I've gone back to Harvest Thyme Tavern many times since my first experience and just let me say, I've thoroughly enjoyed the food and service each time. The food is cooked to order and always fresh and delicious. The service is friendly and the staff are always happy to answer questions, make recommendations and alter dishes when possible. I recently had a repast here for 15 people and I pre-ordered the food for family style dining and everyone was elated about the quality of the food and the selection. Their favorites were the pasta dish with the pear and ricotta in a delicate sauce (a house speciality), their pizzas and the bison burger. Just aaamazzing! The interior is unique and provides a quaint vibe. I look forward to hosting another gathering soon. Thank you Rik and the amazing female Bartender/servicer whose name escapes me right now, but she's got skills managing the bar and serving tables. 5/5*

Happy Hour Old Fashioned $12 and Calamari $14

This place has such an old-soul charm that immediately makes you feel at home, yet with a creative and modern twist on its dishes that will keep you coming back. I have my favorite spot here--the cozy little reader's nook tucked to the left of the bar area. It's the perfect hidden corner to relax with a book and sip on a well-crafted Old Fashioned during happy hour (CHEAP). The vibe is so calming, and the mix of classic and contemporary makes it the ideal spot to unwind. This last visit, I had the calamari, and let me just say--it's different. Fried in cornmeal, it offers a totally unique crunch that's different from the usual breaded version. It was a fun surprise and totally delicious. Happy hour is absolutely worth it, especially if you're stuck in horrendous traffic like I often am--this has quickly become my go-to spot for a quick but satisfying break. The drinks, the food, and the vibe are perfect for a little escape. Oh, and fun fact--the bartender is a competitive eater who holds two world records! She's traveled everywhere for competitions. Her energy and expertise add another cool layer to this place. Highly recommend checking it out!

Wife and I stopped in after seeing the grandkids see Santa at Homestead Garden, we were first greeted by a young lady at the hostess stand she was very friendly. I asked if the food was good and she said it's excellent, so jokingly I said if it's not good can I bring the bill for you to pay. She laughed said sure but your going to like it with that she told me to try the pair and ricotta stuffed sacchetti it's her favorite. There were seats available but we sat at the bar, the bartender greeted us right away while we were getting seated he explained that this was his parent restaurant that his mother comes in the morning makes all the desserts except one (apple pie) and that his dad is the chef. The wine selection is fantastic if you can't find what you're looking for here I would be very shocked. He explained that we could purchase a bottle and they will open it for $10 much cheaper than buying by the glass and if we didn't finish the bottle they would cork the bottle and we take the rest home. So we looked the lunch menu over there is a different dinner menu that starts at 4. I started with a basil Haden old fashion wife had ice tea wife ordered the chicken bacon ranch sandwich it came with fries and I ordered the pair and ricotta stuffed sacchetti with grilled chicken added to it. It's pretty cool that this place is a liquor store and a restaurant, you can see the kitchen and the cooks fixing food. Our meals came and wow everything looked delicious, I couldn't wait to take a bite. The wife's sandwich looked very good at first she asked if they put half her chicken on my meal but what they had done was cut the chicken in half and stacked them. My meal was delicious I was a little nervous that I wasn't going to like it but after the first bite it was delicious. Those small homemade pasta filled pillows of pasta were just amazing as well was the chicken with the cream sauce, I did ask if next time I ordered this could I get a little extra sauce he said sure. Well a few minutes later someone came up behind me and put down a small container of extra sauce, it just wasn't enough if I hadn't got the chicken on it it would have be perfect. Now it's dessert time, we were told what the specials are and they had another rather large list of desserts, my wife ordered the peanut butter pie and I had the salted caramel espresso cheese cake. We got these togo because we were so stuffed from lunch so that evening we had our dessert and they were both excellent.

My third time at Harvest Thyme was the deal sealer. This restaurant is fantastic. They have the best SMOKED Korean BBQ Hot Wings I have ever had. Additionally, the bartender Margo and the Manager Anthony (I think I have the names right) were outstanding by paying close attention to my severe food allergies. Checking in on me to make sure everything was perfect more than once. The drinks are unique and fun, I had a Naked and Afraid...it was awesome. Everything was clean, everything was comfortable, everything was just a delight. A PERFECT brunch,

Excellent local restaurant with a huge selection of wine! We came here on a Friday night around 8pm and although it was busy, we were seated immediately. The restaurant was full, but not too loud. We enjoyed the harvest board charcuterie platter, the crab cakes, and filet mignon, and we finished the meal with both the flourless chocolate cake and the harvest smash a la mode. Everything was made well, had great portion sizes, and delivered timely. Our server, Kelly, was helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend!

it was very good! Mild and is great alone or with food.

Unless you get there super-early at 4, before the 5pm dinner opening, and then wait in the shorter line. Unless you are having lunch there, and in that case I am guessing it may be the same, ie getting in the cue at 11ish before 12pm. I have had the Spotted Pig pizza and whatever enticing pie specialities they have rotated seasonally. I usually opt for the truffle oil or balsamic glaze on our pizza. I have never needed to tweak their delightful presented ingredients combinations. Their pizzas are that outstanding. Take for instance, a recent summer pizza from the Chef's own garden: "The Cuba Libra pizza ...This white pizza features mozzarella and parmesan cheeses, complemented by pork confit, chile-roasted jicama, pickled red onions, cilantro, and fresh mint." I'd never crave mint on a pizza but if Eastport's Vin 909 is serving it, I'm probably going to enjoy it. If you are the more traditional type, another seasonal pizza featured is the Yankee Pie: "family recipe crust with tomato sauce, mozzarella, ricotta cheese, summer sausage, marinated red peppers and oregano." And yes, please, to another summer, perfect-in-Annapolis feature: "Vaquero Clams: Steamed local little neck clams, English ale, bacon, grilled poblano peppers, garlic guajillo butter, fresh oregano, epazote and cilantro." I love the gigantic Vin 909 featured arugula salad. I also miss their divine french press coffees and Butterscotch Pudding with caramelita points. A little known fact: when I was there, you could purchase extra caramelita points for $2 or $3. Vin 909 is truly the best dining in Annapolis -- or Naptown -- as folks like me say.

We drove up on a Saturday late afternoon in Aug 2025 and found parking across Main Street. There are other free lots nearby and sometimes a free shuttle around town on Sat and Sun. While waiting for the music, we staked out a table among some that people had reserved ahead of time in front of the wine shop, with other tables just outside the lot and more across the quiet side-street. From the wine shop, we got a nice little pinot noir to take home. They offered plastic glasses and a bucket full of ice, so we could have had that during the concert. They also have beers and ciders, gourmet snacks, and many clever and original accessories and crafts. The wine shop's owner encouraged up to walk to nearby Joe's Deli, and across to the Patapsco Distillery where the band set up under a small canopy, and we also got some food and drink from them for our table. And there's a sweet little ice cream shop across Main Street too! The band played light rock and folk and people were relaxed in conversations and enjoyment of the music. The gentle breeze kept us cool under sun-shielding umbrellas. This is nicely done weekly pair of concert, and the welcoming hostess and cooperative nearby shops make this a pleasant way to visit Sykesville on a Friday or Saturday evening, continuing through Nov 8th.

I had just come from a hair appointment down the street and on my way back to my car, I noticed Sangria advertised on the mini sandwich board outside. I'm a HUGE fan of a glass of fruity Sangria on a hot day! The fact that it was Happy Hour with $5 glasses made it even easier to draw me inside!! When I explained this was my first visit, they explained the Curio concept, the various areas for sitting, sipping and gathering as well as the Curio Card process. They even had a small but really intriguing menu of various snacks, from charcuterie to flatbread and even dessert. The menu changes a couple times a month, making me want to plan more visits! The staff offered me sips of each so I could decide on a Sangria flavor. Despite not being a Moscato fan, I chose the Moscato Mule Sangria. It was light, refreshing and had the Moscow Mule flavors with the added sweetness of Moscato wine. I wandered into the cellar to explore more wine offerings and wound up running into fellow educators and their friends I had never met. We chatted like we were catching up and laughed about shared birthdays and teaching!! They invited me to hang with them, but I had to get home for Dog Mom Duty. We exchanged numbers so we could plan another "run-in" downtown SOON! If you haven't visited Curio, I HIGHLY recommend it. Bring a friend, or plan on making a few. Next time, I'll be ordering food with my wine and lingering much longer! Thanks for a great end to my week. See y'all soon! Cheers!

One of the staff was initially a little grumpy because we arrived late due to work commitments (my sincere apologies for that!), but our primary server, Kaytlyn, was friendly and offered excellent recommendations. The bartender, Christine, also took care of us. A major highlight of the night was chatting with Carolyn (owner/cook) and Mike (owner). They are both personable and do a great job cultivating an open, welcoming environment.   THE FOOD & DRINK We ordered a fair number of appetizers for the table, all of which were quite tasty: * Deviled Eggs: A favorite among the table! The addition of horseradish provided a perfectly subtle and delicious kick. * Charcuterie Board for Two: A great, classic grazing option. * Flatbreads: We tried both the Brie & Bacon and the Italian flatbreads, and both were solid. * Smoked Salmon Crostini: A lighter bite. * Spinesto Pomodoro Dip: Flavorful and great for sharing. * Moroccan Spiced Lamb Sliders: Well-seasoned and portioned. * Adelsheim Pinot Noir, Greenwing Cabernet: Two standouts with great value given the retail pricing structure.   OVERALL While the food was thoroughly enjoyable, it was the excellent wine value and the warm conversations with the staff and fellow customers that stole the show.
