I don't have a picture but that should be a testament to how good this place is. Something that I want to comment on first is the affordability factor. With prices going up all around us I was shocked at how inexpensive this pizza was. I read a few reviews before I tried this place and one person said that the pizza was greasy. It wasn't at all. This is the best pizza in Vermilion! I spent my summers growing up around Vermilion, so this area is very special to me. Vermilion has many pizza places, but in my opinion, this is the best of the best. Quite literally, there might be 10 pizza places in this small city alone. But Pizza Galley, a local non-chain, hands down, has some of the best. We ordered the seasonal Shrimp Scampi pizza, which was the most genius thing I never would have thought to put on a pizza. It had the perfect ratio of cheese to shrimp and wasn't a greaseball. It was a perfect combo! We also ordered a Sausage/Mushroom and thought the toppings were generous and the red sauce was tasty. The curbside pick-up was super easy. Owner Molly personally brought it out to us, and we even discovered the surprise of a free garlic cheese bread with our order (complimentary with two large pizzas). I've tried all the pizza shops in Vermilion and this one is definitely my favorite! Fresh ingredients, a tasty sauce, and crust that isn't too thick and not too thin. It's an excellent pie. I also recommend their shrimp dinner. I know it's odd to get a shrimp dinner from a pizza place, but trust me, the shrimp is really good. When you place your order, they will ask what kind of car you will be driving. When you arrive, you don't need to call, they have an employee watching for customers. They immediately bring your order out to you. You can pay there or over the phone. I highly recommend Pizza Galley! One of my favorite takeout places in the area. read more

Pizza Galley in Vermillion is a cool little takeout place with some really good food. After seeing the Yelp reviews, I figured I would give it a try so I hopped on the motorcycle and headed West. Finding Pizza Galley wasn't too hard, but it could be easy to miss as it is a small storefront in a commercial strip. Once inside there is a small counter, a single table and some Cavs memorabilia on the wall; more or less set up for take out, but you can eat there if you must. I ordered the Shrimp Po-Boy sandwich and I was very pleased. The roll was an Italian loaf with sesame seeds; a pass through the pizza oven insured that it was crispy and very tasty. The shrimp were large and plump, hand breaded and perfectly fried to a golden crisp. Some lettuce added some nice crunch and a remoulade sauce had a nice tang. The only thing that I would nitpick was that the shrimp were a bit salty from the breading, but overall the sandwich was one of the better local examples of a Po-Boy. The fries were good, freshly cut and hot. Service was casual and friendly, even though they didn't have any cups, they were nice enough to get me a cup of water in a takeout bowl. Next time I am in the area I will have to try the pizza. Pizza Galley exceeds the expectations of its setting. read more

I moved here less than two years ago and we have tried all the pizza places. We do like the food at a couple of the other pizza places as we try to support local businesses and mix it up at times. However, after ordering numerous times from Pizza Galley, I will say there has not been one disappointment! The food and service are always consistent. I normally order pizza but tried a salad and I was shocked at how good it was. What I would like to emphasize though, is that the service is off the chart. The phone etiquette is impeccable. The staff is playful and fun, they are also professional as they read back your order as to be accurate and that is what makes a successful business. Keep up the good work. A great spot in Vermilion for pizza & much more! Pizzas are hand-tossed, they make their own sauce and the homemade Italian Sausage is the best around. You must try it! They always have a Pizza of the Month, ask about that. The Po-Boys are New Orleans style good. Calzones are to die for. They slow-smoke their own brisket and pork, perfect for catering. Check out the Wings, meaty and they make their own sauces too. Bottom line, everything is always good. And the owners & staff are the friendliest around. The reviews are on point! We moved to Vermilion 2 years ago. We have tried ALL the local pizza places and this was the last on our list. It blew away all the competitors! Seriously, we could not have been more impressed. Generally I like to try a new place a few times before I give it an amazing review... now if its bad it goes on the chopping block right away. Having thoroughly sampled the menu, I must say this place is about as good as it gets and and untapped well of goodness. Pizza Galley has excellent pizza, the highlight of which would be their made in house Italian sausage. As much as I love their pizza and wings (which are also pretty bragable) , their sandwiches really are king. Specifically the had battered shrimp Po' Boy, and their signature creation the Debris Po' Boy... which is and awesome combination of shredded brisket, cheese and topped with Cole Slaw... simply amazing stuff. the highest honor I can give this place, is that bar a few very minor details this is exactly the way I would run such and establishment... and anyone who has had my food knows that when it comes to such thing I am a complete douche about how things are made, taste texture ingredients etc... Well, I don't know where to start with this one; so I will start where I feel you should. It is a small town Pizza place that has a very friendly staff. I first ordered here when I worked nearby, and ordered a small pie with just cheese. They were personable and friendly when I ordered and were really cool when I ordered. I am a regular now, and it is a place where everyone knows your name now (cue cheers music LOL). On to why you are here; the pizza. To begin the sauce is homemade and has some good spices in it. You can really tell it isn't from a can. This is refreshing to say the least. I thought my local pizza place in Elyria was great, but with it being a chain it can't hold a candle to Pizza Galley. The next (and in my opinion one of the best parts) and best part of the pizza is the cheese. They use a cheese that is so flavorful compared to any other pizza place. It is gooey and delicious, and I believe it is called Grande cheese (or something like that). I am also impressed by their toppings they have on the pizzas. I ordered pineapple and bacon here on my pizza too, and it is FRESH PINEAPPLE and FRESH BACON! This was surprising to see that it was quality like this. I am so used to the pale colored pineapple that is smaller in size, and to see yellow plump slices of pineapple was pleasing to see. And to have nice thicker bacon that tastes great was also very pleasing to the palate. All in all; this is one of the best pizza places I have visited in my life, and I am a glad regular here. I love everything about this place. First off, they show supreme customer service and generosity toward their customers. They always make me feel welcome when me and my family come, which has made us very loyal customers. We won't buy pizza anywhere else in vermillion! Second of all, they put a good amount of toppings and cheese on their pizza, but perhaps the best quality of their pizza is the crust: it's the perfect combination of buttery and crispy. Hands down, they have the best pizza and calzones in town. Wings are better and meatier than the Lube's, and while the list is not as extensive, the sauces have more flavor. OK the reviews are correct. Drove in from Huron to pick up pizza based on the reviews. We love pizza on Friday nights and have not found one we like since moving to Huron. We are from the west side of Cleveland and there are a lot of great pizza places all over the west side. All of our kids, my wife and I agree. This is the best pizza we have ever had. On our drive to Cleveland, we just swung by Pizza Galley and chose the 12" Chicken Bacon Ranch. We ate outside in the front and waited for the order. The chef brought it out, with napkins. Pizza was great, cheese tastes fantastic, chicken was nicely seasoned and had a great garlic flavor to it. We had forgotten to buy drinks and when we went inside to get two cans of soda, the chef waived us through and said "we got you". Awesome place! read more

I've only tried a few things on the menu cause they're so good that I want them over and over again. I used to only eat the buffalo chicken sandwich with fries. I don't typically order salads anywhere because I work at a salad shop, but their salads are AMAZING! The chef salad is so good that I eat it without dressing.
