Lots of people who can't be bothered or don't know more than I do. This time I dealt with 2 sales women. - both were great. Perhaps HD needs to hire more women?) Finally I had a hard time reaching Reading, so after 6 hours of trying I googled Home Depot Customer Service. I called an 800 number and was told my account had a red flag. I said I just got the card 6 hours ago. Person on the other end was nasty and insisted that my info was compromised. She spoke with a very thick Indian accent and was so rude I hung up. On a day filled with terribly upsetting news, her bright smile and boundless spirit truly made me feel a little normal again. Got an email confirmation at 3:46pm on May 29 saying "Your delivery is on track!" and "Your delivery scheduled!" for that same day. No one ever showed up or contacted me. Didn't have time to call on Thursday so I called on Friday morning at 9:38am. The person I spoke to said deliveries are only made on Wednesdays and Saturdays and that someone would call me Saturday May 31 to let me know when the delivery would be ready. It's now 7pm and Ace closes at 5pm. No one has called, no delivery has been brought to the house. I REALLY wanted to give my business to someplace local, but this is ridiculous. I have cancelled my order and unfortunately won't be using this Ace Hardware in Woburn ever again. If an order is placed with a delivery day that you don't deliver on, you should contact the person placing the order and inform them of such. Extremely disappointing.

Ever since I could hold a wrench I've been a hobby mechanic. As a backyard wrench, I can say that this place is THE place to go if you need anything metric. Fortunately, I grew up in the city next to this place and I used take it for granted....I thought there were places like this everywhere....until I realized that they were an anomaly. Anytime I broke a bolt, stripped some threads, lost a nut, etc...they've been there to save the day, and my sanity. More than a few times I'd be left without my car or motorcycle if it wasn't for them. My most recent fun, and the thing that spurred me to write this, was a weekend car project. The factory had hammered in a bolt to my brake caliper, mangling the threads and bolt. I called dealerships looking for said bolt....and of course, none of them had what I needed. Then I remembered my friends at MSTco! I walked in, told the guy what I needed, handed him a piece of the bolt, and he said " oh ya, no problem." A couple minutes later he comes back with a couple different bolts of varying strength ratings. I grabbed the beefy one, and a re-threading kit, all for around $10. Ran home, slapped it back together, torqued it down, and problem solved. If it wasn't for them....once again I would have been without a car, for at least a day. They are the BEST arrrrooouuund, nothing's ever gonna keep them down!
