    Pretzel Board

Great place to chill! Pretzel Charcuterie Board was the BOMB!! The large soft pretzel was warm and delicious. Meats and cheeses were fresh. The pub style mustard was so tasty we asked for more! Service was wonderful. I would definitely recommend this place

I've been to Antoinette's many times and overall most of my experiences have been positive. The service can be slow sometimes. However, after tonight's experience I will not go back unless I have cash on hand, that's if I do go back. When I went to pay my bill, I was told my total was nearly $30. This was surprising as all I had was a cauliflower crust cheese pizza, and one club soda with lime (no alcohol). I had no idea how that was almost $30. You're not given a detailed bill when you checkout, just the card machine that has a total, no breakout. After I paid, I selected the option for a text receipt. As you can see in the receipt, they automatically charge a 21.5% gratuity and credit card service surcharge, then charge another 3% credit card surcharge. You're being charged twice to use your credit card and gratuity is already added, so when I tipped, it was an extra 20% on top of the 21.5% already charged. I don't mind paying a credit card surcharge at a small business, but twice is excessive. It's extremely deceptive to not communicate this customer. Ultimately I paid over $35 for a soda and a small, maybe medium size cheese pizza.

Excellent bar with outstanding service and friendly locals. Great place to become part of the local gang. I really enjoyed the conversations and how welcoming both the staff and customers were. Highly reommend! Trevor and DaWan were excellent hosts.

Shrimp burgers - my fav meal here!!

We absolutely love this place!! What a gem! The decor and atmosphere are perfect! The food is amazing and the service is exceptional! We tried the shrimp burgers which have become my favorite. I also tried the pretzel charcuterie board and was pleased with the items but wished the pretzel was softer and warm. My husband loves the omelet but the portion is a little small for him. We love the games being available to play. While waiting for our meal I learned to play backgammon again. We had not played since we were kids. Shrimp and grits are my go to whenever on a menu and their cream sauce and shrimp flavor was amazing. It did leave me wishing for some more substance added to the meal though - green peppers, roasted corn.. something. Fruit salad was fresh and a good selection. French toast was great! Other recommendations: plasticware for to go meals, online ordering via toast app, menu posted online (website or fb), wider chairs.

It wasn't warm, but it was soft. It was served with an olive oil. Our table ordered the steak, four cheese ravioli, Caesar salad and pasta with butter for the kids. Everything was extremely well! We liked the pasta with butter the best and that was for the kids! Lol. The wine is charged by the ounce. It's almost like a tasting of wines where you can pour it yourself. It was great to allow a chance to try a variety of wines. We stopped in our way to the beach and would like to make it a staple! The steak is not served every night. It is a Thursday-Sunday serving, so it's best to check the special mains as it's not a staple item on the menu.

The cafeteria style wine dispensers could have benefitted from somalier staff to explain what the various labels were and what the wines were about, as well as to recommend pairings. I don't like to be on my phone at a restaurant researching wines, trying to decide which values to explore when I'm unfamiliar with all of them. I think my server was too young to know that much about wines beyond the crib notes. I had the tonno crudo which was a lovely dish, but the olive oil had a bitter metallic taste to it, and since raw tuna and the olive oil were the only two flavors of the dish, the olive oil spoiled the flavor a little bit. I highly recommend McElvoy's superb buttery oil from CA. When you have very few ingredients or processes, as is the case in Italian cooking, each of the ingredients has to be over the top. Perfect . I also had the Pasta Medici with lobster and spinach wrapped up shushi-style in two small sheets of house-made pasta and served upended in a small box. The lobster was good, but the creamed spinach did not taste like Florence's best, and I could taste flour and butter in the undercooked pasta. For a signature dish, I would have expected five star efforts, but on this dish only the lobster was really edible. I really want this place to be a success, and I want to have a great experience there. It feels like a good, well-intentioned crew is still getting its act together and working out the kinks. For a very high-quality food experience the servers also need to be sophisticated to help Interpret the dishes and wine for the diners. Keep trying, Wardroom! You've got a very promising vision. If you could re-introduce humans back into the mix, italian-style, you might have a winner!

I had just come from a hair appointment down the street and on my way back to my car, I noticed Sangria advertised on the mini sandwich board outside. I'm a HUGE fan of a glass of fruity Sangria on a hot day! The fact that it was Happy Hour with $5 glasses made it even easier to draw me inside!! When I explained this was my first visit, they explained the Curio concept, the various areas for sitting, sipping and gathering as well as the Curio Card process. They even had a small but really intriguing menu of various snacks, from charcuterie to flatbread and even dessert. The menu changes a couple times a month, making me want to plan more visits! The staff offered me sips of each so I could decide on a Sangria flavor. Despite not being a Moscato fan, I chose the Moscato Mule Sangria. It was light, refreshing and had the Moscow Mule flavors with the added sweetness of Moscato wine. I wandered into the cellar to explore more wine offerings and wound up running into fellow educators and their friends I had never met. We chatted like we were catching up and laughed about shared birthdays and teaching!! They invited me to hang with them, but I had to get home for Dog Mom Duty. We exchanged numbers so we could plan another "run-in" downtown SOON! If you haven't visited Curio, I HIGHLY recommend it. Bring a friend, or plan on making a few. Next time, I'll be ordering food with my wine and lingering much longer! Thanks for a great end to my week. See y'all soon! Cheers!

The service is wonderful, with staff being very knowledgeable about the wines. What I love is the fact that you can taste as many wines as you want to once you've loaded up your Curio card. You can also choose a 2oz or 3oz pour instead if you already know what you want. I haven't tried the food here yet, but I'll definitely be coming back for the cinnamon spiced sangria and the mulled wine (must be bought from the bar. Not available on tap.) A must for all wine lovers.

It was quite with some music. Service was friendly but just a little slow. We ordered a variety of dishes including: Chorizo al Vino Tinto, Spiendini, Patatas con Aioli, Croquettes, Gambas a la Plancha, Gambas al Ajillo, Albondigas, Carne Pizza, and Paella de Carne and the Zeppole for dessert. We loved the Chorizo al Vino Tinto and the Spiendini. Both were delicious and well seasoned. The Gambas a la Plancha had a very good chimichurri sauce and the Albondigas were very flavorful. The Paella came out quickly but it wasn't my favorite. It wasn't like a traditional Paella and there were olives and red onions. Overall still ok, and the Gambas al Ajillo had a sweetness to it. The Carne Pizza was good though. My friend ordered the cocktail Purple Rain and he enjoyed it. We did like most of the items ans would definitely come back to try the other dishes.

Drinks: I've tried quite a few of their cocktails and have to admit the only thing I didn't love was the Bloody Mary but that is down to personal preference. Everyone makes theirs a little different and that's okay. Regardless: 10/10. Overall, a solid 5 stars for Tapa Rio. I'll keep coming back here for sure!
