He answered all of our questions, offered samples of several flavors. And let us know how they're made. The raviolis themselves are quite large and really tasty. The Rainbow ricotta was my favorite and I'd definitely go back just for those. They are a bit pricey, but I think for the size and the quality, they're worth it!

I'm not sure they even had a sign with their business name as I had to look them up later. But they know what they're doing, as seeing these beautiful mountains of stuffed dough got the sale! All of their pasta is naturally colored with juiced kale, peppers, carrots, turmeric, tomatoes, blueberries, and beets. They don't use food coloring. It's truly a beautiful product. Of course then the question is, does the taste match? And I'm happy to say it did! These were tasty, made with both a red sauce and a butter sauce at home later. And I'm not really a good cook, but ravioli are hard to mess up with ~5 mins of simmering in boiling water. I got all of one flavor and would like to try a variety next time. These would be great for a dinner party where you want the aesthetics to match the deliciousness!

They have a cozy indoor seating area with a classic bar backdrop. Or if you feel like sitting outside but being shielded from any wind, rain or coolness - there is a cute picnic table area out on a tree shaded side street. We had an out of town guest and we did not want to fuss with cooking at home nor sitting in a stuffy noisy (or super quiet) eatery! Sitting out side before sunset, was the perfect setting on our Monday night. Our waitress was super interactive and very genuine with her assessments of the dining & alcoholic beverage choices. For adult drinks we had an excellent Next Level IPA brewed & branded for Montelupo, Rose special and glass of House Red wine. I was starving so we ordered the LARGE Radicchio salad and it was Big & filling. A side of fresh Broccolini complimented our individual entrees. My hearty Italian dish was the Ricotta Cavatelli. I even had enough for lunch the next day! My two lovely lady dinner mates had meals of Mafaldine pasta and Spinach Fettuccine (with Grana Padano cheese added). We gladly finished our comfortable dining experience with a shared and inhaled Tiramisu dessert. If you have time, spend a few minutes browsing the Italian Market refrigerated food and alcoholic options. Plus the well stocked and reasonably priced Italy sourced dry goods are worth a view

The linguine was extremely acidic and overly citrusy, and the Bolognese was bland and forgettable. To make matters worse, our table was next to the trash and recycling area, so we spent the meal dealing with flies, bees, and constant foot traffic. The only positive was our server with dark hair and glasses. She was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service. Overall, this was a one-star experience, and I won't be returning. If you're looking for Italian food, I'd recommend LUCE Restaurant down the street instead. Trust me!

Even going on a Monday night, it was packed with people, however, we were able to snag a table for two without a reservation right away. The service was attentive and helpful. I got the full portion of the smoked mushroom ravioli and I absolutely loved it. I appreciated that the portion was quite large because too often ordering ravioli means you barely get any pasta. The sauce was decadent, savory, smokey, and had a hint of sweetness, which pulled everything together.

Our server was friendly and quick. She answered questions and described the specials. They have gluten free focaccia!!!! It was super yummy, but it was also served kinda cold. Worth it. We ordered the fresh catch, which was halibut with some potatoes and grilled asparagus. The accompanying sauces were delicious. The asparagus was good. The white potatoes though had been cooked previously and weren't reheated enough. They were described as new potatoes but were definitely large chunks of russets. They were hard to eat. So we didn't. We also had the Punta di Fesa which is a braised beef dish with mushrooms on polenta. The balsamic mushrooms and polenta were so flavorful and delicious. It was a good thing that my husband started with this dish (we traded halfway through and had plenty to eat!) because I would have eaten his share of the polenta too. The beef however was dry and not what I would have expected from a braised beef. When we were given a knife, we were told we probably wouldn't need it. We did. The service here was friendly and helpful. Our server was knowledgeable about gluten free needs and recommended a great bottle of wine that went well with our fish AND the beef (which is tricky...yummy Chianti AND half price!). It was pretty busy for a Tuesday night at 7. There were people that ended up waiting but not too long. There are shelves of Italian goods all around you. My husband said he felt like he was eating in a store. You kind of are, but it was still cozy. I plan to come back to try the gluten free pasta and maybe a lunch sandwich if they have solid gf options there. Also, the dessert menu looked great. We were just full.

Upon walking in, I was expecting flowers on the table and at the least a fully inflated balloon. Walked into a booth with a half inflated balloon and no flowers. Unfortunately, one of the executive chefs had left for an emergency which I understand. This left my wife and I unable to experience about half the menu. We ordered our appetizer and entrees at the same time, appetizer came out rather quickly which is expected as it was just bread and tomatoes. Although the entrees never made it out. We were given complimentary bread and tomato soup and a drink on the house for the long wait. Tons of delays because of one of the chefs not being present but over an hour and a half for entrees is crazy. Although our waitress was kind and accommodating, we decided that instead of wasting our time, we decided we would just pay for whatever we received. The waitress let us know that they waived everything and we left without a bill. Very disappointing but as it was our first impression, I'm hoping that it was just a rough night for them. No management came to our table with any kind of updates or apology. The waitress that helped us is the one getting praise.

Their wine bar is fantastic, and good-priced, and it was fun to watch the last of the World Cup here today. If you're looking for something special or hard to find, this is the place, much like the old Pastaworks was on Hawthorne. They really shine on their produce, pasta and fresh meats here, and there's always something new, but I love that you can count on the bakery for your focaccia and other fresh breads. Cheese case is like Rue Cler, Paris--so much selection and they will tell you about each one of them. Don't be afraid to just ask a lot of questions. I wish that they did some little items in the bakery, one of my fondest memories from childhood was going to Pastaworks with my dad and getting a breadstick, probably eating it before we even paid (we did), as we strolled around, and where's the peanut sauce for pasta, another favorite of the old days, yup, I'm old. Can't say enough good things about this place, it can add up though as others have mentioned, but, if you keep to a list or just slow the roll on the impulse buy, it's actually reasonable and you know you're getting what you're paying for. I've never regretted a purchase here or thought it unfair. I mean, it says Fine Foods right there in the name...:) Thank you for the amazing ingredients for dinner tonight, cheers!

We started with the garlic bread. The garlic wasn't overpowering and went well with the olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The focaccia had a generous portion of tomatoes and paired nicely with the mozzarella and balsamic drizzle. It was nicely seasoned and not greasy. The lobster ravioli was tasty though the cream sauce was a little on the heavy side. We took the ravioli and focaccia back to our hotel. Service was friendly and our food arrived quickly. (You can tell a lot about a restaurant just from their restrooms and condition of menus.) I was craving crab or lobster, only being satisfied by the coastal restaurants, so I was eager to try the Lobster Ravioli. The flavor of the sauce, the fresh veggies mixed into the sauce, the size of the raviolis... AMAZING! My entree was $25 and worth every penny. I ordered a Strawberry Mojito which was $10 and delightfully refreshing. My husband only eats Lasagna when dining out for Italian. He ordered the Lasagna Bolognese, let me add he won't eat tomato chunks. There wasn't a drop left of his meal. He thoroughly enjoyed every single bite of his entree. His entree was also $25 and clearly worth it. Our server was Jassiel. We had a short discussion about the history of the restaurant. It is family owned & operated by both of his parents, as well as he & his brother as serving/bartending. The customer service was so sincere & upbeat, we'll definitely be dining here again.

Because the food was so damn good. Look - I'm going to start off by saying I grew up practically on The Hill. Out here, you'll have to Google it (make sure to add 'RI' to the search or you'll get some political BS), but back east, "alls you's have ta say" was those two words and anyone would know you knew your Italian, food and otherwise. There isn't anything on this coast that vaguely compares to The Hill's food, but walking into and biting out of Geraldi's was having a little piece of home. There's this little shop in the old town where the owner knew your voice when you called to order... you'd walk in, and you heard "hey cousin!" whether you were or not, and that's the vibe you get from Geraldi's. The food is much the same - you get something that looks like Nonna was at the range all day with her sauce (it's not gravy - no meat) and you came home looking like you haven't eaten in weeks: "I'm gonna fatten you up before you leave" and you walked out the door with a sub (sandwich, that is - not a submarine) that weighed the same as a newborn. We got three of those babies: a Chicago Beef (seal of approval from the orderer - only 'complaint' was that they had to eat it all in one day because the bread was quote too soggy to make it to lunch the next day - travesty), an Italian sausage (just as delicious when 1/2 was reheated the next day) and a Chicken Parmeroni (I thought somehow even better when 1/2 was reheated the next day) and I could have absolutely gone back the next day if it weren't for A. the leftovers 2/3 of us had and B. the meal planning we'd done for the week. I also grabbed a side of giardiniera because I will get it anytime I see it available and I inhaled it - I need to know if I can by it by the vat instead of the side cups because it too was similar to what I can find at home (about practically nowhere out here) and amazing!! I'm still upset I didn't take pictures though!
