a cup of coffee on a saucer

Then reviews about the coffee don't lie. Coffee is top notch. Plenty of gluten free options as far as food goes. I had the choco peanut butter rice crispy square and the chicken & brie wrap. Both were delicious! Dairy free milk options and yummy condiments to choose from (hot sauce etc)... Bright & cheery location with lots of morning sun. Friendly staff. This is going to be my go-to cafe in Canmore from now on. Wish I had discovered it years ago! Beautiful view of Ha Ling from the window spots :)

On the side street. Which is quieter. Mountain views. Has a patio. They have wraps, paninis, coffees, and even beer and cider. Friendly staff. Casual ambiance.

Harvest Cafe is a low key, laid back cafe in the heart of Canmore. They're mainly a soup and sandwich kind of place along with your typical cafe drinks. Menu consists of breakfast wraps/sandwiches and hot/cold beverages. Note, there's a huge water jug with glasses at the front which is self serve. To the side is their lunch offerings which are heartier wraps and sandwiches. They have a small pastry case which has a couple different types of squares, bars and cinnamon buns (only on Saturday). - Biscuits ($0.95) and chewy cookie ($0.60) - we mainly came here to grab after ski drinks (aka. coffee) before heading back home but tried a couple baked goods. The biscuit was dry and tasteless but the chewy cookie was better. I've been here a previous time where we ordered a couple of breakfast wraps before hitting the slopes and wasn't impressed at all. The portions are meager and I remember my hangover wrap ($7.20) as being 90% scrambled egg and tasteless. I took out half the egg and was left with a laughable amount of ingredients. People seem to love this place though as there's been a mini lineup both times that I've visited. If you want to carb load up, then this place is perfect. Otherwise, if you're looking for a tasty place to eat, I'd look elsewhere.

Exactly what I wanted from a cafe. Great wraps and espresso drinks made correctly and well. The avocado in the middle of the sunrise wrap really tied it together. Their espresso is sweet and really palatable, not bitter or overly tangy at all. I called ahead to ask about allergy information and they were very accommodating.

    Curry Chicken Wrap

We stopped here because it sounded more interesting than fast food. I ordered the Curry Chicken wrap and my wife ordered the Chicken & Brie wrap. Once they arrived we swapped half with each other (why else get married if not to share food?). My Chicken Curry was tasty but we both thought the Chicken Brie was bland. Overall we enjoyed the quick stop here and felt like we got good value for the dollar and healthy food. I would come back.

This small restaurant is great for fresh daily baked items , soups, sandwiches, paninis , quiches and frittatas. Simply fresh , well seasoned , delicious basic food. I love their daily soups, the tuna panini with dill mayo and crunchy pickles is so yummy. Sometimes I stop by and order food To go to take on a picnic or take along fly fishing .there is a small patio that's open during warmer months.

Only on Saturdays.... Their popular, delicious cinnamon buns
    Carrie P.

Harvest came highly, highly recommended to me from my travel buddy, Sheila. We stopped in at Harvest in hopes to have what Sheila quipped one of their amazing cinnamon buns. It turns out that these cinnamon buns are only served on Saturdays, and locals make a special trip to grab one before they are gone. We were travelling through on Easter's Good Friday on our way to Jasper, and stopped in to grab a coffee to go. And... they had them.... With it being Good Friday, they decided to throw their customer's a bone, and when Sheila and I got there, there were only half a dozen left. So we grabbed two. As we were grabbing our coffees, the woman behind us was ordering two as well. Nice. The cinnamon bun obviously was fresh out of the oven. What a I loved about it, was it was not too sweet, and it had rolled diced apples in it. The icing was amazing as well. It was about 5 minutes of heaven before that cinnamon bun was GONE! Since we were passing through and were in cinnamin bun mode, we did not have lunch there. However, the menu looked healthy and delicious, with many gluten free and vegetarian options. I will definately plan on coming through for lunch then next time I am through. The cinnamin buns... definately stop and make the trip. You will be glad you did.

Butternut squash soup with chicken & Brie wrap

The chicken and Brie lunch wrap was surprisingly filling when paired with a small bowl of butternut squash soup. Atmosphere is uber-casual and laid-back. Fair trade drip organic coffees are self-serve. For a quick bite, A-OK.
