    Loaded fries
    Andrew L.

Weelllll the dinner bell rang and this is where we ended up. It's a very nice place, clean and friendly. The food was priced right and a clean bathroom . I ordered the loaded fries with bulgogi it looked delicious and the fries were very crispy all the way through. Tstars for me because within 5min of finishing my dinner I was hit hard with bloating and a very dry mouth. The plate was extremely salty but camouflaged with the sauce that covered it x also the Cheetos and takis didn't help . I should have stopped eating but was very hungry after a good trip to the gym. I don't blame the place at all I did indeed order the wrong plate for me. I don't know if I'll be back and if so I'll update my post. Thanks for your time.

Got a shawarma salad. Ton of food for the price. I liked all the sauces too. Nice presentation. Counter service and pretty sterile ambiance. I fine lunch spot.

First time eating here, and let me tell you, this place has dishes you won't find at other Greek restaurants. I love the unique combination of styles! You have to try the rice bowls--the mango habanero and the Greek lamb is an incredible fusion. Thank you for bringing something so different and delicious to our neighborhood!

    Twisted fries: excellent.

Any Portland metro eatery with "twisted" in the name has been a winner. Crowds flock to this Hillsboro strip mall for good reason. The "twisted fries" were better than expected. The menu description first reads as a bunch of random items on fries, but the final product is bliss. Moreover, their fry's texture and cut make it work. The whipped feta that comes with plenty of pita is also one to consider. Service was very friendly and reasonably quick given the amount of people. The parking lot gets crowded. I'll definitely return, especially for the drink choices.

Nice, class little place with tasty food. I appreciate that the owner working at the counter was super understanding and knowledgeable about gluten free accommodations.

My son really wanted to try Twisted Gyros out because he heard great things about this place. He asked if I thought I could find vegan items here, and I said I'm sure I could. I'm glad the restaurant understood vegan. I ended up getting a bowl with falafel, saffron rice and salad fixings. The only vegan sauce available was hummus and hot sauce. The other sauces had mayo or honey in them. I wish they did a lemon tahini dressing, which is my favorite. I can't remember what my son and his step daughter ordered, but they thoroughly enjoyed it! While eating my meal, one of the owners came out with a sauce made vegan just for me! That was so sweet of her! That just made my experience stand out. At first, for me, Twisted Gyros was a 4 star experience. I asked my son and his step daughter what rating they would give, and they both agreed 5 stars. I would definitely order differently next time. Just falafel and saffron rice with hummus and maybe a small amount of salad. Oh I did really like the crispy chickpeas that were at the bottom of my bowl!

Twisted Gyro is a casual sit-down spot with welcoming vibes and really friendly service. The guy behind the counter who took our order was an absolute delight! He was super upbeat, helpful, and even brought our food out to us. After we finished eating, he offered to clear our table, which was such a nice gesture you don't always get at casual places. We ordered them following for two- Whipped Feta: this was the highlight! It was creamy, both savory From the chives and zatar and sweet from the honey, and had a nice crunch from the pistachios. The pita was also nicely toasted. Chicken Shawarma Gyro: juicy, seasoned well and flavorful. The portion was huge and could be 2 small meals. I asked to have mine without pickles and they put in that modification. The Greek Gyro with fries added inside: when it came out, they had stuffed the fries inside the gyro and put the extra fries on the side. Everything was wrapped up with all the toppings and sauces. Very filling and it did get a bit of a messy. There's a parking lot out front, which makes getting in and out easy and they also have a bathroom inside for customers. We did come close to closing time and I think they ran out of chicken shawarma after my order since we overheard other folks trying to order. So good to know if you need to plan ahead.

MANGO HABANERO CHICKEN Fresh mango salsa, greens, shredded cabbage & cilantro!

Greece Took a Detour Through a Tiki Bar! FOOD Let's start with the Mango Habanero Chicken Gyro, a dish that asks the question: "What if a tropical vacation had a spicy Greek cousin?" Pineapple and cilantro in a gyro? Sounds wild, right? But somehow, it works--like a luau and a Mykonos party had a baby. Sweet, tangy, spicy, herby--this thing's got layers, like a drama series and just as addictive. Then there's the Bacon On Top Of My Bacon Gyro, which is exactly what it sounds like--bacon... plus more bacon... and oh hey, here comes pork belly crashing the party like the life of the flavor fiesta. Honestly, I didn't know how badly my gyro needed pork belly until now. Bacon belongs on everything, but especially here. SERVICE Fast, friendly, and zero pretense. You order, you blink, and boom--your gyro is ready. They're quick on their feet and always wearing a smile, even when the place is buzzing. Whether you're a first-timer or a returning gyro junkie, they treat you like you belong. ENVIRONMENT Modern, clean, and stylish with just the right dash of neon attitude. The vibe inside is part minimalist art gallery, part downtown street food spot, and part low-key dance club (but only if the dance is chewing). The lighting and decor make you feel like you've discovered something new--because you have. Twisted Gyro is fusion done right. It's bold, playful, and deliciously off-script. If you're bored of the same old wrap-and-go routine, this is the spot to twist your taste buds into something unexpected. Fusion cuisine fans--this one's for you.

Lamb Gyro Rice Bowl, and Mango Habanero Chicken Twisted Fries

This was my second time coming here for lunch and tried something new. The parking lot can get full fast since it shares with lots of other businesses in the same complex but the place is easy to find. It's small but brightly lit with awesome graphics and pictures for their menu. They actually have quite a few tables in this space but it does fill up fast during busy lunch times. You can choose from gyros, rice bowls, salad bowls, twisted fried and sides and desserts. They also serve alcoholic beverages too. The owner was working the register and he is always so friendly and came around the tables later to check in as well. The kitchen was working hard keeping up with dining in and online orders. This time we ordered lamb rice bowl and my friend ordered the mango habanero chicken twisted fries. I mean the fun presentation of the food is the first thing you notice when you get your food. Fresh veggies, pickled onions and banana peppers, and lots of side sauces. The Cheetos are always a fun touch for a splash of color and a texture and flavor addition. Although this time the cheese puffs were a little stale but that mango habanero chicken was so flavorful with just a little kick! The fries were the star of the show actually - extra crispy and a great vessel for all the yummy toppings. I did think my lamb was a little dry but it was a good portion for everything to be between $13-16. Definitely recommending this local business to everyone and it's worth a visit to try all of their offerings!

Great flavors, big portions, and fun assortment of sauces to choose from with each entree. The mango habanero combination has fresh veggies and a nice spice to add dimension to the entree.

Lamb gyro bowl with a side of falafel

I was so excited to try this place because their bowls looked so good and full of fresh ingredients. I got the lamb gyro bowl and while it was good, after a while everything felt so dry. I felt like the bowl really needed some sort of sauce or hummus. From pictures it looks like it comes with sauce but there was sauce with my side of falafel that I wasn't sure if it was for my meal or for the falafel... the sauce was some sort of mayo/honey mustard sauce, a sweet pink sauce, and Tabasco??? I'm confused why Tabasco was a sauce of their choice. Their sweet pink sauce was good though but they only gave a tiny portion of it. I thought my bowl comes with a pita bread as well and either it doesn't or they forgot about it. My husband got the fries which was very interesting because it was topped with hot Cheetos and takis. It was like a Greek Hispanic fusion. To be quite honest, I was disappointed with my meal. Maybe I just had too high of hopes for it.
