Flies! Flies! Flies!…read more Kids had a good meal, chicken was good, Mac and cheese was tasty. Their bbq and ranch sauce was not good on the other hand. Their fries are like fair type fires, fresh, skinny and good with malt vinegar. Disappointed with the burger, it was like a meatball in a bun. The brioche bun could have been toasted. Texture felt like a cold English muffin, crumbly. The meat was too thick that didn't cover the bun and lackluster in taste.

Great neighborhood bar feel with really good food and friendly bartenders…read more I had a burger, 1/2 lb done perfectly with onion rings that were excellent. Last time the onion rings were a little oily, yesterday they were perfect. Our adult daughter just had fried pickles, she said they were great. Perfect batter to pickle ratio and they were spears not rounds which made them great for dipping. Wife had a lake erie perch sandwich, she said it was amazingly good. Busy place, but the kitchen was kerping up about 7:30 on a Friday night. I highly recommend Rudy's especially if your in from out of town.

Drinks and food were delivered in good time…read more BUT...minus one star because this is one of a growing number of restaurants that have begun adding 3.00% to the bill for using a credit card...and it's insulting! Credit and Tap to Pay are the standard these days - who carries cash? Servers expect tips off of the total including tax instead of the subtotal (which I struggle with a bit but always use that total @ 20%). Now it's subtotal + tax + CC surcharge. My first instinct is to tip 17% and tell the server her boss took part of her tip. Goodness gracious restaurant owners!!! Charge $12.59 for your $10.95 chicken salad wrap and stop adding one more level of complexity to the process. It's not a lot of money but a silly little add-on line item to the bill for using a standard method of payment is, in principle, ridiculous.

We found Woodstock by accident, having rolled into town for a weekend visit, and found an empty parking spot in front right as the lunch rush was over. We walked in, not expecting much, and were more than pleasantly surprised by the welcoming atmosphere and staff. I imagine if you spend any amount of time in Vermillion Ohio, Woodstock would become your home base, and while we were only able to visit the once, I secretly wished we could have something like this closer to our home. Really solid!

Then our food came out barely warm. Who knows how long it was just sitting in the kitchen. Never got the iced tea I ordered. Food was mediocre at best...and for high prices. Speaking of high, not sure what was happening with the staff but minds certainly weren't focused on food quality or customer service. The nachos were a little weak, and the wings were overcooked, but overall the food was pretty good. Based on our experience, I'd happily come back. 4 stars.

The counter is in the back; they have a large selection of breakfast items but the main draw is coffee. They have all the brewed standards, plus along the rear wall are dozens of roasted beans to buy to go. Beans from all over the world, roasted in different ways, some with flavoring. You can fill up bags to enjoy your favorites at home. During our visit, I ordered a bagel and their star tots. The bagels were great quality, toasted to order with any toppings. They have options for breakfast sandwiches as well. I also had a cold brew. The staff was small, but surprisingly efficient even with the amount of customers coming and going. Prices are super reasonable as well. If you're in the area, this is a cozy spot for breakfast.

The iced churro coffee was delicious and a bit indulgent. Lots of cinnamon and nice cold foam top. Very good. We sat for about 30mins and enjoyed our drinks, cooled off, used the restroom and did some people watching. Place was very steady. People talking out and staying in. This seems pretty popular. All sorts of drinks ordered. Nice place lots of tables, booths, and comfy chairs and couch. Main order area is in the corner toward the back, the rest is seating. We'll be back.
