each getting a salad and splitting a pizza. My favorite is the Maui Waui Hawaiian pizza. While most artisan pizzas tend to me thin and flimsy, these are anything but! It has a tasty sauce with plenty of delicious toppings. This is truly one of our favorite eateries in Vermilion! Great food and vibes.

What a great place this is. Would have never stopped here without reading the positive Yelp reviews. Very unique little stop. It's a mix of tables with bar stools, regular chairs, and large wicker bucket chairs. Great seating for this size of place. It's coffee shop meets a beer list with good food and great music. They also sell plants. Very nice people. Good prices. A must stop!

Felt completely safe eating on patio on a late Saturday afternoon the service was exceptional and friendly. The food here is salad and sandwich fare in addition to their pizza. I had the magic bus chicken sandwich and it was excellent. A perfect blend of seasonings and bacon was crumbled which is way better than strips. Served with house chips and coleslaw, it hit the spot. It is a fun and funky little oasis in the middle of downtown Vermilion and the names of their menu items alone will make you smile. Only alcohol is beer, but they have a nice list of craft beers to choose from. Get in your magic bus (or car or whatever) and get yourself to this fun spot because the food will not disappoint.

Was driving along the North Coast on RT 6 and decided to stop in Vermillion Ohio for some coffee. Woodstock Cafe was right in the small crossroad area so we thought we'd give it a try! What a cool little cafe! We ordered latte and a chai tea, service was friendly and the Baristas were great as was our drinks. We ended up ordering the "Far out man" pizza. Thin, crispy crust, fresh topping and awesome taste! Don't miss out if your passing through or live in the area!

When I get to by usually ask them to make sure that the temperature is hot. And we did not say that. So this is on me. The soup was definitely warm, but it wasn't as warm as we would like. But that is on me, as I said. We were discussing what to order, and I guess the server. Heard me because I don't like fries and I was saying I just didn't need a side item anyway with my being on a glp1. Anyway, when we were ordering, I. My husband said he was fine with the fries. And the server suggested the Mushroom fries for me and omg, they were fantastic. We both love them. They were lightly breaded, two different types of mushrooms. Fantastic. Anyway, we both got a lobster roll, which we should have just got one and shared it. We got both the hot and the cold. And just kind of tried to share bites, but the soup filled me up. The cocktails and the desserts looked amazing too. But oh I was so full. The service was great. The atmosphere was great. I liked the decor I guess it was a bank hundred years ago. It was kind of a close tight fit, though. The servers had to squeeze between people. It's a small narrow place. If you're a really large person, I don't know. If you'd feel uncomfortable, or if you'd be bumped into a lot It was a bit pricey, but lobster always is. So i'm not mad at that. And it was really good. Great for a date night. If we lived in the area, we would definitely come here. Regularly.

It was empty when we got there about 20 minutes after opening, however the place filled up quickly! James ,our bartender, was patient as we decided what to order while enjoying our drinks. The food, service, and friendly atmosphere were AMAZING! So much so that we made a reservation to eat here again when we come back out in two weeks. Definitely worth trying if you're in town.

Had nothing going on today, so my wife and I decided to go down to the flats in Cleveland. Lunch at…read more"the Lakehouse" with a nice view of the river and the west bank would be a great distraction. Followed up by a stroll on the boardwalk and we would have a great afternoon. We got there at 11:45am. Upon entering, a pleasant young lady greeted us and, as they were not at all busy, told us we were welcome to choose any table we liked. So we sat right at the window along the river with a very nice view. Quickly thereafter a bubbley, smiling face arrived by the name of Sara. She brought us our water and took our drink orders and away she bounced... marvelous. Shortly after, she returned with our drinks. She very effectively answered our questions and we placed our orders. We were both not too hungry so we stayed with the starters menu. We shared an order of the "Heavenly Biscuits" and I added the "Marinated Olives". Then we both had a bowl of the "Lobster Bisque". Everything showed up in a timely fashion and in proper order. All of it was excellent. I must say, the bisque was exceptionally meaty. A pleasant surprise. As we were finishing up I mentioned I was looking forward to coffee. When Sara arrived I told her we would both like a cup as soon as we were done. With a big smile she said I heard you talking about it and already started a fresh pot for you. I was amazed... such a simple thing, but an example of extraordinary service. My compliments to Sara and the Lakehouse for employing her. After finishing our coffee we took a long stroll on the boardwalk all along the East Bank. It was a very nice afternoon. I recommend the Lakehouse and I highly recommend Sara... ask for her.

The house-made guacamole was absolutely delicious and packed with fresh flavor. It was the perfect way to start our dining experience. The short rib French dip was outstanding. It was loaded with tender, flavorful meat, and the au jus was rich, savory, and as flavorful as they come. Every bite was incredible. The fish and chips were equally impressive. The fish was tender, juicy, and cooked perfectly, with a light, crispy coating that complemented it beautifully. Overall, a fantastic meal with excellent service and food that exceeded expectations. We will definitely be back!
